Turkey Lurkey Melt
Georgia K.

I LOOOOOOOVED the Turkey Lurkey Melt! I am definitely going to be coming back to this deli to grab myself another one of these sandwiches! Doesn't look like much, but it packs in a lot of yummy flavor!

Seating in the back.

King's Deli is a nice little joint filled with polite employees and good food. If homemade sangria in a bag, artisan chips and drinks, fresh made side, and unique sandwiches on flavorful bread strike your fancy I would recommend Kings Deli. I had the "Bahn Mi! Bahn You!" sandwich. It was wonderful mix of jalapeños, cilantro, and turkey. Paired with sides of pickled beets and the house potato salad the meal was a complementary pairing of contrasts. The seating outside was a great break from the bustle of the uptown scene.

T.L.U.B Sandwich Green Day Bowl Banh mi?!? Banh You?!?

Kings Deli is an awesome addition to Greenville and I couldn't have been more pleased to see that they not only had sandwiches but salads and wraps as well. I had a Green Day bowl that was really fresh, filling and tasty. I'd love to come back and check out some of the other bowl options. I also tried some of the Banh Mi sandwich which was served a great roll and with no surprise really fresh ingredients. The decor and artwork in the restaurant was also really cool and I'm pretty sure they also have a back patio if you're ever interested in dining outdoors.

RASPBERRY BERET -- Brie, NC prosciutto, arugula, baguette

I was so excited to try Kings Deli after reading the menu and seeing that they had a Brie, prosciutto, and arugula sandwich. I picked up sandwiches for myself and my boyfriend today, and everything was absolutely delicious. I had the Raspberry Beret and he had the We Beefin'. We also got pickled beets, a lemon bar, and a sangria. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Ham Part

Went here based on a suggestion and it was great! You can modify your sandwich. I got the "Ham Part" and potatoe salad and it was great! Also tried their "adult Capri sun" (Apple Cidar Mimosa) soooo yummy! We sat outside, plenty of space and so cute. Definitely recommend for a lunch bite!

My favorite of all! The Banh-mi and potato salad

Service was horrible today without being busy. What was supposed to be a great meal turned out bad. I would not go to this restaurant.

Good subs. I like the courtyard seating that you wouldn't know about unless you ask. Decent prices and simple deli options.

Food takes some time as each are made to order but worth it. Nice and helpful staff at the counter. The Deets: I had the chance recently to go tailgating before an ECU football game, and my friends that regularly do so recommended Pirate's Deli so we stopped on our way to the game. This deli is fairly good sized with a extended menu of offerings on a board around two of the walls near the ordering counter/pickup area. The staff was nice and helpful when ordering. I looked over all the great and plentiful choices, finding the NY Yankee Chicken Cutlet Sandwich (breaded chicken, bacon, melted Swiss, lettuce/tomato, with honey mustard) which looked just right for me. Orders do take a while to come up as each are made to order and there were a few people ahead of us already getting their game day selections. Our orders were out soon enough and we were off to tailgate. The sandwich was very good...just messy enough to be interesting but not chaos to eat and the components came together for a great tasting combination (see pic). I was pretty satisfied with this sandwich and would definitely get this one again. Everyone one else felt the same about their food selections as well. In all, a good stop into Pirate's Deli to secure some tailgating eats before the game.

His simple ass kept asking me what was wrong with it and I had to break it down like I was talking to a toddler. He was also either sick at work or had put some snow up is nose, because he was sniffling and snorting every two seconds. They aren't concerned about selling spoiled meats, apparently. Jacob and May are absolutely worthless and one way or another, Bagelman is going to make you sick. Quick reminder of their Health Department violations: VIOLATIONS Proper cooling methods used; adequate equipment for temperature control Food separated & protected Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean Proper cold holding temperatures Handwashing sinks supplied & accessible Edit after Bagelman's response: I think the fact that they think this was just a complaint about their bacon shows that they genuinely don't comprehend food safety. And I absolutely told you what you could go do - this was after being told that you didn't understand what the problem was and I said that you need to check food quality because you're going to make people sick. Notice how I never asked for a refund? I was calling to keep you from making your customers sick, and taking ANY accountability was well beyond your capabilities. A decent business would be concerned with selling rancid products - and Jason didn't know the word "rancid", btw. You can literally see the photo. That isn't what bacon is supposed to look like, my guy. Worse, there's no way it didn't look or smell off before it was prepared and put on a sandwich. We were seated quickly enough but the tables are set up so that some tables have chairs set so your back is directly in front of someone else's chair sideways. So, the diner sitting behind me stared at my back the entire time they were there. I just found this the most awkward of arrangements I've ever seen in a restaurant. I ordered a water & baked ziti with meatballs. When my lunch arrived I thought the meatballs looked dry but after tasting them, while they did look dry on the outside, they were moist and tasted delicious. The rest of the entree was a disappointment. I didn't feel as though there was enough sauce on the ziti, it tasted overcooked and the layers of cheese on top had baked too long. So long it was hard to break off and enjoy in one bite - ziti, meatball and cheese all in one taste. The toasted bread needed more butter as it was just dry toast to me. I had plenty of leftovers and tried to pawn them off on my husband for dinner. While he did eat it all he also made mention that even after heating it up in the microwave, the cheese was still hard to eat. Our server either had too many tables or just doesn't believe in refilling water. I had hopes that if my glass only had ice in it she would take that as a hint to refill it. It was not to be and I had to hunt down a drink soon as we left the restaurant. All in all, this isn't a place I would return to. I liked the atmosphere and the transparent kitchen, it just isn't a place I would spend anymore money in.
