The majority of players (I would estimate) are division 1 or 2, trending toward 2. But the baseball is good, these are players who know how to play. It is functionally identical to Kokomo Municipal (which I have also been too). Again there simply is everything to love about this stadium if you are a baseball fan and a perfect way to spend an evening watching summer baseball. Parking is a bit tricky in the area if you have never been FYI. It felt (?) like parking was limited to lining the nearby residential streets, perhaps I missed something larger.

My husband is in a wheelchair, so he had a seat. I had nothing! They offered me a plastic folding chair but it hurts my back. I have plantar fasciatis so I can't stand on cement. The staff who had originally seated us in the wrong seats were rude when they moved us. They did offer seats in different sections. I spent over $100 there tonight but NEVER AGAIN!

Best softball umpires in town, supporting pretty much the only softball leagues in town. Very nice people playing softball. Horrible terrible softball people. People I want on my team. People I want to hurt really bad. If you sign up for softball, make sure you fill out your roster, otherwise you will get too many emails from the league guy telling you to fill out your roster. No drinking. People bring dogs. There is a covered place for kids to play, so that foul balls don't brain your offspring. Field 5 has a hole behind 3rd base, you might roll your ankle heading there, if you take a wide turn to go home. Field 4 sucks at 7 pm if you are a left handed batter as the sun completely makes the ball disappear. Field 6 sucks at 7 pm if you are a pitcher, as the sun completely makes the ball disappear coming off the opponents bat (there is no shame in wearing face protection). It's dangerous. Field 7 plays ok almost all the time, the only issue might be a throw from 3rd to first. Across the street are the old fields. They are nice as well. Field 2 has the 7 pm batting issue, the rest are pretty good. Annoying people go there and play Frisbee golf. There is apparently also soccer fields. Around the 4th of July you can't tell if people are shooting off fireworks, or if there was a massive gun shootout in the local neighborhood. Both are equally likely. Do they have the fireworks back here now? Apparently not, it used to be here, but has moved to U of I. The roads leading into the park are pot holed and sometimes pretty horrible. There is the tribute to Olympic athletes, which is sort of an arch/doorway thingy. There is a community garden type thing, but I don't know how that works. This was one of the locations that people kind of wanted for the new/moving Champaign High School. It rains too much in this location.

The park has a very nice paved walking trail, 2 picnic pavilions with picnic tables under it, a bathroom facility, three light baseball diamonds, a BMX trail, a tennis court, a basketball court, and a playground area. The basketball court is in decent shape. The tennis court, however, not so much. It almost looks abandoned. The paved walking trail is in good repair. It. The playground is good. It is lined with wood chips and has a couple of banks of regular swings, a large jungle gym with a small slide, a spiral slide, and monkey bars, a merry go round, see-saws, circular monkey bars, a bank of toddler swings, a slide, a hold and spin. There is a separate playground area for smaller children that is fenced in and has small jungle gym and animal rockers. Both areas has benches on the outskirts that parents can sit on and watch their littles play. The larger play area also has picnic tables placed along the grounds. The park is jointly owned by the town and township, whatever that means and is home to a 300-capacity community building that can be rented for special events. There is the Lilly Building, which is also available for rent and it hold 475 people. The park is well maintained is even though it is not as modern as the newer parks that are popping up, it still has a lot to offer. It is on the border of being a destination park. My littles and I enjoyed the park and had a great time. It was a nice day and we had the park all to ourselves, which was cool.

When I stopped on Friday morning to walk the dog, I was shocked to see the parking lot (which holds 60+ cars) almost full. They have 8 pickle-ball courts and they were full with a line of people waiting for a court The pangs of the balls were pretty loud and disrupted any peacefulness that the park has to offer. There is even a set of bleachers to watch the pickle-ball games. Anyway, the park does have an amazing playscape, perhaps the best in the Indy area. There are multiple climbing structures, swings for all abilities, a merry go round type structure and more. There is soft matting under the structures to keep the kids safe. Kids were having a blast. In addition, there is a colorful and awesome splash pad. There are nice benches, some covered, to sit and watch the kids. The park also has a walking trail into a wooded area, which is not paved, just gravel. There is some natural prairie vegetation. Trees have been recently planted. There are a nice set of restrooms including a family restroom. I also saw a small pavilion with picnic tables. Bottom line, while it's a bit crowded and loud, this is a great park with lots of fun things to do.

There is a decent amount of parking available but this park does get packed. The park features 8 very nice, fenced in, pickleball courts, a large playground, an active splash pad. The park also have two shelters with picnic tables under them and some benches under small shelter-like structures that provides some relief from the blazing sun. The splash pad has a lot going on. There are sprinklers, pouring buckets, sprayers, waterfalls and lots more. It is very nice and open from 9am to 8pm. The playground is modern and is Divided into zones for children aged 2 to 5 and 5 to 12. It is laid on a combination of artificial turf and rubberized, mud-free, surfacing. The playground features a swing bank with traditional and ADA swings, a net cone merry go round, a slide on artificial turf covered hills and a small jungle gym structure with a couple of slides and bridges. The highlight of the playground though is the towering jungle gym with a bunch of tall slides, ropes, and bridges. It is one of the first things that you will see when you arrive at the park. Additional amenities at the park include a water fountain that is capable of filling bottles, a restroom facility and a patch of green space to play catch or just throw a blanket down and relax, hiking trails that lead to and from downtown Bargersville. It is a small, but very well designed park. I will admit, that it does get packed during nice weather, no school days, especially on weekends. I really like this park. Bargersville has began to invest in parks, which is nice. This is definitely a must visit while in the Center Grove/Bargersville area.
