We just bought a 2021 Honda Pilot. So many things this SUV does, auto tracking, large screen displays your google app, power everything, smooth ride, lots of headroom, large cargo area, even several settings for all wheel drive. Sandra shared her 11- years experience at this dealership and it's why we bought our car here. We have owned many Honda's, from outboard motors, to our son's Civic hatchback. They have always been trouble free, very dependable and great on gas. This and many other important points of owning a Honda, was discussed with Sandra. We are looking forward to many years of traveling the country in this technical savvy SUV. Everyone we've met we're very friendly. We look forward to our visits to this Kingman dealership in the future. That's you Sandra and Chris for their honesty and professionalism displayed while we bought our new car. read more

Went to Kingman Honda to buy a car. The salesman Chris suggested a few options, and after some discussion I test drove a nice looking used Ford. No mention of any mechanical or electrical issues. I bought the car (with some hassling from them about using a credit card - apparently that cuts into their profit) A few weeks later the backup camera stopped working. Several months later the whole electrical system went haywire. Upon closer inspection, this car may have been in an accident, but no one mentioned this before I bought the car. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, or better yet buy online from a reputable company that doesn't sell lemons. read more

Long story short, I went to the Honda dealer to get my oil changed in my Acura. Rick Davis was my service advisor and I specifically asked for 0W 20 oil to be put in my car, while paying for the invoice I noticed that they had put 5W 20 in the car, when I brought it to his attention, he acted very unprofessional, growled walked over to talk to his service techs, and said we can not ever get this right, then he made some excuse that the way the invoice was printed was a generic for all cars, but the ladies in the billing department corrected him and told him no that has to be chosen by you there is a 0w-20 assignment. Then he asked me to look under the hood of the car and showed me on the lid to the oil. It says 5w 20, he acted as though they did what they were supposed to do. The one thing that pissed me off is he does not even realize he made the mistake and did not communicate to his tech what I requested. I am very unhappy with the service I got from the advisor because he did not listen and communicate to his technician, what I had requested and verified twice before they worked on my car, he was to busy trying to talk me out of a tire rotation, so I could save $20, I had to tell him "no thank you 3 different times I would like my tires rotated" . I take my car to my local Acura dealer every time it needs service with out a problem, and they rotate my tires every time with the key to my tire locks, at no charge, this time after him trying to talk me out of doing it 3 times, it was striped and they couldn't rotate my tires, IMAGINE THAT! I spoke to his supervisor and didn't get anywhere, he referred to what I was explaining to him as "my story", his only offer was to change out the oil, by this point, I don't want them touching my car again, so he said there is nothing they can do for me. Now I have to go somewhere else and have my oil changed tires rotated and pay for it so I can get what I requested the first time put in correctly. I suggest you pay attention to the billing , and make sure what you asked for is done correctly or take your car elsewhere. Rick Davis is very unprofessional and could not even realize or apologize for his mistake. The ladies in the billing department excellent, polite, friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately they will not get another cent from me ever!!!! read more

I Will Never go back again. They charged me $2300. and did not fix the problem. Have a kind a rubbing, scratching sound in the BACK on the driver side of my Ridgeline truck. They put a new driveline in and changed the FRONT tie rod. I had both old parts checked out and the driveline was OK the tie rod was a little loose, but it did not need to be changed yet. Tie rods are in FRONT not BACK where I said the problem was. They want me to bring back my truck so they can fix the problem. WHY I will not get my $2300 back they will just charge more money for other parts THEY WANT TO PUT IN. I have been going to them since 2005 and they were very good WHAT HAPPENED. Be very careful going to them they have gone downhill and want to charge for other parts. read more

I as a concerned customer can honestly attest to the fact the service Department has no respect for customers. The service on Wednesday took my information pertinent to my Honda but never got back Wednesday 2, of March, called again Thursday 3 and talked service Manager Chris Williams who told me and my Wife who would be listening to the conversation about him ordering my Keyless Remote yet they did not. I encourage others not to fall prey at this unscrupulous Dealership where for sure decent hardworking people get lied to. read more

I drove an owner op semi truck for a long time. So I know about buying vehicles and getting work done. I had my car serviced there and they got the job done right at a great price. I'm going back to shop for cars at there dealerships because they will give you the best deal on a new or used car. I would drive to there dealerships if you live in California because you are going to get better prices and better vehicles. read more

After visiting multiple other dealerships and failing at finding the car I wanted, Kingman Honda was there for me! I initially came in with the intentions of just test driving the 2022 Civic Hatchback, but in these crazy times, it was almost ridiculous for me to pass up the car that I've been searching months for. Not only did Kingman Honda have the car in the exact color I wanted, they also had my 2 other top picks to view, (which is crazy odds that my top 3 picks were ALL available on the lot considering the car shortage and the high demand in the market.) Richard made my car buying experience so painless and such a stress free experience. After dealing with previous salesmen in other dealerships that treated me like a number, it was a breath of fresh air to have Richard, who was so friendly and patient with us. He explained every feature of the car and didn't pressure us into buying right then and using the excuse we heard from other salesmen that "if you don't buy it right now, I'll have someone else buy it by the end of the day." I did not feel like that at all at Kingman Honda! Richard was so amazing for helping us get the car we wanted and working with us to make it happen. I 100% would recommend doing business here and would return for future purchases. read more

I don't normally go out of my way to leave a review, unless I feel extremely compelled to do so and as I was reading through other reviews, I was shocked to see the one star or anyone have anything bad to say about the service department at the dealership. HUGE SHOUT OUT to Jim in service. This man needs a raise for 1. Dealing with my stressful chaotic self 2. Because his customer service skills and how he treats his customers is 10/10. This man is honest and such a breath of fresh air when you are a woman and don't know zilch about cars. There's no scamming vibes or him trying to make it more expensive on me. He was an angel and I will proudly bring my car back to this dealership whenever I have another issue. Thank you so much!! read more

I had respect for this business and business owner until yesterday. I tried to get him to resolve a horrible mistake by this service department to one of my senior friends. He took what I said wrong, and told me to leave. After reviewing my friend's paperwork and talking with the service manager (which is recorded) I was astonished that after trying to deal with the owner, that his attitude towards me could change so abruptly, just because a true statement was made about them putting the screw to my friend ($2593 worth and didn't even address his original complaint). Better human relations, better diagnostics, and better service writing is a must. Ask for a breakdown before you sign your repair order, his Spark Plugs were $25.62 each; he was charged for coolant in two different sections of his work order. He got an $800.00 90K service that he didn't request. If you ask for a tune up get specific as to your problem, because they might not ask you the right questions. read more

Beware of this dealership they take advantage of people! we purchased our Honda from them in 2018 yesterday my wife took it in for the service due and was ripped off! I called two other Honda dealers because the price seemed to high and found out that I would of paid $100.00 less at their dealers and they couldn't believe that charged her that much. shame on them for taking advantage of my wife i will never go back and won't be buying anymore hondas from them. To make matter worse the General Manager Chris Morris was no help he told me they only made $42.00 on a $329.00 service that's just wrong, i work in a dealer as a service manager for 34 years. read more

Took my 2018 acura in to their maint shop as said they could fix my issue. After multiple weeks & them charging me for a $560 part that didnt fix my car, I had to take my car to another dealership & have them fix it. Had to pay Kingman Honda $1600 & left with still a non-working car. When asked if they would at least reimburse me for the part that they said to purchase & did not fix problem, they said they could give me $300 shop credit which does me no good as live nearly an hour from their dealership. They did cut me a $300 check but even getting that was like pulling teeth. Thought after mis diagnosing my car on 2 separate occasions, you would think dealership would have made the situation better & at least reimbursed for part but they didnt. Would not recommend & will not be going back after this situation. read more

I have worked for Honda for 7 years. Never have i been so disrespected and lied to by a service advisor like I was by Eric and the service manager at this dealership. If your A/C is broken do not let him tell you your freon evaporated through the aluminum because it is a pourus metal. That is a lie. We took it in to Kingman Honda get it fixed because we spoke with the service manager who said to bring it in and they said there was nothing wrong with it. They must have threw a little freon in it and sent us on our way because 20 miles down the road it is blowing hot air again. We called and they refuse to work on the car. Yes, corporate has been called. Not that they will do much but it is sad that Kingman Honda has employees that would treat customers with such disregard. You would also think that the managers at Kingman Honda would step up and help but Eric stated that his boss agrees that we are not welcome there. Now we are stranded with no air conditioning. My mom just had quadrupal heart surgery and my dad just had cancer surgery. They cannot travel 152 miles home without air conditioning in their car. By the way, their car is a 2020 Honda CRV Hybrid with extended warranty/ Honda Care. read more

I am from Las Vegas and have been in the market for a 2018 Honda Civic Ex-L or Touring (preferably Touring) for awhile. I also was adamant about having the white orchid pearl color. I happened upon Kingman Honda's website and was surprised to see they had two 2018 Honda Civic Touring's in that color. I gave my name and number on the website and within about 30 min Cody, the internet sales manager (I believe that is his title), called me back. He was EXTRAORDINARY helpful and even went as far as to walking out to the car I wanted while on the phone with me to thoroughly explain all the extras the car had. I drove over to Kingman and let Cody know I was en route, he informed me he was having the car cleaned and gassed up so it'd be ready to go when I arrived. Upon arrival I was greeted by Cody and pleasantly surprised to find the car cleaned and under an awning to protect it from the rain. Cody knew all the bells and whistles the car had and explained them to me perfectly. When it came time to "haggle" Cody simply matched the price a pervious dealership in Vegas had given me and there was no need for the lengthy back and forth you find at standard dealerships. The finance gentleman (I wish I could remember his name) was also super helpful even when he had printed the paperwork already and I remembered I qualify for the $500 recent grad discount. He happily reprinted and honored the discount. Cody helped me to remove all my personal items from my trade in vehicle and into my new ride! He then stayed past closing to help me set up all the electronics and equipment in the car, all with a smile on his face. I have been to so many dealerships in the past couple of weeks I'd come to think all car sales people were just out for a quick buck and trying to rip me off. I truly felt I was making an honest and fair transaction with Cody and he was upfront with everything. No matter where you live; Vegas, Kingman, or otherwise, I suggest going to this dealership and asking for Cody! I wish I could give this place 10 stars, I am over the moon happy with my new car!! read more

I was here a couple of weeks ago to get a plastic piece under my car put back in with a temporary fix (which I later found out is called the skid shield/plate) and it turns out that there was a ton of damage that the technicians neglected to mention. When I got my car to my regular service center to properly fix the shield/plate I was told that it was trashed to the point that it was literally falling off my car in pieces. I had no idea. Its the original shield/plate so it wasn't unexpected that after several years there would be a lot of wear and tear but they were surprised that the technicians in Kingman didn't even point it out. Also, they didn't mention the huge dent on the frame right where the most damage to the shield/plate was. Based on the damage to the frame and how messed up the shield/plate is, their educated guess is that I ran over something a while ago that had enough force to damage the frame and shield/plate and it was just a matter of time until it all came undone. To be fair, the technicians here helped me with my problem. They put the shield/plate back in place (or what was left of it) which is what I asked them to do (and this is why my review update is 2 stars instead of 1). However, according to the people I spoke with at my service center, if they (the Kingman technicians) were doing a thorough job they should have have alerted the service advisor who should have told me about the damage under my car regardless if I chose to have it fixed there or not. Had I known about this issue earlier, I would have gotten my car fixed right away but now its a lot worse and I'm literally paying for it. read more

I called last week to get an estimate for having my thermostat replaced. The person I spoke to obviously thought I was an idiot, because he repeatedly told me that I needed to have a diagnosed. He said bring it in for an oil change and will check that out for you. I gave it a little time and I thought well heck if they're going to diagnose it for the price of a oil change I'll go for that. The first thing out of their mouth was it's $120 to diagnose a bad thermostat which I had already told them was bad. Then I asked what was being diagnosed, are they just putting it up on a scope or a machine to tell them what's actually wrong? No, no they don't do that anymore. They would rather have you come in and pay for them to diagnose each and every problem that you have,,, at $120 a pop. Well, my ASSumption was that they'd diagnose my vehicle for the cost of an oil change their ASSumption was that I'd pay it. So, for $180 I'm getting my thermostat replaced somewhere else. read more

Just going to lay it out - Driving from CA to NY my AC blew, would have cost more to fix it than the car was worth. Their quote to fix it was in line with what it should have cost so no problem there. Ended up purchasing a used CR-V - great car but not a great deal. Trade-in had new radiator, new battery, 4 new tires and full tank of gas and they wouldn't budge to give me what KBB said the value was - wouldn't even fill the gas! Pretty lame. I purchased a used Honda CRV to tow behind our motorhome about 6 months ago. We bought it so we could tow behind our motorhome 4 wheels down. Love this little car. We received recall notices at both of our addresses for an airbag recall. The nearest Honda dealership is in Kingman Arizona from us, (130 mile round trip). We made an appointment in September and had the recall performed. About three weeks later, I received a call from the dealership that our part was in. I said what part? I was never told on the first visit we needed a part. The service writer said the service technician broke a trim piece and would need to replace it. We drove the 130 miles round trip to have the part, whatever it was, replaced. Well, we made an appointment for this morning and took the car in. They completed the repair. On the drive back home we had a very annoying rattle coming from the dash on the passenger side. There is something rattling and loose. I called the service advisor and asked him what side of the car the work was performed on. He said on the passenger side of the dash. I reminded him that we have to drive so far each time. I asked him is Kingman Honda going to reimburse me anything for the 400 miles I will have to drive to get this thing fixed for the third time For two call backs? He said "They don't reimburse me anything when I take my car in for repair" He obviously didn't care. I have been in numerous car dealerships over the years, but this one seems a little scruffy. It doesn't seem very professional. read more

While visiting family this past weekend, I stopped by Kingman Honda to see about an oil change for my wife's van. I attempted to get it done prior to leaving San Diego, but ran out of time. I did drive by Kingman Honda in the morning and it appeared that the service department was not open. Being from out of town, I figured that they didn't keep the same hours as the dealerships back home. After spending some quality time with family, I decided to head back out in the afternoon to see if I could find a place to get it done. I drove by Kingman Honda again and noticed that they were in fact open. I pulled in and was greeted promptly by a service staff and was told that they could do the oil change and it would take about 30 minutes. They got right to work and directed me to one of their two customer lounges that offered free bottled water, snacks and wifi. It was a very pleasant, easy experience. Come to find out, when they were done, they had also rotated the tires, which was included in the price. And the price was very reasonable. I know that Kingman is not exactly San Diego, but some businesses in SD would do well to take some cues from Kingman Honda with regard to customer service. read more

I want to share our experience with you so that others do not have the same experience. After it became clear to us that we were not going to get a deal that worked with what my son could afford, Sandra Morris said to us that we were rude people, that we wasted her time and we would not be able to find a car with a car payment that suited us. Really, is that how these salespeople treat customers when the sale isn't made? Not every deal works. Let me tell you what happened: My son and I were at the dealership on Saturday, May 26 to look at Honda Civics for my son. Sandra Morris greeted us. We were up front with her regarding the details of the deal we wanted (pre-owned Honda, minimal down, with about $200 monthly payments). She showed my son a Civic and said that it had bluetooth and a rearview camera. Great, some of the features we wanted. So she went on to say that if we could make the numbers work would we buy today. We told her yes. I asked if my son could test drive the car. Then when he got in the car she told him "Oops, it doesn't have bluetooth or a rearview camera." Was this a bait and switch tactic? We were both kind of turned off on the car at that point because the features were not there. After a bit of negotiation, we were still no where closer to where my son wanted to be for his payment. Sandra kept insisting that because he had a low to nonexistent credit score there was nothing really that they could do. She kept insisting that I co-sign or put more money down, I didn't want to co-sign. I replied that if I put more money down I wanted the car payments down to $220 or lower. She asked what could sweeten the deal. I replied lower payments, the windows weren't tinted and I know that would be cost he would have to put out as soon as he bought the car. She replied that the windows could be tinted, the dealership had good tinting guys. Ok, great. She asked if we would do 225 or 230. I said no that it would have to 220 or lower. She came back from the finance person and said "Okay, the final deal --- $225." We walked outside because my son had gone outside to occupy his 2 year old. As my son was walking up I was telling him, "Their final deal is $225." I asked "And you're still tinting the windows?" Sandra said "No, we're not doing that because we're giving the car away." Wow, I shared that with my son. So quickly the tinting was dropped. He said he wasn't interested. We told Sandra we were not able to do it. She asked what changed? My son said that he couldn't do the payments. Sandra then said we were rude people that she had given up two other deals to continue to work with us (really, she was going to leave us in the middle of negotations?). She continued that we would not find another Honda with the deal we want. Raising her voice louder in the parking lot where others could hear she said to us, "You are just rude. You wasted 2 1/2 hours of my time." My son replied, "Thank you for your time." As we parted and walked away into the parking lot, she continued to say "You're very rude people." I replied back, "Thank you." We left. We both couldn't believe Sandra's behavior. It was shockingly unreal. I have departed negotiations because it didn't work out for me or didn't work with the dealer, either way, I have never met with such behavior from a salesperson. We did find a Honda Civic. My son was able to find a car at Carmax in Henderson with the finance terms that we were comfortable with. Sandra's behavior was unprofessional. Really, was it more important to her to have the sale than to have customers happy with the deal and car? I will think twice to recommend your dealership to friends and family who are in the market for a Honda. I would feel horrible to make such a recommendation and have that person be subject to Sandra's behavior. read more

I was very pleased with the salesman, and the whole sales process. What I am NOT pleased about is the 7 hits to my credit while they 'shopped for the best rate'. I have excellent credit. That changed when it dropped from 830 to 637. One of the finance companies declined me based on that drop - that they helped create! If you decide to buy a car, I would suggest you make it perfectly clear to them that they are not allowed to inquire to more than 2 finance entities. Thanks guys, now I have to rent for another year so my credit will repair itself before I can look at buying a home. read more

Driving from CA to OKLAHOMA I had gotten a blown out tire around 9pm and had agreed to get dropped off at the dealers and wait until they opened to get my tire fixed. I got to the dealers by 3 am, slept in my car and exactly at 8 am checked my car in. The front clerk checked me in and said they didnt cover blown out tires which in fact the warranty that i was under specifically from honda DID. So after showing them warranty specifications on the site they "found out" it was definitely under the specifications and that i was going to have my tire replaced free of charge, prior to the list of ridiculous prices for tires they showed me. Mind you im driving a 2018 honda civic si. They told me that theyd have to go through another company to get my tire in which i was patient and waited. 12pm : front desk tells me that the third party will take 24-48 hrs of approval to replace my tire unless i pay them $128 now and then receive reimbursement. I talked to the warranty manager and had a discussion about my warranty and the urgency of this fix. She finally came back saying they misread the guidelines for the third party company and was now able to replace my tire. Ive been here for 9 hours before i could get ONE tire replaced. My warranty also covera oil changes and a free car wash but the service manager gave me the run around about how they cant provide those services under my warranty because theyve never heard of the sentinel package EVEN THOUGH THEY THEMSELVES SELL THE PACKAGE. Absolutely the WORST experience here! My wife and I stopped in just to ask some questions about a used vehicle they have for sale. We told them what our budget was and also advised them that we are not in any hurry to buy. We know exactly what our credit is and exactly what we can get for financing. The sales rep promised us that our credit would not be ran, but they wanted to try to put a deal together for us so they needed to do a "soft pull". Straight up LIE! They shopped our credit to 3 different banks!! After lying to our face, the sales rep came back to the desk and quoted us a payment of almost $200 more than what we were looking for, plus wanted $2k down on a $10k car. My wife and I told them that we won't be buying the car and we were ready to leave. They begged us to reconsider and to speak with their "sales manager" who happens to just be another sales rep that likes to lie to people. We took the opportunity to hear what he had to say. He sat down and litterally insulted us and our intelligence! My wife happens to be a Math Major and I happen to be a Banker (so we know our stuff), and all he could say, "Maybe if you didn't buy a soda at the gas station every day, you could afford this payment." Seriously? We don't even drink soda! He followed up with, "It's mathematically impossible to get the payment we were looking for..." I told him that we could go purchase the same make and model car; 1 year newer, better condition, and half the miles, in Las Vegas right now. His exact words, "Do you have your hand on that car right now?" What does it matter if I do or don't?! Then he follwed with, "We have been in town for 20 years so we take care of our customers..." Yeah, I happen to know quite a few people who have been hosed from these guys. It's a small town and word of mouth travels faster than any of the vehicles sitting stagnant on their lot! After being insulted and talked down to, we left and went and bought the other car from the other dealership for the payment we were looking for and not one bit of hassle! I sure hope that anyone reading this review, chooses to shop someplace other than this Honda dealership. read more

This has been the worst auto repair experience. We had rodents eat the wiring off our high mileage pilot we use very occasionally and thought all was well until we realized they did not give us a copy of the original intake docs. Fortunately insurance was involved to document everything but after several days they called with a laundry list of other issues and another sales person called to tell us these were mandatory repairs. It became obvious they are targeting seniors thinking they can either up the bill by thousands or sell you another car. I will NEVER go back to this place. Richard in Service is a liar and he YELLS at customers when he is shown to be a liar. They charged me for everything I needed done even though I have a 5 year, 100,000 mile warranty. Radio update, batteries for my remotes and over $850.00 on tires that were NOT STOCK and I lost over 3 miles a gallon. DON'T go to Kingman Honda unless you want to be treated like dirt and bullied by Richard in Service. You'll know him as he has a pony tail and doesn't shave for days. VERY unprofessional and RUDE. read more
