Rudest, monotone pharmacist she's ever dealt w/. He tells her that they cant get any meds bcuz they need to call his doctor. She asked him, how were they going to send a request 4 the other 3 meds that they'd just sent thru 4 them 2 send a request to the doctor? He said, " U weren't. I don't have the doctors fax #, so you'll have 2 call.". Now as long as we've been dealing w/ pharmacies, I know this isn't true & so does she. Just plain laziness. So she asked him, so if we didnt call, how were we supposed 2 know that my brother needed to perform this task in order 2 obtain his meds? He says, "U wouldnt.". So she asked 4 his name & he tells her "Pharmacist.". The level of control that I know she had 2 maintain in order 2 stay as polite as necessary had 2 be unbelievable. My question is, what's the point in dealing w/ the neighborhood pharmacy if the pharmacist has no desire 2 assist the community? Some older folks don't even understand things like this or know how or what needs 2 be done 2 get their medications that keep them alive. It's ridiculous. We're switching back to the pharmacy @ Giant.

My question to Shai was "do you contact customer with this important information"? Shai replied "customers normally don't pick up the same day they have a prescription filled." I was shocked to say the least. I asked if it could be transferred to another pharmacy and he printed out a copy and said, " here you go". I asked, "would the new pharmacy need anything else besides this piece of paper to fill my much needed prescription"? No,not to my knowledge was his reply. Ofcourse he was wrong... i get all the way to another pharmacy and they weren't able to fill it without it being transferred.
