Today my wife called the pharmacy 2 refill her brothers meds thru the automated system. However,…read morethere was 1 they didn't have the # 4. So she called. Rudest, monotone pharmacist she's ever dealt w/. He tells her that they cant get any meds bcuz they need to call his doctor. She asked him, how were they going to send a request 4 the other 3 meds that they'd just sent thru 4 them 2 send a request to the doctor? He said, " U weren't. I don't have the doctors fax #, so you'll have 2 call.". Now as long as we've been dealing w/ pharmacies, I know this isn't true & so does she. Just plain laziness. So she asked him, so if we didnt call, how were we supposed 2 know that my brother needed to perform this task in order 2 obtain his meds? He says, "U wouldnt.". So she asked 4 his name & he tells her "Pharmacist.". The level of control that I know she had 2 maintain in order 2 stay as polite as necessary had 2 be unbelievable. My question is, what's the point in dealing w/ the neighborhood pharmacy if the pharmacist has no desire 2 assist the community? Some older folks don't even understand things like this or know how or what needs 2 be done 2 get their medications that keep them alive. It's ridiculous. We're switching back to the pharmacy @ Giant.

By far the worst. 12/18/19 my physician electronically sent over a prescription at 12noon. I go in…read moreto the pharmacy to pick it up at 4:30pm and I am told by a young man name Shai that it has to be ordered and it will not be there until 12/20/19. My question to Shai was "do you contact customer with this important information"? Shai replied "customers normally don't pick up the same day they have a prescription filled." I was shocked to say the least. I asked if it could be transferred to another pharmacy and he printed out a copy and said, " here you go". I asked, "would the new pharmacy need anything else besides this piece of paper to fill my much needed prescription"? No,not to my knowledge was his reply. Ofcourse he was wrong... i get all the way to another pharmacy and they weren't able to fill it without it being transferred.

Customer service has always been one of the best and it's easy to find what you're looking for…read more While it's not Trader Joe's, it's a pleasant place to shop for groceries. It has an excellent selection of everything .

If you've ever wondered what it's like to pay premium prices for a bargain-basement experience,…read morewelcome to Harris Teeter on North Saint Asaph. The self-checkout area is a masterclass in frustration. There aren't enough lanes, the systems look like they were installed sometime during the Bush administration, and half of them are usually "temporarily out of service" with paper bags draped over the screens like little brown tombstones. The line regularly stretches toward the back of the store, so forget "quick trip." The few seasoned employees who work that area really do try, but most of the self-checkout staff have perfected the art of standing nearby while being remarkably unhelpful. Prices, of course, are sky high--which might be easier to swallow if the place didn't feel so out of control. Shoplifting is clearly a sport here; you can literally watch people grab cases of beer and stroll right out the door. Handheld baskets are scarce because those walk out too. Outside, the loading dock area frequently smells putrid, and the seating area that's supposed to be for paying customers is often taken over by loiterers and left dirty and uninviting. It's not exactly the relaxing neighborhood grocery vibe they're going for. And then there's the parking garage. The lighting is dim enough that you half expect a crime drama to be filming in the corner. It feels dingy, not safe or welcoming, and the escalators from the garage to the store are out of service so often they might as well be decorative art pieces. For a grocery store in the heart of Old Town, this place should feel clean, secure, and well-managed. Instead, it's giving "municipal chaos with luxury pricing."
