I hate leaving bad reviews however my last experience was rough. Everyone here is extremely nice, but sometimes the job quality itself is more important than nice. I had a gel manicure and a gel pedicure and my mom got a regular mani pedi. The manicure started off well and I got cut when she was cutting down my cuticles... I wasn't upset because I understand it can happen. When she did my pedicure, she cut me more than twice and my toe was bleeding quite a bit. She proceeded to put alcohol, oil, then nail glue on the cut because I kept bleeding. I was okay with the alcohol, then I was alright with the oil... but the nail glue burned very very badly and I actually spoke up about it and she just looked and apologized. My toe burned for the remaining time and is still cut up now and it's been a couple of days. My mom's manicure is already chipped. I will not be back. read more

This is your basic, no frills nail salon. If you're looking for a place that isn't some fancy spa with a $50 pedicure or $60 for gel, this is that. That being said, I don't go there for anything complicated. They have a big selection of polishes. I usually get a pedicure or basic gel nails. Once I got a full set of nails with color acrylic and I didn't like the shape or the quality of the colored acrylic, so I never did anything "extra" like that again. I can usually get serviced as a walk in, but there can be a wait if you go at peak times like Friday evening. The staff is pretty nice and accommodating. This was my first time here and I found it by searching for a good quality nail salon via Yelp! I went for a pedicure and was happily surprised at the number of options you have for the type of pedicure you'd like and also have the ability to add on individual services such as paraffin wax, callus removal, hot stones, etc to the basic pedicure which is $18. I chose the highest deluxe spa pedicure which was $35 but was definitely money well spent! My feet have never felt so renewed and Tony did an amazing job! He took his time and it showed in the results. The hot stone massage felt wonderful and the callus removal process with the shaver and scrub was the best I've ever gotten. The only slightly unpleasant factor was that the paraffin wax was incredibly hot, borderline painful. I do have slightly sensitive skin so it's very possible this is just subjective to temperature. I've had other paraffin waxes during pedicures at other salons and they didn't seem quite as hot but he stopped when I told him that three dips was enough for me! The salon is a little small but it is very clean and has character with its decorations. They have numerous services like the average salon would but they can customize each level of manicure and pedicure, which I found to be pretty neat. I brought my own nail polish this time because I had a color in mind, however when I browsed their nail color selection just for kicks I was surprised they didn't have as much of a selection as the average salon does. Omg! Just had my lashes done by Danny and he was awesome. He was done in under 15 min. He washes his hands and uses an eye lash dryer. The glue did not burn or sting. I made an appointment and had no wait time. I've been to 5 different salons in the Brandon area and the place is closed or the technicians quit. I'm sooo glad I found this place. I got a great manicure and pedicure here. I don't get polish on my fingernails; instead I usually have them buffed to a shine because I prefer a more natural look and lower maintenance. I have been to several salons where they acted very put-out by this request, but at Kingdom Nails the woman not only accommodated me cheerfully but used an actual buffing machine, which provides a much better result but which is rarely seen. I will NEVER go back here...AWFUL experience from start to finish. I decided to get a gel manicure (first time doing gel) and pedicure because I was a bridesmaid in a wedding this weekend. I have heard great things from people about how long gel manicures last, yet I got mine Thursday morning and by Sunday 4 nails were chipped. Extremely disappointed about that. I am pretty sure I had the owner as my manicurist which makes all of this even worse...when I first walked in she called me by the wrong name, this continued throughout my entire appointment even though I politely corrected her several times - after a certain point I just gave up and started responding to the wrong name. She pointed to her station and had me sit for about 15 minutes before she even addressed me - keep in mind I had called the day before and asked for the earliest appointment as I needed to be done early. Once she came over to me she practically tossed the basket of gel colors in front of me and then hovered over me while I looked through all the colors...she was trying to rush me even though she just made me sit for 15 minutes. After I found the color she had someone else grab it from the back, she then informed me that they weren't a "match" - something that I now assume is common with gel colors? however this was not explained to me beforehand even though I told her this was my first gel manicure. I explained to her that I needed my nails and toes the same color because I was in a wedding, she had me look through the colors again and had the other woman go back and forth about 5 times - everytime coming back with gels that weren't "matches". She then became frustrated at me for being "picky" and she started raising her voice at me and speaking down on me in front of a few other people getting pedicures...I was mortified. I reluctantly picked a color, she started filing my nails and halfway through my thumb nail she got up without explanation to get a food delivery, came back about 5 minutes later and she painted the first layer and had me put my hand under the light then she got into conversation with an employee and the light cycle rotated about 3 times, she looked over and yelled at me for not changing my hands even though she never instructed me to do so, I reminded her again that this was my first gel manicure. I'll spare you the long explanation of the pedicure but just know it wasn't much better than the gel manicure. I will never go back here and I'm very upset I paid $52 to go through that and have my nails chip 3 days later. Terrible establishment. read more

Gross! Dirty! Most places use liners for pedicures these days and they don't. The tech was lazy wanted to use the drill on my nails to buff them, of course I said no!! It takes no time to use a buffer. Well she did and it was filthy and probably used on every client in the last month. I saw blood all over the clients toes sitting next to me as she was digging out an ingrown. I definitely opted out for my ingrown to be removed. This is the kind of nail salon you get infections from. Be careful!! Oh and the massage chair only let me use the auto function. Thumbs down for that! read more

I've been going to Kingdom Nails for almost 10 years now. They have a consistent team of friendly people who always do a great job. They have a clean business and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Their chairs were recently upgraded too. They offer a variety of pedicure options but I'd recommend the lavender one...it's wonderful!! It smells great and its so relaxing. They even massage your feet and legs with cold cucumber slices towards the end of it. They have evening and weekend hours so I can always find time to make it in. I also get my eyebrows waxed there. Kim has been doing my nails for so long that I don't even have to tell her what I want anymore unless I want something different. In my younger years Kevin did my nails for a full acrylic set. & he was awesome at it. Now I just do Manis/Pedis. Before my mom passed away I would take her here & they always treated her just right. (She had Alzheimers & was always treated like a queen) I actually first found them in the Brandon Mall back in the late 90's. But moved & came back & they were at this new location & have been here ever since. They did my daughters wedding party back in 2004... Just all around good people & great service. I stopped in here on a Monday early evening. I needed a mani/pedi & brows done. Upon arrival there were 2 techs working on clients, another tech in the back and one more up front who was screwing something into the wall. That man told me to take a seat it would be a few minutes. After he finished screwing the thing in the wall he asked me to sit at his station. Not sure why he wouldn't have stopped considering their was a client waiting. The man at the front did the mani, the polish was a little sloppier than I would have liked. The pedi was done by another girl and it was great, I had the deluxe which included hot stones and a paraffin dip. The place really picked up when I was having the pedi, another 6 people came in. As I finished with pedi we started to walk back for the brows, the gal up front said something to my tech and she said to sit and let me toes dry the other lady would do my brows.
