They are so thin I can pick up coins without having to slide them across the counter. My polish lasts as long as with gel polish, but I do not need to soak in Acetone. I have gotten gel polish here, and the removal was a professional wrap, not soaked cotton and tin foil. Liz is friendly, meticulous and can please the pickiest of people.. me. The shop is very clean, very friendly. I am so glad I found it.

She is very nice but got annoyed when I told her if she could cut my toe nails after she had filed them. She never asked me if I wanted them cut or not and I was on my phone so I didn't notice. She is not good at putting polish on either. Needs a paintbrush dipped in acetone to fix the polish all around your nails and puts on thick layers of polish all the way past the cuticle. Afterwards the top coat starts bubbling up. They are all very nice but should have a higher standard if they are charging $28 for a mani and pedi and have $20 for a mani pedi on the wall above the polish. Could also be cleaner.

The staff is kind, even through this crazy 2020 and staff changing for everyone. She was very fast but thorough. Did a GREAT job with my nails. I just got normal polish, which usually makes my fingernails chip within 2-3 days, but even after 5 days my nail polish is still going strong! Not the friendly lady but I'm not the type of person to go to nail salons and want to be BFF with my manicurist. She's quick and effective, which is exactly what I wanted. Without the groupon, a regular mani/pedi is still extremely reasonable -- I believe they usually have a special where it's $35 for both. I usually end up being pretty dissatisfied with nail salons I find usually groupon/living social deals but this is the one place where I think I'd actually end up going back.

I like a bright blonde look (but not platinum blonde) with dimension so I trade off doing partial & full highlights. I recently moved & booked a partial highlight & cut with Madison Wright. I arrived with multiple photos of my previous highlights, photos of the highlights on models, & the cut I was requesting which was the same cut I had but a few inches shorter. She showed me a picture of her work & I said yes please copy that. What my hair ended up looking like was nothing like we communicated about. In all my years of getting partial highlights I've always had the stylist highlight the front & top section of my hair as well as a small section around my neck. This way, when you pull your hair up the highlights look seamless all the way around. This is important for a seamless look especially in a hot climate where one would most likely wear their hair up frequently. Madison did not do this; I thought this was industry standard. While highlighting, she dropped a giant dollop of bleach on my hair & quickly tried to fix her mistake before I noticed. When she did my root tap, she tapped the dye on & brushed it through my hair basically erasing any of the highlights she just did. She also got hair dye all over the sides of my mask. When I was walking back to the chair, this is when I initially noticed my hair looked off. I had splotchy brassy blonde pieces in the front with huge dark roots & a harsh blonde line from where she brushed down all of the root tap. I wanted to see what it looked like dried though. While she was drying my hair, I could tell how horrible the work was. I went from a bright blonde with a layered haircut to a brassy blonde with an all uneven barely layered haircut. I was so upset. In addition, I could tell my hair was unbelievably brittle & dry. Every other time I've gotten highlights my hair has always been so silky & smooth after leaving the salon. When asked how I liked the look, I stated I did not like it. Her response was "I don't understand what you don't like this, it is exactly what you asked for". This made me feel so incredibly horrible as a client; like apparently all of this was my fault. She only offered to fix the cut, not the color. Madison did block me so I am unable to message her at all which I do not believe is professional. I am so upset by the whole situation!

I just moved to town and chose a different salon at first…read moreand the lady really made a mess of my lashes, it was very upsetting and she cancelled the appointment to fix them on the day of my appointment. Ilona took me in at the last minute because I was leaving on a trip for 3 weeks and my lashes were a real mess. She fixed them with mostly all new lashes, I love them. The salon was clean and Ilona was gentle and professional with my eyelids. Trust is huge with eyes, I really trust Ilona and she will be doing my lashes from now on. I am on vacation now and my lashes are all there and beautiful, thank you Ilona.
