Dr. G was extremely thorough. He sat my significant other down and talked through the pains, the origins of the pains and history. He pairs amazing attention to detail and asked several questions that helped pinpoint different aspects of the pain. The staff was extremely comfortable and nice to talk to . He too was from California so we were able to have such a nice genuine conversation. Most chiropractic Drs just do what their paid for and that's it. He really cared. Will definitely be returning.

I was initially referred by my husband. My original chiropractor since I was in High School had passed so I was relieved to find one much closer. My hubby shared his experiences and after finishing all 3 of my appts, it was a bit different as I did not get the massage gun experience lol.. Though I learned lots of good habits to continue. He jumps between his Wahiawa and Town location. And he's open on Saturdays. So Overall, my pain went away! Parking was confusing to me. I knew where they were as I pass his Wahiawa location practically daily. So there is actually a parking lot diagonally across from Kilani Bakery fronting a house. Park on the lot on Kilani Ave, not the lot across Golden Coin side. The stalls aren't reserved specifically for tenants of the house so I parked in whichever stall was open.

Fabulous customer service!! Dr Matsumoto spent time with me and asked a few questions that seemed relevant to my pain. After he professionally rubbed my muscles, he would ask me how each muscle felt as he rubbed. If it was sore, he would rub harder and force me to stretch while breathing. Yes, painful but at the end, I felt Sooooooo much better and the pain was tolerable. He also manipulated my back which was a relief. I've been on a motorcycle accident rehab journey since 2014 so I've had my fair share of physical rehab as well so there are things regarding the spine, and tissue, that I have already been aware of. I also chose this clinic because it had mostly 5 star ratings with one bad rating - that had nothing to do with their practice so I disregarded it. The great things were that everyone was friendly. Good vibes. However I thought the assessment was not that thorough considering my previous chiropractic experience which included X-rays, posture assessment; spine, pelvic position, feet position, etc. This had none of that but more just asking where the pain was and my history about the pain. Then he went straight to aligning and cracking with no warming up. In the past I'd have electric stim for about 10 min with a warm pad, massage about 5 min to loosen the area, and then the alignment and it wasn't so harsh. Sometimes they'd incorporate laser therapy, or infrared therapy. Overall I thought the care was so incomplete. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. My old chiropractor would also go over rehabilitation exercises that would help strengthen those areas. This clinic had none of that nor was he curious as to what kind of rehab exercises I did. For those of you who are searching for long term results in healing your joint and tissue dysfunction you need to research FRC- Functional Range Conditioning, Kinstretch which is a branch of FRC, PAILs and RAILs - Progressive / Regressive Angular Isometric Loading. These exercises are proven to rebuild tissue quality and neurological connection to those areas improving hydration to those areas. Another thing your chiropractor won't tell you is how your diet (which should be aligned with your ancestry and genes) and your quality of sleep will help with the healing process or poor practices will keep you spiraling out of order. Chiropractic care is only temp relief and does serve a purpose. Thank you guys for that. But it should by no means be a crutch to get by with temp episodes of mobility. Sure accidents happen and they can jump start the process but be aware you don't have to depend on them weekly when you learn and discover how to rebuild tissue and neurological connections. It becomes just another money making machine without actually healing root problems. Good Luck to you all. Hope I brought a ton of awareness to a lot of people who are needing real long term results.

I wanted to go to a chiropractor closer to home and decided not to go with them because of the cost and unnecessary x-rays. I would need to be worked on instead of waste two sessions for x-ray and timeline. My parents started seeing Dr. Cassy over a month now and recommended that I see her. Thank goodness her staff was so friendly and was able to get me an appointment in such short notice after cancelling the other appointment I had with the chiropractor closer to home. The office is located on the second floor by the staircase next to fatboy's next to costco. The receptionist were very nice and polite. I was given paperwork to fill out before my appointment. Once I was done, I went to watch an informative video about your spine. Once Dr. Cassy was available, she did a series of visual tests and took my picture. She explained thoroughly how the spine worked and the benefits of seeing a chiropractor. Lets just say... I'm jacked up. When she took me into the room and started doing work on me... DAAAANG. We got some good cracks. I felt wonderful. After I left, I tried to be more cautious of my posture (I slouch bad) and to not self crack. My second appointment three days later confirmed that I was jacked up. Normal head for my weight is 10lbs but the way my posture, it feels llike 44lbs on my spine. Ugh. I can honestly say I do not feel the pain I was feeling prior to coming. I am glad I made the move to go see a chiropractor. I'm glad I found Dr. Cassy as she is very personable, caring, and great at what she does. She is currently pregnant but, I heard that Dr. Kurtus is also good. My dad who is over 350lbs, goes to both Dr. Cassy and Dr. Kurtus. Very happy with my experience and my plan for a better back. I would highly recommend the staff here!

Let me preface this by saying that I've been extremely disappointed by all the massages I've…read morereceived in Oahu since moving here in August. I love deep tissue, ART, and really getting in there and working out whatever is wrong. Most of the other massages I've had are more of the swedish style with sweeping strokes that feel good but do very little in terms of fascia blasting or whatever happens with deep tissue. Someone recommended I try Brenda. Her shop is in Mililani and not too far from me, so I thought why not? I texted her and after working out our scheduling, managed to get an appointment fairly quickly. She works out of her home rather than a studio. I kind of liked it. She has a dog and cat so if you have allergies, just be aware. She started me off in a thing on a mattress that was supposed to do something with my blood platelets or something. No idea. But it was comfortable just relaxing for a minute before she worked on me. She also had me get into a red lamp bed (sort of like a tanning bed but with red light). I think this also helped warm up my body to make it more pliable when we moved over to the table. Here's where things got interesting. She started with a theragun. I have one at home so I was really hoping that this wasn't going to be the extent of the massage--this happened at another place i went to. But much like the red lamp thing, this was just to soften me up--a prelude to the actual massage. Much like Thai massage, Brenda gets on top of your back and uses her feet to massage you. This was pretty effective. It's definitely not as targeted as when therapists use traditional deep tissue techniques, but not far off. I would have like a little more focus on specific areas on my hip that she'd need to use her hands on but I should have said something. Anyway, she really works you over with her techniques. She also helped stretch out my legs and hip area using sort of physical therapy techniques which I loved. She adjusted my back, neck, and hip using chiropractor-like techniques. All good. Really the best part of the entire process is just Brenda's big, effervescent personality. I left with recommendations to places all over Oahu because she knows everyone. She even gave me her cookie dough recipe. If you need a legit massage rather than the useless stuff you typically get a spa or whatever, give Brenda a try. She's brilliant.
