This place is a whole vibe definitely worth the price and I'm already planning my next visit. I went for lunch on a Monday and it was perfect; no long lines, not too crowded, and no wait at the hibachi station (which is a huge plus). Lunch was $16.95 and dinner is $26.95, and I was told dinner has even more options, so I'm excited to come back and try that. It's all-you-can-eat with separate stations for everything. Hibachi, sushi, seafood, dessert, and a full buffet. I made it my mission to try something from every station and honestly, everything was delicious. The dumplings were really good, and a lot of the sushi rolls had mango, which was different but surprisingly so good. I tried about 10 different sushi rolls; most were amazing, but there was one I didn't love (not sure of the name, just wasn't a fan of the texture). Still, with that many options, you're bound to find plenty you love. The restaurant is brand new, super clean, and very well maintained. Even the bathrooms were spotless and smelled fresh (you already know that matters ). Service was on point; staff was very attentive, refilling drinks quickly and checking in without being overbearing. I have heard some buzz on this buffet and we had been invited to lunch with family friends providing the opportunity to visit sooner rather than later. There is ample parking and conveniently located at the Stop & Shop plaza on Kitts Lane in Newington, right next to Stop & Shop. This is probably one of the better buffets I have been to. They even have a noodle station beside the usual stations found at other buffets. The sushi station not only has sushi rolls, it also has assorted sushi and sashimis with a variety of sauces. I finally decided to check out Kingdom Buffet after seeing it all over TikTok, and I'm glad I did. They opened in January this year, so they are still pretty new. The restaurant is very clean and spacious, with tons of options including meats, rice, noodles, fresh fruit, seafood, sushi, a hibachi station, pizza, and more. It is definitely comparable to Royal Buffet, which used to be in Manchester,CT. If you know, you know. The highlight was crab legs, crawfish, and whole crab. You really cannot go wrong with that. The food was seasoned well and fresh, and they were constantly bringing out new trays. The staff were attentive, and everything stayed stocked. I was very impressed with this buffet since we don't have any good Chinese buffet around us in CT. Since this buffet is new, everything is new, clean, and food and good at the moment. I hope they do not slip and reduce the quality of food. They have soups, dumplings, Chinese food, fried apps, American food, habachi, sushi, and decent amount of seafood for dinner. They also had fruits and salad. I was extremely happy to see the yellow dragonfruit. I ate a ton! Besides the fruits for dessert there's cup ice cream cookies, and some bakery goods. At 4PM on Super Bowl Sunday I was shocked to see Kingdom Buffet so packed. And I'm talking multiple parties of 10-20 people walking in, with birthday balloons and Valentine's flowers and such. It was an equal shock to be seated so quickly and have our drink orders taken (but the server indignantly protested my request for "free" soda when I had actually requested "three" for our table). Anyway... The food was fine, but the prices were high for a buffet. The sushi and sashimi were the standouts for me while everything else was typical buffet fare. On this bone chilling day I would have loved some soup, but I didn't see any. The lines were definitely a hindrance, though, so I probably missed a lot because I didn't want to stand in the hibachi line or wait for the comically tiny crab legs to be refilled. A nice pan-Asian offering in Newington. The buffet has items that range from Japanese sushi, to hot Chinese-American dishes as well as a to-order noodle bar, finishing with a whole dessert section with fresh fruit, jello and pastry options. The food overall is quite a bit better than normal buffet fare. Everything is hot, fresh, and filling. In some ways, I preferred the hot food to the sushi, which itself is quite good as well; obviously you can't come here expecting the same quality as a high end Japanese restaurant, but it is nevertheless quite good. The restaurant is well staffed; they are very attentive in coming by to refill drinks and clear dishes. Lunch ran in the low $20 mark for an all you can eat lunch + hot tea, which is pretty good for what you get. 3.5 stars. Went to Kingdom Buffet for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was $26.95 for adults on the weekend. I feel like it was a bit pricey but everything is nowadays. I went with my partner and it ran about $58 before tip. The place was clean and I like the spacing of the tables. The waitress was attentive and refill drinks quickly. Along with the normal buffet, they had a sushi, hibachi, and noodle area. I didn't try the make your own hibachi or noodles but the sushi was pretty good for a buffet. I did enjoy the normal Chinese American buffet. They refill it with fresh hot food quickly. Some parts of the buffet is single line so there is a bit of a wait if you're behind someone who is taking forever. You may have to jump over them if you're a bit impatient. I had to check out the hype but unfortunately, I must've missed it because I didn't see the hype. Thursday evening and the place is packed. As busy as they were, we only waited about 15 minutes to be sat. Service by our server was good she refilled drinks and cleared our table quickly, maybe a little too quickly that we felt rushed. I was super excited for the food but was disappointed. It was mediocre at best. Sushi was decent. They had it beautifully displayed and it was tidy. The black pepper tuna was overcooked and dry. The squid salad was too chewy and the dressing lacked the flavor of other squid salads I've had and loved. Seaweed salad was decent. Kimchi wasn't fermented enough. Kani salad was underdressed. Fried salt and pepper shrimp wasn't fermented enough greasy and not crunchy like it should've been. I had to add additional salt and pepper at the table. Salt and pepper squid was overcooked and dry. Fried crab was decent but lacked flavor. Hot and sour soup lacked flavor and wonton chips were super greasy. Pork dumplings were old and crusty (in a bad way) as if they sat out too long. Beef and pepper was over seasoned. Lo mein was "meh". Clams in black bean sauce were delicious and full of flavor but kind of gritty. The bbq pork bao and shrimp dumpling was mediocre but not dim sum status. Dessert was interesting. Fried plantains were decent. Jello wasn't fermented enough gross and hard. Fried sugar donuts were good. Sesame balls with black bean paste was just okay. Selection of fruits was boring (melons, oranges). Ice cream and sorbet in freezer was the best dessert. The decor is very modern and nice. Huge restaurant but I'm not impressed by the food. I don't recommend this establishment nor will I return. read more

I went with my sister for a lunch date. They have great lunch prices and so many different foods to choose from. I had sushi, ramen, seaweed salad, edamame, lo mein, a fried plantains, sautéed green beans and more! It's very spacious with many seats. My sister enjoyed the claw machine games they have for family visitors. They even had pizza and chicken nuggets for picky kiddos. Our waitress was kind and attentive. I'm sad I didn't take any photos on our lunch trip yesterday. I'm usually not wowed by buffets unless the quality of the food is really good so this is my opinion. The food here is flavorful. Nothing I tried was cold. The fried crabs were easily my favorite and the steamed snow crab was pretty good as well. I was amazed at the amount of options here. The sushi just didn't do it for me and neither did the make your own ramen station. All in all, it was a great lunch and great value. There's definitely something for everyone! Buffets are back!!! My family really enjoyed this spot. A variety of options for food as seen in the attached pic. All the servers were attentive especially when refills were needed. A solid 4.5 stars......rounded up to 5 stars easily. First ones through the door on a week day for lunch. As others have already mentioned numerous times a bright airy space with many tables and booths. We were sat promptly by a very polite hostess and a server immediately took our drink order. The amount of food was staggering. Sushi in particular. At least 20 different kinds of rolls and 5 kinds of nigiri. I sampled over half of the rolls available and they were all exceptionally well made. My favorite being the Philadelphia roll. Love the smoked salmon! They had other stations of American and Asian cuisine too numerous to mention as well as soups. A notable mention was their hibachi station as well as a noodle bar which is something that I have personally never seen. At $16.95 and $2.25 for refillable soda you can't go wrong and definitely not going to beat the quality for sure. Food was good. They had different dumplings, bao buns, sushi, sashimi, lots of shrimp, hibachi and ramen station. We went during lunch and they didn't have crab legs( I believe it's only for dinner). We paid $16 for lunch time. It was worth the price. I heard the dinner price is $30 and it's only worth it I think if you like seafood. I could be wrong. But will be returning. brand new spot and honestly a great first impression. this place just opened and everything felt clean, modern, and well put together right away. the dining area is spacious and bright, and it feels way more upscale than your typical chinese buffet. the food was the big win here. the hot bar was consistently fresh and actually hot, with a really solid variety. the ramen station was a standout. flavorful broth and toppings that didn't feel like an afterthought. the hibachi bar was also great, cooked fresh and exactly how you want it. i was especially impressed by the bao bar, which is something you don't usually see at buffets, and was done really well. they were refilling food often, nothing tasted like it had been sitting out forever, and the sushi area looked clean and well maintained. staff were friendly and attentive, especially considering how new the place was. for a brand new buffet, this is a strong start. if they keep this level of quality and cleanliness up, this will definitely be a regular spot. read more

The food is great. I have been here twice since Valentine's Day. It's super pleasant to be here. It's quiet to a degree. The workers are very sweet and friendly. It's also relatively affordable especially if you're in a pinch and trying to find somewhere to eat I would recommend this. They have great deals. I haven't gotten sick from the food, and that's a first for a buffet. This place is surprisingly clean. The bathrooms are clean. The tables are clean. This was the opening day at lunch. Being opening day there were some hiccups but the food was great! I didn't have the Sushi or Sadhimi. I stayed with the buffet items. I liked that they had a mixture of 'Americanized' Chinese food along with more traditional Chinese dishes. The Crab Legs were cold not warm but were really tasty. I loved the steamed white fish! I also liked the Mongolian Pork and Black Pepper Beef dishes. the dessert cakes were light and very tasty. I prefer my Hot and Sour soup to have less mushrooms but the tast was good. the Pork Boa could have had more pork . the Shrimp dumplings were a bit too sticky. The real test will be to see as time goes on if the quality remains consistant.
