I was quoted a price for powder coating my wheels and calipers for a slingshot. I verified the…read moreprice on two occasions. After dropping the vehicle off and waiting inside for 20 minutes, I headed home. 15 minutes later, I received a call saying I was given the wrong price and that the actual price would be $75 more per wheel (3 wheels). I did not agree to that and was told they could do it for $35 more per wheel. Then he offered to do it for $100 more than the price I agreed to. After completing the work, he wanted to charge more if I paid by any way other than cash. I originally told them I wanted to use in-house financing. After the work was complete, I was told that they would have to be charged 6% more to finance it. I secured the in-house financing myself and was not charged any additional fees. Once I picked the vehicle up, I noticed the caliper paint was on the brakes. A few days later, I was getting in the slingshot when it started rolling out of my garage and rolled into my car. I figured that I didn't set the emergency brake and put it back in the garage. The next day, the slingshot rolled back and damaged my garage door. I took it to my mechanic, who told me that the e-brake cover had not been properly installed and that one of my calipers had not been screwed back in. The wheels look great, but I was disappointed in how they changed the price, their untruthfulness concerning the financing, and the fact that I had to pay a few hundred dollars for the damage to my garage and my mechanic to correctly install my e-brake cover and caliper. I love the look of the rim, I just hate that they ruined the experience by changing the price and causing other damage.

I typically worry that as a woman I may be treated as not having the knowledge of tires I need to avoid paying too much. That was not the case here! Jose did a great job removing any of those concerns! I do not remember the name of the technician who actually did the work. He did came to me to explain and showed me a graph of the work done on my car. He deserves a big kudos for his dedication, expertise and kindness. Warning to Customers!…read more Be cautious when purchasing tires from this location. I initially bought two new tires, and a couple of months later, I purchased the other two. After six months, I went back to have my tires checked for air, only to be told that one of them needed to be replaced and couldn't be repaired because it wasn't purchased from Discount Tire. I informed the manager that all four tires were bought from their store, and he even pulled up my receipt to confirm it. However, upon further inspection, he claimed that the damaged tire was not from Discount Tire and was older than six months. He also checked their system and found that they didn't even have that specific tire model in stock when I originally purchased mine. This means that despite paying for four brand-new tires, someone at this location installed an old, used tire instead. Make sure to double-check that the tires you paid for are the ones actually installed on your vehicle!
