The people working at the pharmacy here are a joke.!! This is my second time struggling with them, they put up a lunch break sign on their drive thru that says they will be gone for half a hour. I've been waiting here for a hour and a half and still nothing. And mind you this is the second time they have done this, they are very unprofessional and don't care about waisting peoples time. Getting a prescription shouldn't feel like pulling teeth. read more

I am a long-time customer of the King Soopers store in Bennett, Colorado, and I am writing to express concerns about the management of the store since the current store manager, JOHN, assumed his role. As a customer, I have noticed what appears to be a decline in the overall atmosphere and operation of the store. In addition, I have heard concerns from multiple employees who have stated that certain managers are not held accountable for misconduct and that disciplinary issues are not addressed consistently among them. THE MOST CONCERNING ALLEGATION I HAVE HEARD IS THAT THE STORE MANAGER ALLEGEDLY FOLLOWED A FEMALE VENDOR INTO THE RESTROOM. I was also told that this vendor is no longer working at the store. I was not a witness to this incident and cannot verify whether it occurred. However, because of the seriousness of the allegation and the consistency of the concerns among employees I have heard, I believe it should be reviewed to determine whether any inappropriate conduct took place. I understand that I did not witness anything personally but if multiple employees say the same thing I think investigation needs done. I wanted to bring these concerns to everyone's attention so they can be evaluated appropriately. As a loyal customer, I hope King Soopers takes notice of this to maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment for employees, vendors, and customers alike. read more

When this store first came to our area it was good. Lately the produce department has gone down hill. I have experienced low in stock and low quality vegetables. I now make an effort to stop at other markets when I am in Aurora. read more

We're from Ohio and are accustomed to shopping at Kroger. Kroger owns King Soopers which are their Colorado stores. Consequently, we saw a lot a familiar brands and felt almost like home. This particular store was a bit larger than the one back in Ohio, it was well stocked and we were able to find everything we were looking for. I was particularly impressed that they had a "bagger" at each register - really nice customer service. Definitely a good store to visit. read more

Tori in the cheese department is amazing!!! She is so knowledgeable and helpful! Loved the sample she gave me and how friendly she was!

Kingsoopers pharmacy in Bennett, Colorado is the slowest pharmacy I have ever been and that's not me being dramatic. I don't think it's the employees fault, I feel really bad for the people that work in that department for it seems they could use a little bit more staff. Hopefully the management of that department sees this and gets to hiring. I just don't see how such an important department is so deprived. read more

During COVID shutdown, this King Soopers and only this King Soopers became my place to get grocery pickup. I think my order was a consistent 95% complete for two months running. It is a drive but I got to drive by my horse and get on the wide open road. The staff was always polite and would ask if I needed anything else. They would wear their masks and gloves when loading my car. It was nice to have this little bit of security during this time. read more

Zero stars but this site is making me select 1 star. I tried to go the local website of the Bennett King Soopers. I called and spoke with someone at the customer service desk and she seemed like she wasn't going to forward my complaint. I went to the store to get salad items plus other vegetables. Never and I mean never have I seen the produce section so empty. The girl working (late teens or early 20s) was busy chit chatting with a coworker and not working. The cucumbers we're old and wrinkled. I barely found what I needed after going through what is left and a poor selection. I went on through the store to figure out what else I could make for dinner besides meat. About 30 minutes later I went back to the produce hoping I could find what I needed. The girl and her coworker hadn't moved and were still chit chatting. That's her lunch or she should be fired. read more

Every single time we come here we find bugs in our food just FYI. I would never go there for fresh food ever again! Tonight was the last straw. We bought fresh made sandwiches from the deli area and when we removed the bread to add mayo we found dead lady bugs in the sandwiches. There was no "upper management" to help us and James, who was a shopping cart supervisor, was a rude ASS!! He didn't care who we were he had ZERO customer service skills and never even offered a superficial apology! Horrible place! Worth the drive into Denver for another grocery store. 12.29.2020 @5:50 pm spoke with James read more

I used to work here and am still friendly with many of the employees. However, as a family out here who shops here regularly we are disgusted by our produce on a regular basis. We expect to find a small bug here and there because it's produce. It's grown outside. However, on MANY occasions we've bought bell peppers, bagged Brussel sprouts, etc. and find ridiculous amounts of spoilage. We ended up throwing out the entire bag of sprouts after the 20th consecutive sprout we cut was spoiled. We recently bought maybe 5 heads of fresh broccoli, only to throw away 3 of them from spoilage. The 2 heads that we did decide to cut and cook STILL had bugs in it we didn't find until after dishing up- as well as larvae (see pictures). Produce has NEVER been this stores strong suit, and it is extremely disheartening that this is the only corridors option for "fresh" produce. read more

When you live in Bennett, you don't have a ton of options when it comes to your local grocery store. This is my local King Soopers and it gets the job done. ++ Overall the store is tidy and neat. Though around the holidays the aisles get pretty congested with extra displays. ++ There's usually a staff member available if I have any questions or need help locating anything. ++ They feature a decent selection of produce and tend to have good sales on fruits and vegetables that are in season. ++ My caffeine addiction appreciates that there's a Starbucks in this particular King Soopers. After all, there is no other coffee shop in Bennett. -- Unfortunately, I've had a couple issues with the pharmacy not notifying me when a prescription is out of refills. That has been a very frustrating issue on more than one occasion. All in all, this King Soopers location gets the job done. read more

The management is the worst I've ever seen. First have cov-19 the produce dept should have been closed until every open plant be removed. Second the products sitting around in aisles, they should be completed finished or set up wear people can use the aisles. The cleanness of the store is not being done. It's to big for one person. Hiring, that's great you have sign out hiring but you need to hire people. Not wait weeks. These problems slowly fall to upper management. Need to replace it. read more

I love this location everything is always fresh store is clean the staff they are the best it's my favorite king Soopers.

This store is disgusting. There were flies everywhere along with a couple of roaches also. The bathroom was worse with urine on the floor and no soap or way to dry your hands. I decided that was it and left my groceries and went elsewhere. DO NOT SHOP HERE !!!!!!!!!! read more

I have been here a few times, I really enjoy coming to this store, I did not know that it was like a Smiths until a friend told me, and I really enjoy knowing they have lots of great deals, the staff was very nice and informative and they were all asking how I was doing and if I needed any help with anything, or to find anything I needed, this one cashier actually walked around and help me find somethings I needed, thank you all and I will see you all soon. read more

This King Soopers is NOT doing a good job enforcing mask wearing in its' store. All employees were wearing masks but quite a few shoppers were either not wearing masks or wore them around their chins. Do not shop there if you are concerned about getting the virus. read more

My Girlfriend and I walked from Loves Truck Stop to King Soopers, which is directly across the street. We wanted to check it out, I will say this, I will no longer shop at Wal Mart for groceries, especially the one in Stapleton! Mark in the Deli was such a pleasant individual to talk to, of course while he was helping us out. Great Store with Great People! You have my business! read more

We have been going to this king Soopers for many years. They have started their change shortage stupidity. If you are paying cash you have to give them correct change. If not they have to call a manager over to take you to the self checkout to give you your change. My bill was 12.94 and she could not even give me the 6 cents. I own a food business and I can tell you there is NO change shortage. read more

6:30-PM MDT SUNDAY 06/07/2020 I'm one of the out of state truckers that pass through the Bennett, Colorado area from time to time and utilize King Soopers to stock up on needed supplies; and I have always found the employees to be especially helpful and considerate. The store is well laid out and maintained and the selections are excellent. The meat, dairy, deli, and fruit/vegetable departments are outstanding and offer a wide selection of great choices. The only negative thing that I can say about this store is that it isn't located close enough to my home address. Thanks to the manager and employees for providing a great store to shop at. I come through here three or four times a year. I don't live in the area but I love the store. Except for the deli. They must put the most stupid people they have in the deli. Doesn't matter who I deal with they are all of very low intelligence. And they are angry. I never fail to get the dumbest and rudest of the bunch. read more

I live in Denver and work in Strasburg. I will ALWAYS stop by THIS King Soopers over any of the Denver locations!! It is wonderful. No judgement, only smiles from the employees. I usually won't go around 5pm because of the flood of people, I prefer when it's a little calmer. I love the WhooHoo deals and that the cashiers don't sound like robots asking one person after the next how they are doing. Thank you Bennet King Soopers! read more

Little Fuel and beer scam from this King Soopers: The big hoopla here was they are selling beer now as a convenience comparable to the liquor store next door. Also, the fuel that can't be beaten. Well if you notice on the beer cans they went from 3.2 to just 4.2%.The liquor store was concerned a little until that was brought to their attention in 3 local towns close by though word of mouth. They had to laugh! BUSTED! The fuel is a joke! More expensive than the truck stop next door! The fuel points are a scam. Just go to Manilla road 5 miles away or just next door to the Loves and make out better. King Soopers has been busted! The towns have noticed! Your prices suck! Your beer is a joke! Your days of deception are over. Walmart is coming and you will take a hit the likes you cant imagine. Don,t fall for the King Soopers is the only one BS. Make a trip to Tower road. Walmark stomps them. Save your points. Don't spend your money! Drive past them. Don't fall for the pathetic savings. Look at the math when buying the "deals" They kiss your butt knowing they are sucking you dry! read more

I only shop here because it's the only grocery store in town. Usually, I'll drive into Brighton to shop at the King Sooper's there because they aren't assholes. This King Sooper's is always clean and well stocked. Some things seem overpriced, which I don't understand. As a small example, I buy a specific brand of smoked Gouda cheese. In Brighton, it's about $6.00. At this store, it's $10.99 for the same brand, same amount. I guess that's rural life for you. There produce is also not very good. I realize that it must take much longer to deliver produce to this store, but it seems like much of their produce is far too ripe and just doesn't seem to be that great of quality. I've spoken with neighbors in my area and they told me never to buy produce from here, before I had even had the chance to shop there! That's not a good sign! My biggest problem with this store is that the employees are the rudest bunch I've ever encountered. They always look and act pissed off. They take their sweet time asking if they can help you and when they do ask if you need help, they ask in an extremely rude and disrespectful way. They never say anything nicely, never say "thanks for coming in" or "have a good day" - things you'd expect from people in a rural community. The deli counter seems to have the worst of the worst. Basically, they treat their customers like crap. This store has the worst - WORST - customer service of any store I've been to. There is, however, a diamond in the rough. There is a woman that works there named Shanice and she is the only friendly person in the store. She is sweet, kind, helpful and very friendly every time we're there. I feel sorry for her that she has to work in such a hostile environment. And anytime I have the unpleasant task of shopping at this miserable store, I look for her face and it makes the experience slightly more bearable. The store is big. The store is well stocked. The store is clean. But the employees lack personality and have customer service skills that are so poor, I'd rather drive 45 minutes away to the store in Brighton where it seems superior customer service is a top priority. read more

Who would have thought that Eastern Colorado would have such a nice King Soopers in such a small town? The store is clean, friendly and has everything that you would expect for a King Soopers( a newer King Soopers that is, not the old ones that are not as nice and it is not because they are just old) that would be in a city. Definitely the place to go for all of the little town that are in this area! I will keep this place in mind when I am traveling through Eastern Colorado again because I thought Bennet had no store like this to offer! read more

I came out to this location from aurora and this was probably one of the worst costumer service experiences I've had to deal with in a long time. We don't shop here often but usually stop on our way through. This time right before Easter we stopped and the first thing I saw was a big sign that said $1.67 and the bin was full of the best looking strawberries I've seen in years so I pick up three containers. Along the way I also saw large containers of blackberries in front of a sign that said they were on sale for a really good price but when I checked closer the package size didn't match. the sale was for a small package and they only had large packages in front of the sale sign. I didn't think to double check the strawberries I picked up. I went to check out and the strawberries rang up as $4.99!!!!!!!!! so I told the guy watching self check out the sign said $1.67 and he said for raspberries and they are out. soooooo you know you are out of raspberries and false advertise something else. I highly doubt it was a mistake done twice in a small zone. I think they are crooks on purpose. they know people see a good deal and grab BECAUSE we should be able to trust YOU!!!! never again you thieves!!! read more

My favorite grocery store in the greater Denver area! It's not packed, so you can shop without feeling the frenzy that you do in town. The selection is good and the layout makes sense. A couple things to point out: You rarely have to wait in line for check-out. And if the lanes are busy, there is usually always an empty spot or two at the self-check-out stations. There are two Red Boxes at the front of the store, but you'll almost always have to wait in line for these. Red Box must be popular in Bennett. Service is great! At most King Soopers in Denver, I end up bagging my own groceries, but someone always rushes over to bag when I'm at the Bennett King Soopers. They are friendly and strike up a conversation too. read more

I refuse to shop there because they do not enforce customers to wear masks. Before covid I always always shop there. Now I have to go to town where they do enforce it. No excuses. My wife and I just found this store in Bennett and won't shop anywhere else! The staff was friendly and helpful!

Seems like everybody's concerned about the wearing of masks! Personally I could care less! Haven't worn a mask since the beginning. Watch one Monday night football game and you will all realize that masks do not work at all! Even our own government organization OSHA agrees. You are all sheep And will believe anything you hear without question! If you don't like it don't shop there. That will hopefully leave me more creamer. These people are great andDeserve our support. This place is on the higher grade for king soopers, I think mostly because its newer. Its large and clean, with all the other ordinaries that come with soopers. Now its no location like the one off Yosemite with its fancy sushi bar, but I doubt the people out this way care. The employees are very polite and helpful, I also was pleased and very surprised by the large vegetarian frozen foods section considering once again this is a location primarily for the eastern towns, Not exactly a vegetarian hot spot. read more

I love this place, yahoo!!! It's been dead here in Bennett until King Soopers opened. That other Country Store in Byers was just a joke. I'm not reviewing this store as a grocery, but as a highway fuel stop. I guess a bit of explanation is in order. I volunteer for an animal rescue group. About every four to six weeks my turn to drive the transport van to central Kansas comes up. In order to get back to Denver with our rescued critters at a reasonable hour we have to get on the road very early. Ever try to fill a gas tank, get coffee and breakfast, and hit the road when the rest of the city is on their way to work and trying to do the same thing? Twenty miles east of Denver is the sleepy little town of Bennett, with this full size, full service King Soopers grocery store. So instead of fighting the the lines in Denver this is where we get ready for our long drive. Fuel pumps, a bakery, fresh fruit, and even a Starbucks. Twenty minutes after we pull off I-70 we're eastbound and down, with a full gas tank, fresh coffee, and a muffin or two. By the way, I've never found the staff anything but friendly, happy and helpful. Contrary to what the previous reviewer says, there are no a**holes at this store. read more

Not a bad store. Good sales. Meat department some are good and some are not with knowing what they are doing. One star off bc the meat manager told me he called me and left a message. Weird as I purposely do not have my voicemail set up. He supposedly tried to call me to pick up pork fat I had ordered and it was refrigerated not in a freezer. I went in and was a day late as they had to throw it out as it was bad. I had not received any call. His response of calling me and leaving a message, he must of had the wrong phone number or did not call in the first place. Sometimes good close outs on baby items. Otherwise a bit pricey on meds. Yogurt section good and so is the pastry section. Deli is ok. Had issues like... one week they heat up ribs fine to go and the next a person says they don't do that yet they have a microwave if I get the half rack. Got hit in parking lot there as a set up once. Prior damage not reported or claimed and tried to say it was all me. Ended up 45% us. Just watch yourself in front of the liquor store. Sometimes people do not watch when driving up to park. They have femur bones cut up for dogs in the back seafood freezer not at a bad price. Otherwise ok for a stop as only one for miles... read more
