It was a light beer with a surprisingly full flavor profile. The bartender was friendly, and the space was very nice with plenty of TVs indoors to watch college football. I was there a short time and was helped by four people without asking for any help. That is exceptional service! You can buy some inexpensive alcohol here, or you can spend a lot of money, depending on what you want. They have an area where you can recycle your wine corks, which is very green, and they use paper bags. I love this store, and I will definitely be back.

There are also a number of cool spirits I've never tried but felt like I needed to add to my collection, such as Rum made in Oaxaca, MX. Which, by the way, is delicious. We also picked up some excellent Texas-based spirits that they carry. Overall, I give Guru a 10/10 for being just what our area needed and IMO, if you're in Austin you should make the drive and go for a stroll in the store.
