I needed help with some drywall repair and installing a stacked washer and dryer. My tenants caused a flood when they turned the washer on before it was fully installed, causing a flood to my condo and the condo below. One company wanted $2000 just to install dehumidifiers. Drywall had been removed to assess the damage. We let it dry out in place. I then contacted Brandon who responded very quickly. He went out to assess whether additional drywall removal and drying was needed. He advised that everything looked good and then he patched the drywall and finished installing the washer and dryer. I also asked him to look at my water heater to assess whether he thought it needed to be replaced because after this disaster, I want to reduce any risk of further damage to my neighbor below. He was very honest, stating that it was in good condition and he didn't recommend replacing it. I'm very pleased with King Jones Handyman services and I would definitely use them again. Poor Communication, failure to complete the job, never returns calls. His initial work was great, but somewhere he fell off task and left me and family member with trying to find someone to complete the jobs he started. He ordered a window and failed to provide the paperwork for pickup, then wouldn't call back to provide the information only a text saying we could use another referral. Brandon can literally do anything. It has been fantastic finding someone who is not only ultra capable and skilled, but a wonderful guy and easy to work with. From hanging curtains, fixing leaks, repairing bathtubs, and changing light fixtures, Brandon can figure out and fix anything. Can't speak to the quality of his work which is why I didn't leave a 1 star review. I like to be fair. I spoke to Brandon on a Thursday about coming out to do a small job. He told me had a $180 minimum which we were fine with and that he could come the next day at 3pm. I had texted him the requested info the same day. On Friday around 2pm, I called him to confirm his ETA and left a voicemail as well as a text message. Never heard a word back from him. EVER. Disappointed on the No show and no call or follow up. I had a daybed with trundle that needed to be assembled right away, I mean ASAP, because the appointment(s) that I made with "Handy"...and yes I am calling them out because they should never be used. But I wont go hard on them in this review because THIS REVIEW is about Brandon. I was desperate and called him around 8:30 a.m. and he was able to fit me in at 12noon. He was right on time! He had even finished another job early and offered to come earlier. He came in and immediately moved the two heavy boxes to the upstairs bedroom and began working. Then VOILA! It was finished! What a shame that I have to write this terrible review. The owner came, "fixed" my refrigerator by removing a part then I realized the problem persisted. He told me I needed to purchase a new shower head as my broken one couldn't be fixed and said he'd come back and fix it for no extra cost. The first time he could come was three weeks later but I had already paid the $80 minimum service charge so I waited the THREE WEEKS for him to NOT SHOW UP AND NOT CONTACT ME this morning. We are all adults here and schedules are important to all of us. Waisting time to in the end not get what I paid for is ridiculous. I try to support small businesses but this was an $80 waist. Shower not fixed, fridge not fixed, I would definitely not recommend. Really nice guy but business is business. read more

He was on time and the job was kinda tedious due to having a lot of parts, and he finished very close to the time frame given. Unfortunately, it ends there, because I hired him again to do some work inside and that date has come and gone without so much as a phone call. I bought materials for the job and had some schedules changed around to make sure someone was home and I never heard from him again.
