So much character in this little pub off Main St!! Damariscotta is an adorable, quaint little harbor town and this pub fits right in. Whether it be for lunch or dinner the patio or one of the 2 floors of dining room seating are both excellent choices. There is nice bar seating on the patio that looks out theu the alley right to the harbor. This is where we chose to enjoy some suds and cocktails ! Friendly and helpful waitstaff make you feel right at home. The kicker??.... a cup of plain M&M's as a sweet treat with your bill

This place was highly recommended online so we went and tried their appetizers. I really loved their oysters so delicious. It was my husband's favourite oysters. It was so fresh so big so chewy and at the same time so clean and fresh I cannot even explain how delicious the oysters are I would highly recommend coming by here when they have your oyster seasons we really loved we really loved their duck wings. It was so good like so good it was with maple syrup and it was the best duck ever that I've had. I wish I was close by to come here to try their oysters and their duck wings again and again great customer service everybody was so sweet. I love this pub and we will definitely come back here when we come back to Maine again thank you guys so much for the Hospitality

I was traveling with friends and we had just watched the Pumpkinfest parade and decided to grab a bite. Timing is everything. We got in before the crowd hit. Katie was our server and she was an absolute gem. She found out we were mini schnauzer folks and she has two of them. She was very attentive and took care of our table perfectly. I hadn't had any lobster yet, so I ordered the lobster roll. It was a little pricey ($37) and was cold tossed in mayo. I prefer warm with butter but lobster is lobster and I demolished it anyway. I had a Grey Goose Cosmo that was also delicious. Everyone in the party was happy with their choices but I'm sorry, I don't remember what they had. I don't remember what I had with my lobster roll... This was a cute, clean pub with decent decor. Everyone was friendly and inviting. A great stop in our travels through Maine.

Stopped off on the way back from the Pemaquid lighthouse, in search for some of the Damariscotta Oysters I'd heard about. Our group of 8 had a variety of lunch food including oysters and all was happy with our selections. I started with their "Connor and the Gang which was a pint of Guinness and some oysters. Could have eaten a couple of dozen of those beauties but they were a bit pricy. But I must say, they were the best tasting, freshest oysters I've ever had! I also had their Eider burger and added bacon. Very, very tasty. Several of us shared an Eider's Irish Cupcake for dessert. OMG. That was over the top good. A local bakery makes those for them.

Came here in a Wednesday afternoon. We sat outside on a warm day. It is a very old building on a busy street. It needs a facelift inside. Someone appeared quickly to take our drink order I got the blue beer mojito. A friend the strawberry spring and another had a margarita. The drinks were OK. They weren't bad but they weren't great. Then we ordered fish and chips, a Caesar salad with haddock, the tomato and Barata salad, the crabcakes and a burger. The fish and chips were excellent. The french fries were outstanding. I don't know if they were double fried or how they were prepared but they were great. The Caesar salad was excellent and the haddock, although very simply cooked was excellent. my friend who ordered the burger said it was good, but not outstanding. The tomato Barada salad was amazing. There were some sort of tomato basil pesto, and it came with this mountain of fried bread that was just outstanding. I would recommend this restaurant.

They got rid of my favorite (longstanding) mussels with chorizo. Shame! Nuff said - have to add a few characters to make post eligible.

I would love to know where they get the decor for this place. I'd imagine a lot of flea markets (fabulous ones)? It's hard to pick my favorite decor item because there are so many, but it's somewhere between the chairs shaped like hands and the giant silver octopus tentacle under the T.V. Ooo and the corner with all the clowns! Drinks are strong and cheap. The bartenders are friendly. There's a patio, but it's a bit small. There are plenty of comfy chairs/couches. They have live music pretty often, so if that's your thing, you'll be happy there on weekend nights. The only thing is the space is kind of small for live music, so it can get really loud. This is an excellent chill option if you're in Hallowell and want to skip bars that tend to get a bit fratty like The Quarry Taproom. Highly recommend!

Friends of ours wanted to play some pool after we had dinner nearby at Lucky Garden, so we did exactly that. It was a slow night and no one was waiting for the table, so we played about 4 or 5 games and had a lovely time. The decor is awesome, the bar is clean, and the staff were friendly. I've always had a good time here, and I enjoy the artwork too!

I was already in a foul mood, walking in here set me into straight sensory overload. It's a bar where they sing. I am unable to get inebriated enough to enjoy bars where they sing any longer. Call me miserable, maybe I suppose. In addition to the merry old fella belting it out on the mic, we had the joy of having some drunk guy in a large group behind us try and out sing him without a microphone. He even challenged the old guy singing to a form of a duel. Anyway I was so off, I cannot remember anything about my server at all. Nothing. I do remember almost screaming and running out. I sat there trying not to lose it while my wife had the time of her life. Every song made it worse, everyone else is singing, I am dying. When the guy took a break, guess what, dickhead from the crowd goes up and takes over. Shots helped at this point and the weed is kicking in well at this point. Now I'm hungry... My food was inedible and I'm pretty sure incomplete as well. The worst flatbread in the history of flatbreads. C's looked pretty good actually so I am sure her experience was quite different than mine. I hope to never return. '25 - extra

This one is located in downtown Camden and offers some outdoor patio seating with great views. Sea Dog Brewing is by no means in talks of outstanding beers or brewery considering the far superior competition the state of Maine has. Even their most popular blueberry beer tastes much more artificial than you would hope. Sea Dog has been a brewery for a long while but I don't think they have kept up with the quality of craft beer you can find now. Now despite that negative talk overall about their beers I do believe most of the locations do offer quality pub food. You will find a variety of options including sandwiches/burgers, salads, pasta, soups, and more. It's a spot that everyone in your party including picky eaters will find something they want. It does have a lot of space available for dining. Service wise during our visit was alright. Ordering took awhile and time of seeing our server from one time to next took a little while. Food wise I went with Sesame Chicken Bowl and my wife got the Sautéed Lemony Chicken Piccata. Food was alright, my wife's chicken was quite dry. Overall I think it's an alright spot to grab a bite to eat when in Camden. You can likely find better spots but like I mentioned they do offer quite a variety here so give it a shot.
