I look forward to volunteering in the future. The performance was simply incredible! A must see for sure! The upper level of the venue has a display of artwork from local artists which is amazing to share with the public. The location was easy to find. The surrounding streets where there is limited parking is well-lit at nighttime so you feel safe getting to your car. This location and venue is definitely a 5/5.

Since my son lives in Richmond VA they were going to have to space out some lessons over the next couple of months. For me and my wife, we decided to sign-up for a few for more lessons, since we live here in Charlotte, and the first experience was so good. We had taken some previous lessons when we lived in Florida that we quickly dropped. Our instructor Alyona was great at getting us comfortable over the first set of lessons we took as a couple. That was in early December, and now we are both taking couple lessons and single lessons, because we are having a lot of fun. Alyona and her partner Jake are great coaches for me and my wife, because as both professional dancers they know we are there to learn and just have fun, not looking to go pro. The facility is very clean and the entire staff is very friendly. I would recommend this dance studio to anyone who needs lessons or just wants to experience having some fun from a group of folks who love what they are doing. Five Stars for sure

This was my second time visiting and I still came away learning so much more about The Brooklyn Collective and the businesses that are housed here. I know they are not jumping in the air and doing spin turns but some of them are just not ready to focus on tap and ballet. Because the class schedule is 45 minutes, the waiting room is often crowded especially as one class is letting out and another is coming in.

Aine and Colleen have created something truly remarkable in both Charlotte and Greensboro--a school that not only teaches excellent technique and performance, but also fosters a deep sense of community and belonging. They truly get to know each student, challenging them with high expectations in the most supportive and encouraging way. What's especially beautiful to witness is the way the older dancers support and mentor the younger ones. There's a sense of tradition and continuity in watching that unfold, knowing one day our little ones will step into that same role. My daughter has grown so much--not just in her dancing, but in her confidence, resilience, and ability to work as part of a team.
