I got my car back in a little over 2 weeks' time. The door looks great and the inside of my car had been cleaned. I am happy with the results and would recommend their services. However, I still think that their communication could have been better. I got emails and phone calls pretty frequently but they were not that detailed. It was frustrating when they couldn't give even a rough estimate of a completion time. I believe this could be improved upon. I did finally get the website to work (never worked on my cellphone) and I could see the pictures of progress done to my car. When I finally got the site to work on my computer the latest pictures I could see were already eight days old. I feel that even though I did finally get it to work the pictures weren't all that up-to-date. Also it said that it was still on step one, which said that meant that they were getting the estimate, this was incorrect. While it was nice to see the pictures, I still believe that it lacked detail and more information. I also was a little concerned because originally the person who did the estimate on my car said that they would probably put a used door on. I don't know why King collision chose to redo my door that was dented, possibly because it was easier than finding a used door. I never thought to ask but they never said anything about what was on the paperwork about getting a used door. I'm happy with the outcome and I guess that's all that really matters. If I have been told from the start that could take a couple of weeks then I probably would've been a little more understanding but since they couldn't give me even a guess it made it a lot harder to plan how I was going to commute to work. I know that I could've rented a car but I actually left a few things in my trunk that I really needed. I didn't realize that I wouldn't have my car for over 2 weeks! I don't have any idea about what it takes to make repairs to the body of a car. That's why I think it's so important to keep the customer fully informed and to give them more detail when letting them know what the progress is. I understood that they wanted to do the best job that they could but that reason alone was not enough for me. Of course I expect that they do their best and will not rush! That's great! I did have better luck calling directly and asking. I don't remember who I spoke with but a gentleman I spoke to was able to see my car and give me a lot more information then I had been getting previously. Now that I've gone through the entire process, I will know what to expect next time (let's hope there won't be a next time though!) and will rent a car(instead of borrowing someone else's)! I will also be sure to remove all items needed for my job! read more

Did a great job repairing my vehicle but gave me my key back in two pieces. Sent an email and spoke to John who told me that was the way I gave it to them. After assuring him that was not the case he told me there was nothing he would do. Obviously they would have noted on the paperwork if I had given them a broken key. I recently had my Infiniti repaired following a car accident. Both my husband and I have had our vehicles repaired here and they are amazing. They make the rental pick-up as easy as can be. They scheduled the Enterprise reservation and had the car waiting for me before work. Accidents are never fun, but King worked directly with the insurance company and the appraiser and made the process seamless for me. I had warranty work done there on my VW. I found the entire process to be very professional. I was updated on the progress of my car daily and they helped me with my claim with VW as it was not easy to deal with VW corporate. I wish my experience with VW went half as smooth as it did with King. the car that was repaired is my wife's so I rarely drive it. I did notice a minor problem on a Saturday and emailed them, after 5pm. I received a response from one of the owners a half hour later, ON A SATURDAY! it was a very small issue on a 10 year old car so I wasn't expecting much. I was wrong, they set up a time that was convenient for me and repaired it while I waited, they also washed and vacuumed the vehicle. I have had prior autobody work done on other cars and it was never this easy, and with such a high quality of a repair. I would definitely recommend King Collision. read more

I brought my truck here after someone backed into it damaging the front bumper and passenger side fender. First the representative walked out to the vehicle with me and went over everything that they would have to do. Then we set up a time for me to drop off the truck. They had it done within the time frame they gave me and the work was excellent. There were no runs, ripples or swirls in the paint and all the body panels were lined up perfectly. I had a GREAT experience with King Collision. I thought it would be a quick repair from looking externally at the damage but they knew it would take much longer than I expected and they told me that right up front. Their estimate on time it would take to repair was spot on. One issue arose after I picked up my car (they offered to drop it off at my office) and I got about 70 miles away before it started. I left a message after 5 pm on Friday expecting to not hear back until Monday. I got a call from Chris about 30 minutes later and he helped arrange for King to tow my car back to Pembroke and take care of the issue by end of day Monday. I know the issue was a one-off and I expect issues like this to be very infrequent. From what I can tell, they are an upstanding company with great customer service as well as quality work. Have worked with both Pembroke and Plymouth location. The staff is very responsive and took care of dealing with the other insurance company and returning my rental car once my car was finished. I especially like that they post a picture of your car every day so you can see the progress, but they also call you every few days with an update. I would have to say that Kings Collision Center is actually one of the only true companies that actually stands behind not only the work they do but the guarantee they give with it. I was told by a friend of mine that, they did great work so after an accident I had my truck brought there for the repair. When I met with them I was told what was going to be done and I would be updated on the repairs. We'll my truck was done and it just didn't seem right paint looked a different shade, needless to say I wasn't happy with the job. Well let's just say the next day I had to bring my truck back up to them and show them what my issue(s) where. The question they asked was, "What can we do to make this right?" I gave them my opinion and they gave me a date to bring my truck back to correct the issue. We'll I brought it back they fixed the issues, and in all honesty I think my truck had a better paint job than those off the General Motors assembly line, it looked better than it ever has. So when Kings Collision says they want it done right and for the customers to be happy they actually mean what they say and stand behind it. Dropped my car off over 3 weeks ago, they told me 10-14 days. They still can not give me an update. The website still says they are waiting for parts, when I know after talking to them that the parts were in at the beginning of last week. At the end of last week (Thursday), they said there were 4 cars ahead of us, I called today (Tuesday) and there are still 4 cars ahead of us. So here is my story to clear the fog in the air. Had my new car repaired here. Went to pick it up and the new freshly painted bumper had ding in the new paint. They told me to go grab a coffe and come back. Upon my arrival back I see the service advisor using the sample touch up paint they curtiously give you and he is slopping it on the new bumper. I call him out on it. They really thought this would be acceptable. Then I got all sorts of attitude from Mr. King because his guy tried pulling a fast one on me. This happened a while back, I sure hope they have cleaned up their act by now. When you own a business you run into problems, this I understand. I went in for a bumper cover and RF light bezel replacement. They never gave my insurance company the paperwork after 2 weeks of me waiting after going there to get my estimate done. Then I drop my car off on a Sat since I couldn't during M-F, and they get my rental messed up also. I get a piece of crap dodge dart for two and a half weeks, and only got things done when I finally got angry and wrote to a manager. A Chris there did try to help me out, but really didn't do anything. What I mean by that is the morning after I picked my car up at night, I noticed the grill was completely loose. Sure I got my car back a couple days sooner, but why replace the side fender? why replace the grill? I could put my hand over the bumper mark and small scratches on the light bezel. Just replace what's needed. Also, I found the same parts online, $2k overall for that repair? I was never told labor time, what manuals they use, and if I'm ok with that. I used them before once and that was quick, but years ago. The only reason things moved forward is because I got pissed off. Don't get too upset with how slow they are though, or they'll get mad that a customer is upset for them not doing their jobs correctly.
