Disappointing ! I had body work done with King Collision. Quite a bit of money. A selling point for this business is that you can get an annual "detail" every year for free (it's really a glorified car wash). I had the initial body work done at their Pembroke, MA location (though I now live in Plymouth, MA) and presumed that I could have the detailing done at any of their locations....silly me. I went to their Plymouth, MA location a few months ago to make an appointment for detailing and, while they didn't initially want to do the detailing here (they wanted me to go back to Pembroke), they eventually relented and made an appointment for me to have it done here in Plymouth this morning. I showed up on time, after spending 20 minutes emptying out my car. They immediately tried to upsell me on the detailing ("it's just another $99"). I then explained to them that I live locally, but I don't have other transportation and would need a ride, to and from my house. They said that they don't do that. If the free detailing is an incentive for you to consider King Collision, go to Sullivan Brothers Collision, in Kingston, or somewhere else instead. King Collision makes your "free" detailing VERY difficult to obtain....oh, and Sullivan Brother Collision provides courtesy rides (or loaners) for collision work AND detailing ! read more

I h ad used King Collision before and was satisfied. I called a few weeks ago because my new car had some minor repairs that were needed after a small collision. When the adjuster finished with his report it was sent to them. They called me and said the rate they offered to repair the car was insufficient. They said they would contact the appraiser to see if he could adjust. After 2 weeks I was contacted by my agent to say that no one has reached out to them for a renegotiation (which they say is normal and they do all the time). This time when I called King (Brian) was rather rude and now said they don't call Insurance companies to do there job for them!! I will be taking my business to Cape Auto Body. read more

My Honda Passport got rear ended. I called King Collision and they were very professional and thorough. The incredible customer service was nothing that I have experienced from any other body shop. They sent pictures with updates so you could see the progress. We were very patient as parts are hard to find so we understood the wait. Brianna was so informative, kind and knowledgeable. I used King Collision on three separate occassions. All were excellent experiences. For my insurer they coordinated everything, claim, rental car, deductible, it was amazing. They even have an annual clean car program, and detailing. What? Free cleaning service once a year for as long as you own your car? They are amazing, the staff is amazing, the front desk service area is amazing, it is comfortable, extended hours and they work with you on whatever your needs are. Got an estimate of two weeks to repair minor bumper damage and broken tail light. Told "could run to $4-$5,000 if there is hidden damage." Ended up costing $13,000+ and in the shop for six weeks, despite repeated promises that it would be done in a few more days. No parts were ordered until car was in shop for eleven days. Pictures on website rarely updated as promised. Still ordering parts on week five. Everyone was very nice, but the price compared to estimate, the time it took, the broken promises, and incompetence in ordering parts on time made this a disaster. The most reputable, professional collision center on the south shore of Massachusetts. Their customer service is outstanding and accommodated all my needs. They were clear and concise on the process. I needed my car back repaired on a certain date and they delivered on that date I requested. King Collision Centers emails photo updates with the 'stage' your car is in along the way. Every time I called for an update the employees were always upbeat and friendly. Upon pickup I was given a tour in the actual body shop itself and explained the 'assembly' repair process by area. I LOVE this place. My car is my baby; my first huge purchase, and when it got dinged up in a parking lot, they took such good care of me. So friendly and thorough. The front desk staff is so sweet and welcoming. We were offered coffee, various drinks out of the fridge, and we got amazing service. In a week, my car had the back bumper removed, everything fixed, a brand new bumper put on, painted, cleaned in and out, detailed, and returned back to me better than I dropped it off. This is a review for a repair done in the Fall, just getting around to catching up on some of these Yelp reviews. Oddly enough I will say its a bit odd that the only two other reviews are from people with only 1 review and zero followers on here... My 2015 VW Golf had some front end damage and required bumper replacement. The work took a bit longer than promised but that's really no big deal because things come up and insurance companies aren't in a rush to part with cash. The issues started when I got the car back, radio presets were messed with, scratch on passenger side rear door were the two big glaring issues. What it said to me was a kid was messing with the car, who changes presets to hispanic stations when a car is in for service. I hoped that the actual work done was taken a bit more seriously than the employee who handles by brand new car. Well the owner was responsive to my complaint about the scratch and offered to use touchup paint to cover it. I agreed but then work got in the way and I decided I dont want touchup pain all over the car when its not even three months old. This is my fifth VW, they are known for great paint and very hard clear coats, the bumper they resprayed in Reflex Silver has VERY VERY soft paint. In one spot it is peeling from a rock and in another I scraped some snow during storm and there are some deeper gouges that thankfully are at the bottom and cant be seen unless youre looking. I am NOT pleased with the paint used and I am sure its not up to VW's standards. I am not sure if there is a way to let VW know because they claim to be a part of some program approved by VW. At this point I dont know what to do, I want the bumper re-sprayed and the correct paint used and cured properly. There are lots of choices for your body work make sure you look at all your options. read more

I just picked up my car today from an extensive fender bender. It looks and drives great so far. The whole process with King Collision Center was amazing. They went over everything with me and have this wonderful service where you can see pictures of your car as it progresses through the repair.
