It took a while for me to aclimate to the teaching style since I'm an older gent but then I found my groove. You stay quiet and listen when asked if you have any questions speak up and own your mistakes. Everyone's riding was critiqued and we all learned from each others mistakes. It was a rainy last part of the day the Connex provided little shelter for the elements, but to me that was a learning experience too while on the road on a motorcycle. We continue to ride in the rain and with wet sloshing riding gear and I feel this better prepared me for a wet weather riding if it so how happened. The course is a hard-core intermediate range and you are expected to have certain skills beginners beginners please do not take this course. Notes: Prepare snacks, cold water, towel, dress for weather. No time to go to your car during breaks so have your back pack or cooler, bathroom done before class do not eat a big meal and develop your stamina for 5 hrs to 6hrs riding. The intermediate course is not easy as you think the class focuses on turning tight and maneuvering safely a lot. Keep your eyes and ears on the coach during prep on each course, so prepare prepare prepare, afterwards you will be exhilarated on what was accomplished when you get your eval and receiving the cert card.

Those folks couldn't have been any more accommodating or knowledgeable about the subject matter. Our trainer/coach, Paul, did a great job explaining each module in easy to understand plain language. UPDATE July 1, 2025: I submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Strowmatt…read moreadmitted, in writing, that my license was reported to the Medical Advisory Board of the DPS on March 18, 2025. The contract I signed with SRS states that the recommendation was to complete and pass a comprehensive road test with the DPS within 6 months of my evaluation with SRS. My evaluation with SRS was completed on March 10, 2025, which gave me until September 10, 2025 to complete my DPS driving assessment. It was completed and passed in May 2025. Additionally, Mr. Strowmatt wrote in his response to the BBB complaint that errors made by the occupational therapist on my vision assessment were intentionally omitted in the SRS evaluation. Mr. Strowmatt wrote, "Due to this mistake [by the occupational therapist] and Ms. Bouse questioning the validity of the test results, SRS elected to omit the outcome of this evaluation." What else does SRS omit from their records?

I highly recommend going to another driving school because learning the road rules is highly important and it's a matter of your safety. I don't think those instructors at the Khan academy cannot teach, they are just not super responsible I switched to another driving school asap to retake the permit class and driving lessons and just got my license.
