(Overall: D) - Cheaper and less of a crowd than the Panda Express next door, but for good reason. Their orange chicken dupe is all crisped flour -- no chicken -- just imagine eating an sponge soaked with oil... String beans gave better classic comfort food vibes, and the noodles looked like they'd do the same, but instead gave more disappointment. Food (3/5): I ordered the triple set including veggies for the side, brocolli chicken, orange chicken, and teriyaki chicken. Overall the food is decent and comparable to Panda Express. Good for a quick and relatively cheap meal. Service (3/5): Not the friendliest service but the server I got was nice and gave good portions. Since there wasn't a long line, I got my food very quickly. Ambiance (3/5): It's a booth in the mall food court so tons of seating once you get your food. The mall seating is mostly clean but not the nicest looking mall.

One of a large number of choices in the food court in Newport Mall. Had the 2 choice combo with the Honey Lemon Chicken and the Orange Chicken - somewhat similar but both were very good. Good portion size also at a reasonable price. Great choice for a quick meal.

A new addition to the Newport Food court. Pretty much your standard shopping mall food court Chinese food - similar to the Panda Express right next to it. They do have a wider range of options compared to other Chinese / Asian fast food places - Although I'm not sure why it has Cajun in its name... A bit too oily / greasy for my liking.

Service was unreasonably terrible. Not busy, beginning of lunch on a weekend. Caught my attention with a sample, but such a surprisingly small portion given on the vegetable substitution for the noodles or rice.

Lo mein, orange chicken, honey chicken, and bourbon chicken.

Really tasty food! Huge portions and good prices. We prefer this place over "the other one". We love King Cajun!

KOBA Korean BBQ - KOBA Bowl with bulgogi/beef ($19)-- choose from tons of veggie options, rice/noodle/salad based, toppings, and even a fried egg :) yum!

I ordered the vegan kimbap, which consisted of sweet potato, tofu skin, and some other vegetable fillings, in a bed of sticky rice, wrapped by seaweed. It was less than $10 outside of lunch time, which for FiDi is a deal! The service was quick, the staff friendly, and the space clean. I also liked the authentic Korean music and artwork, which gave it a more traditional feel than a standard fast food joint. They have a clean bathroom, too! Overall, I'd recommend this place!

They have a big menu to choose from spanning from fried rice, kimbap, bibimbap, to stews and more. Their signature "make your own bowl" had so many options, came generously portioned, and was so colorful and tasty :D The customization starts with a base: white rice, multigrain rice, japchae (noodles), or salad bases and moves onto a loooong list of toppings. A few of the more interesting ones like bellflower and fern brake roots were sold out when I ordered for dinner. And who else offers a fried egg for no additional charge as a topping? The toppings are yummy by themselves because they are already cooked or marinated. Definitely a great way to get one's vegetables! Proteins include bulgogi, pork belly, garlic chicken, spicy chicken, tofu, and even spicy squid. For kalbi, there's an additional cheese. The bulgogi was well seasoned and hit the spot! A little on the sweeter side but I didn't mind. The texture of the meat is mushier than the usual bulgogi, more of a Philly cheesesteak texture, but tasty nonetheless~ Don't count on this being authentically Korean. The bowls come with sauce options, but everything was so flavorful that I didn't use any! I agree on the hefty portion size; it's enough for a big meal if you're hungry and otherwise two lighter portions. Since the flavors, color, tastes, and flavors were so delightful, I finished it all so don't count on it lasting for multiple meals :) Patrons can order at the kiosks up front or schedule online to pickup. There's plenty of seating that looks fairly comfortable. Service was friendly enough. For more than $20 with tip, it's kind of expensive for a meal, but for the variety, taste, and relative healthiness, this meal was on point!

A vegetarian/vegan friendly dish too! At around 6:30pm on a Saturday there wasn't a line, and the seating was only about a third taken, of the roughly 30ish seats available. Cafeteria-style so no frills here. With only one person in front of me, it only took a few minutes to order and maybe five minutes for my order to be ready. Staff is friendly and fast, making sure to check the level of spiciness for the order. I chose medium and liked the fire without blowing out my taste buds. At $8.45+tax = $9.20 a plate this is a good value for a meal and hits the spot on a hot summer day. Fresh, salty, sweet, savory, sour, slippery, crunchy--all in one bite! Service is minimal. Order at the kiosk and pick up your food from the counter when it's ready. The spicy cumin lamb noodles (N1) is a classic choice. The hand ripped noodles are wonderfully thick and chewy, while the lamb is tender and packed with flavor. The complimentary chili oil and vinegar also let you customize the flavor and kick things up a notch. I also appreciate that they offer restroom to customers and keep the AC nice and cold, especially when many nearby businesses don't do the same. If you are a fan of thick noodles and spice, this is the place for you!

They have such a wide variety of interesting flavours and combinations, so I had a hard time deciding what to get. I ended up getting the honey garlic chicken burger combo and sweet chili chick n pop. The burger was one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had - the bun was light and fluffy, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned with the sweet honey sauce. The fries were pretty solid, but didn't stand out. I really enjoyed the truffle aioli sauce that I chose to come with it! I also loved the sweet chili chick n pop. I got the sauces on the side, but both were super good on their own or combined together. They're perfect little bites of crispy chicken and sauce! I'm super interested in trying the other flavours of fried chicken that they have. Food came delivered super quick - they did forget my drink in my combo, but I assume they might've just not had it.
