With the Aeroseal duct sealing, I believe we have experienced improved airflow resulting in improved winter warmth and summer cooling throughout. Their promises of potential utility savings are understandably vague, Our 35 year old home is well insulated and with quality windows, does not have ducts passing through unheated crawl space or attic. Month to month and even year over year it is hard to precisely measure energy use and savings because each season and year has varying temperatures. However, overall after three years of experience, I believe that sealing ductwork improved our comfort and HVAC efficiency and it was a good longterm investment.

The installation took place exactly on the day it was planned for, another uncommon thing. 4 days later the unit was running smoothly and the house was cool again. Along the way I had a pleasure to watch Andy's artisan ductwork, a beautiful sight to see accompanied by lot's of humor and laughter provided by Gary and Brian. Being a person who does a lot research I found Bryant to be a top notch brand made by Carrier. We were impressed with Quality saleman Timewho was not only friendly than rivals but also quoted a better deal. However in early July 2021, right before the 90 degree weather our central air went out. We called up and talked to Quality on Friday July 2nd and on July 5th they came out and installed both a new Bryant furnance and a new Bryant Central. They removed our old units and expertly installed our new system in the same day. The installlers were supe. Steve & Matt arrived at the promised time and worked very hard in the heat to expertly install the new system and get it up and running. This is one few times my wife and I have bought something and it greatly exceeded our expectations. I recommend Quality Heating and Cooling if you need a furnance or central airconditioner. If I'd known how easy it was, I would have done it earlier. We got 4 bids, from 37,000 to 12,000. We learned a lot from the various reps. ASR was the only one that could answer all our questions-though we only learned the questions by talking to a bunch of people. My property was actually cleaner when they left. The house feels so tight now, looks great. One thing they don't tell you, it is LOUD, especially in a ranch.

Had a roof installed by ASR approximately 13 years ago under my father's name. He passed away…read morethree years after the installation. I recently contacted ASR to request copies of the original contract and warranty. I was told that neither document was available because of a software system change. The only record I received was a receipt showing the installation date and amount paid, and even the last name on that receipt was spelled incorrectly. The lack of the original contract and warranty makes it difficult to verify what work was performed, what materials or terms were included, and what responsibility ASR accepted for the installation. Providing only an incomplete receipt was not an adequate substitute for the original documentation. During the same conversation, the representative told me that the warranty had to be transferred within one year of my father's death. However, I had no way of knowing that ASR had installed the roof until recently, after contacting numerous roofing companies in an effort to identify who had performed the work. I also contacted the city and was told that there is no roofing permit on file for my address. I understand that permit records can depend on the age and circumstances of the work, but the absence of any permit record adds to my concerns about the documentation and history of the installation. The lady representative stated that she had sent the receipt to my home. After waiting approximately three weeks without receiving it, I called back to follow up. I spoke with another employee to determine whether there might be additional information on file and to ask whether my name could be added to my deceased father or have the existing records transferred to me. Rather than assisting with that request, the original lady representative (3 months on the job) was on the phone line with the current representative (3 way call) and accused me of "going behind my back" by speaking with another employee. Her response was unnecessarily hostile, rude and unprofessional and made a reasonable attempt to resolve the matter feel like a personal confrontation on her. I was left feeling dismissed rather than helped. I understand that records can be affected by software changes and that warranties may have specific transfer requirements. However, the missing contract and warranty, the incorrect information on the only receipt provided, the unclear warranty/transfer process, the lack of a permit record, and the poor customer service together left me extremely disappointed. I expected a company that installed such an important part of my home to maintain accurate records and respond to legitimate customer concerns professionally. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to recommend American Standard Roofing.

(Dickensian costumes and literary references, maybe? Ray doesn't do those. But otherwise, it was a stellar experience.) It sounds like he's dealt with a fair number of nervous homeowners; he was especially clear that the small brick chips he cleaned out were not a concern and nothing to worry about. I also appreciate his ethos on wood vs synthetic logs (which I've never trusted) --- he warned me away from the log-in-a-bag stuff left over from the previous owner, which I was planning to chuck anyways. The chimney looks much, much cleaner --- I'll probably have Ray back in the spring to keep it looking that way.

Fast forward to the present and our current home: started off with a leaky pipe fitting. I called Apex, despite Google listing the business as "permanently closed" - I assure you, it is not! He responded in a very timely manner, set very realistic expectations for getting work done, and worked closely with us to make sure our heated driveway didn't get damaged from all the work. We never felt like he was price-gouging or trying to take advantage of us at all. Work was completed in a very timely and professional manner, and all the workers were very pleasant and professional.
