Decided to give King Buffet a try, and wow, what an experience! If you enjoy lukewarm food and the thrill of playing 'guess what this used to be,' this is the place for you. The sushi looked like it had been on a cross-country road trip, and the dessert section was a tribute to the '80s with its jello tower. Food is good quality and impressive variety of choices. I love the hibachi grill as it's fresh-cooked so always hot and fresh. The service is friendly and attentive. This place was very affordable. I believe i paid $21.44 for 2 people. I was just disappointed with the service. Nobody was friendly or attentive. I didn't like the fried rice which made me sad. It needed flavor! I think i only liked the honey chicken. The egg rolls were just ok. I didn't care to try the sushi. I didn't like the frozen yogurt. I don't think I'll return. I've been here a number of times!!! If you want that American take on real Chinese food this is the perfect place to go. My family and I go at least once a month all together. Obviously buffet style so go exactly around dinner time so the food is fresh or right as they open for lunch. Sooooo good! as for the service, the front desk person is normally all business and quick. He is definitely not there to have a conversation but he is still nice. The waitresses are so sweet and gentle. I 100% recommend this place! read more

Decided to try this place out based on reviews on Yelp. Went in with high hopes, left disappointed and hungry. Drab environment, little selection, and not only was the food bland, there was some that was cold. The only thing decent was the crab Rangoon and egg rolls. I had no idea what to expect when I arrived. I was specifically in the mood for a decent Chinese buffet, and was pleased with what I had. I started with soup and appetizers. Their hot and sour was okay, but lacked some heat which I prefer. As far as the rest, (chicken on stick, spring roll and crab rangoon), they were all tasty, especially the chicken. They had a small sushi bar, everything looked okay, but I tend to stay away from sushi that has been sitting out for an indeterminate amount of time. My favorite item on the main buffet were the green beans. They seemed very fresh and not swimming in too much sauce. I tried a little bit of their various other items, nothing blew me away. Food isn't fresh at all, it looked like it had been sitting there for a couple of days. They allowed someone to bring in a dog (Yorkie) without ever asking for service dog identification. They allowed a kid to watch videos on a phone turned all the way up without ever saying anything to the family. Will never go back. read more

Had an early lunch here with mother-in-law and husband. The food was well prepared, fresh, properly hot or cold, and pretty tasty. I love the crab rangoon that tasted baked rather than fried and was crispy and light. The egg foo yung was not swimming in oil like many other buffets. The beef was delicious. It did not have any exotic items but I ate everything I choose and it was very satisfying. This is the 3rd time we have gone for lunch and it is consistent. read more

Place is pretty good, great for those twelve hour days when I get an hour lunch break.

We go here at least once a month. Depending on the time of day will depend on the freshness of the food. It's more busy, but I recommend going during or right before lunch and dinner to get the freshest, dinner especially. The variety is okay, but it doesn't really ever change maybe one item every three months. But it's the only Chinese buffet in town, so it is what it is. Great Wall in Northwood Plaza is the best for non-buffet in town though. read more
