I have not been here in years. Always a great place if you are in mood for Chinese food near the Edgewater Mall. May want to time your visit there. I did not realize when we went. They were about to close. That would explain why they did not have many people there and especially not many vehicles parked there. They explained they recently started to close early because traffic started to die down early during the week days. They have a pretty decent selection of food and taste good. The seating is mainly booth seating. They do offer a good selection of regular table seating. However, they will try to set you in best seats possible. More than likely it will be in a booth. The service is excellent. We never had a bad experience with them. They do not offer fresh fried blue crabs during the day. To my understanding, it is only offer during the dinner time. They offer fresh oysters all day to my understanding. They do not offer napkins at the table. Reach out to your server for more napkins or something else... They offer military discount with valid military ID. No Wi-Fi I can see? Make this part of your dining experience if you are in the area and craving something Asian. read more

I love this Chinese buffet as I've been coming here for over 20 years. It has a nice variety to offer. The restaurant has aged very well with authentic Chinese decorations and paintings. Service has always been great servers are very friendly and inviting. This is mainly a buffet, but it also has an itemized menu that most people don't know about. In terms of Chinese buffets, this one doesn't quite come up to average. It's fine. The employees are nice enough and there's a wide variety of food choices, including sushi. Still the overall quality is a notch below what I've experienced in my travels. I travel for a living and have tried hundreds of Chinese buffets all over the country. It's also not as clean and spotless as I like to see in restaurants that I visit. Most of the food was lukewarm and vegetables were limp and soggy. I had wonton soup which was decent, but could have used more seasoning. I did appreciate that the soup was appropriately hot. The sushi was decent. Kudos to King Buffet for even offering sushi, which is often missing from Chinese buffets. There was a cute little multigrain holder in the shape of a boat and containing some slightly sweet sushi concoction, which was probably the best bite I had in my visit. The price was amazing, not even $11.00 for lunch. How sweet is that? As a healthy eater, I appreciated the baked catfish (a leaner fish would be better) and various veggie and fruit selections, but would have appreciated more healthy choices. They were few and far between. I asked my waitress about the sushi. She didn't know what it was called, but agreed that it was awesome. I think I've been to hundreds of Chinese Buffets in my lifetime. They've certainly all blended together in my brain, and serve similar dishes. I think this place has a higher standard of quality than the average. I ended up eating more Sushi than usual because it was all fresh and slightly spicy. I think this place is better than panda buffet... almost same cheap price. They have seasoned mussles.muscles.. and their sushi they actually have salmon and tuna rather than just version of California roll. They get a lot of repeat customers as it seems they know people coming in. Staff was VERY attentive as well. I suppose I never expect much from a buffet, so I'm rarely super disappointed. It's pretty difficult to find something vegetarian here, but it can be done. Finding vegan food is laughable, but I like a challenge! There were some potatoes and green beans that I could eat. There was plenty of hot, fresh food. All of the sushi had meat or cream cheese or something creamy on top of it. I asked an employee to tell me what was in some of the sushi and when I realized none of it was vegan they made me the equivalent of two small rolls that were vegan (cucumber, avocado, tofu) and brought it out to me on a small plate. That's excellent customer service. The price of a lunch time buffet was $8.25 per person, I believe, and that is what I would have paid for the sushi rolls at an order off the menu restaurant. We ate there on a little vacation last July/Aug. we were so happy to see such a offering. All the great dishes and crab cakes as big as a saucer. We will return next time we are in the area. Pleasant, FRIENDLY and professional!!!! From he moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a very friendly, happy voice from behind the proverbial mask. 2 pts. She then graciously show me to a table, aware of my gate and pace she was extremely polite and even asked if I'd like a cushioned seat along the wall. My behind is bony and lacks the extra cushion most people have and I appreciated her thoughtfulness of putting me at a banquette with Cush. Then the "SPREAD"...massive and very FRESH...cold...and very warm where needed. The food wasn't greasy... everything ...EVERYTHING was delicious. I suppose as an Asian person my expectations for a Chinese buffet place will be a tad higher, but this place disappointed me overall. Yes, the place was very clean, the variety of food was more than I expected, the food trays were never left empty too long, and the lunch price was decent. But I did not find a single food item there that I really liked. None of the food was bad per se, but I don't think I finished a single plate. I just filled up by nibbling to see what each item was like. The flavors were off for me. Being in Mississippi and not having access to all the ingredients necessary to Asian cooking, I allow for a discrepancy in taste or flavor. But there was just something about the food here that I found off-putting. I do think they used a lot of MSG in their food as well. On the good side, their service was very good. But if I were in the mood for a Chinese buffet, I'd much rather go to the Asian section in any of the many casino buffets located around Biloxi. read more

If you have any experience with Asian food that's actually good at all, you know this is typical average to below average Chinese buffet food. The stir fry is not terrible but is extremely unhealthy and has very little seasoning or herbs. The sushi is embarrassingly bad, as expected. And if I kept coming back, I wouldn't be surprised if the seafood eventually gave me diarrhea. Dumplings, egg rolls, etc., are guaranteed to be bland and, in some cases, rather disgusting. The fact that they have crappy pizza on the line, like many other crappy Chinese buffets, is just the icing on their cake.....a cake made out of oils and MSGs. Most people in Biloxi/Gulfport would give this at least 3 stars, I would think. I have high standards for this stuff, so I can't. Still, I'm not going to give them 1 star because this is what I've come to expect from Chinese buffets. Compared to other buffets, this buffet is not great, but could also be much worse. read more

Well worth the money! The peanut chicken and the chicken on a stick was on point! I could see that they were rotating fresh food BUT there were pockets of cold food through out. I did notice about 25% of the food was untouched not sure why... They do give a 10% military and senior discount all day every day! About $10 for a adult and I believe it was about $6 for children. I really hate to give one-star reviews, I really do. It doesn't make me feel like a nice person or give me warm fuzzies. But it's the truth about how I felt dining here. It's not that I'm Asian with high expectations; I love Panda Express if that says anything about my standards for Americanized Chinese food. The highlights of my meal were (1) the green beans - which were fresh and cooked al dente and (2) the soft serve ice cream (I did not risk trying the cones or cookies). And that's about it. There was no sashimi at the sushi station, just rolls and they all the tasted the SAME. No amount of wasabi or soy sauce could improve the flavor. The lo mein and hot and sour soup were edible, as in I won't die from it. I won't continue to badmouth the food since clearly I did not enjoy my meal. I left hungry. Great quality for the value. I was in town for a beach get away and tried this place out. The mini-crabs were very large, tasty and fresh. The sushi was okay. But for the most part, all the foods was fresh. The fruits was very fresh and tasty. They has some very tasty dumplings. I saw other people try the crab legs, they looked pretty big and fresh. I only paid $10.49 for the dinner but with crab legs, its $15.99. I definitely would go back again. The location wasn't really nice because I think its in a bad area of town, so definitely keep an eye on your car in the parking lot! read more

Dinner for two at the buffet was $10.99 a piece plus your drinks usually that would be an OK price $20 for two people no big deal right? Well if you decide to eat the crab legs they charge you $18.99. Of course the price is $18.99 because it's supposedly all you can eat but whenever they load every single bit of their food up with MSG you can't enjoy the food or the price you pay for their food. The crab that I ate were not that fresh and also tasted a bit off. When I or at least a person like myself goes to a sitdown buffet style restaurant I can typically enjoy eating three even four plates of food I take my time and I enjoy it I could not do that it's not possible for me to enjoy eating my food at King buffet because of the amount of MSG that is put in their food as they cook it it is not my kind of place to go $40 on a Monday night for two people and I barely ate two plates and I only ate the equivalent of one crab and was charged 18.99 for it. read more

The food is good, but they were just rude. I have two children (5&2) who ate both ate two plates- when they were finished there were maybe a handful of noodles let between the two. The waitress made a comment about them getting ice cream on the way out without clearing their plates. This is the second time a comment has been made about them not eating everything. First time I let it roll off, and didn't return for a few months. I won't be back. In my opinion it wasn't a excessive amount of leftovers, and they ate more then I expected them too.
