The name has changed to Asian Garden Express. This is one of the better Chinese restaurants we've found in the area. We haven't eaten here in a while so when we ordered, we were told some items weren't available anymore. I love this place. My kids (and myself lol) are very picky and they do a great job allowing us to make whatever substitutions we need. The people working the front of the store are always so polite and they do a great job taking orders over the phone. Time to prepare the food is always super fast too. The food is great and I think the portions of food for the price are fair. I think we have a lot of terrible Chinese places in this area but this is certainly not one of them. read more

The food & service are wonderful!! I always get the same thing. I can't remember the name of the dish but it does start with the word Pad something. I think. It's thin noodles with vegetables and you have a choice of shrimp, chicken, etc. I love the vegetable egg rolls too. It's not a stuffy place. It's very laidback. I like that!! It's in a small L shaped strip mall next to where McDonald's was on Pass Rd. It's kinda hidden, but when you see Exotic Nails you need to turn into that parking lot and it's straight back. One odd thing about the China Garden is they don't have any fortune cookies. I think they need to order some. At the end of the meal I look forward to my fortune. Was here over a year ago, wasn't bad. Tonight ordered 3 entrees 2 dumplings and vegi egg rolls. Came to $70.00. Daughter wasn't even able to eat orange chicken, egg rolls were about 2 inches long. The young lady at the counter was very knowledgeable with the menu. I ordered the Beef & Broccoli. It came with steamed rice and an egg roll. The egg roll was very crispy with a great flavor and the Beef & Broccoli was absolutely delicious. The serving was huge so I had two meals. I will go back again.... read more

Amazing food!! Hole in the wall family ran business. The owner is the chef and the daughters are the waitresses. Very affordable and large servings. However, be prepared, this place gets busy with go go orders so be patient, it is well worth it! read more

Great shrimp fried rice and hot wings combo for $6.98. I didn't care for the egg drop soup, but the spicy wings had a good kick to it. The wait was approximately 15 minutes, however the food was served hot. I saw the buffet line but did not try it and customers were using paper plates and plastic utensils. The young Lieutenants seems to enjoy the buffet line as this place is conveniently right outside gate 7. Friendly lady at the counter. This is probably my go to place when I need my wings fix. The best Chinese restaurant in the area. So glad I have lucked up on it as it is tucked away off the beaten path. Perfect proximity to back gate of Keesler AFB. my new go to for the remainder of the days I have here. I've tried many of their dishes all have superb. The absolutely BEST KEPT SECRET in the Gulf Coast! We had the Japanese style rice dish, the Kung Pao chicken, and the General Tso chicken. Each and everyone was absolutely delicious!! Real food, real flavors, not loaded with MSG or salt, etc. so our blood pressure didn't go up afterwards. My go to. Way more than just Chinese food. In fact, the other items on the menu are way better. Pad Thai is my favorite on the coast. They now have sushi that's pretty darn good. I'm not sure what recipes they use but it doesn't taste authentically Chinese or like Carryout Chinese. It isn't gross but I wouldn't chose it again. I came for the lunch buffet, it was just an average Chinese buffet and not the best I have had. The price was $8.50 for a buffet and a drink which is reasonable. The food was set up in a normal buffet line with the heated water warming devices to keep the food warm. There wasn't a wide variety of food available, most of the dishes were similar and mostly fried/breaded dishes. The food wasn't old but just didn't taste that great, and since it was all similar going back to try something else wasn't that inspiring. They served three different types of soup, I attempted to try the hot & sour soup but it was extreme hot temperature wise, almost to the point that it would scald you if you ate it. Even after I let it cool down it I think the ultra high temperature made it taste bland. While I'm not a huge fan of this place, I would probably go back for lunch since I know what is good and what is not. read more

I get to-go containers and was kindly informed eating utensils are located aside the counter... wait. I thought dine in was a plated meal. No. The garlic brown sauce is watered down and oddly sweet. For this meal I will not return. I will give this place a 2nd try but for another meal on another day. New owners!! And they know what they are doing here. I ate at the store a couple of times before the owners changed and the difference is night and day. This place serves high end food at takeout prices. My favorite Asian restaurant in this area, by far. I get the Combination Singapore noodles or the general's chicken. The crab Rangoon is much better than you would think and I like how rich the egg drop soup is. Definitely not as watered down as others but that may be a preference thing.
