Adding some pics I've taken eating here from the very beginning! Always in point and hitting the fried crabs is a must!

We've heard that this is one of the best Chinese buffets of this level in DFW area and we are so glad we finally went. It stays busy here. We went at about 4 o'clock on a Sunday and we had to wait about 25 minutes. There is a huge variety of old standards for a Chinese food buffet, plus Mongolian grill, sushi, steamed dim sum trays, chocolate fountain, and a variety of soups. There were also items that would be considered more American or Cajun and that's a real nice addition as well. There really is something for everyone. And as far as buffets go of this genre, this is top-tier. Their seafood offerings were huge, and there were quite a few people that were just there for the crab. I noticed a lot of people wearing gloves when they were eating the seafood. I'm not sure if the restaurant provided that or if people brought their own, but I thought that was pretty cool. I definitely would go back here again. Another thing to note is that if you just wanna pick up some to go, they do it by the pound. I love when buffets do that.

This place is now our family favorite! It was our first time. There is a huge parking lot for parking. We came early on a Saturday at 11:25. It was great because once 12 hit there was a line for seating. The staff were friendly and so attentive picking up dirty plates from our table. Where do I begin there is so much variety! There is a sushi station and it's so fresh. The poke is so good. There is dim sum station and loved the sticky rice. I created my own beef noodle with veggies in the hibachi station. You choose your protein, veggies, even sauces that were provided, and seasonings to have off to the cook. He whips it up fresh and it was so good. There is a seafood/salad station. My favorite soup was the spicy fish soup! And the soft shell blu crabs were so good they kept begging them out fresh and piled up high! It went fast nonstop soo good and the seasoning was finger licking good! There were so much variety to choose from. Then the desert station with fruits, fondue station and ice cream. The place is huge and so clean. The prices are affordable per person and the food was fresh! You can also take them to go my pound to fit in a to go box.

4.5 stars. Came here for a celebration of life for my grandmother -- she LIVED for her Chinese buffets. Didn't quite like how unclear our reserved seating section was from the start, but it wasn't that much of a big deal once it was explained. The waiter was just not super nice about it? Could be a language barrier. The variety was nice to satisfy 50 different palates: soups, salads, sushi, Asian buffet foods, Mongolian grill, seafood, American food, and desserts including ice cream, chocolate fondue, Chinese buffet style desserts, and fruits. The price was super affordable for adults: $12.99. We went on New Year's Eve around lunch time. We also had children and 60+ adults that got to eat at a discounted fare. If you're in the area with a large party, I'd recommend giving King Buffet a try.

Food was just ok.Just your typical Chinese buffet.Lots to choose from.Service was good.Waitress would come by frequently to pick up the used plates.Came right at 11 so I highly advise go early to beat the rush.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I give King Buffet two thumbs up. This restaurant used to be a Furs Cafeteria. They totally remodeled the property, and it looks fantastic. It's wide open and can accommodate 400 guests. The food selection was great. About four or five hot food stations had everything from teriyaki chicken to fried crabs to soups. They also had fresh fruit and salad stations, an area to build your bowl, and a dessert station. I was very impressed with the staff. When you left a dirty plate on your table, someone quickly came by to remove it. You don't see stacks of used plates and cups. It is a family ambiance suitable for all ages. My meal was $16, and my mom (a senior) was $14. I felt it was a reasonable price. They also have a carryout option.

We were craving a variety of food, so we decided to try king buffet. We've eaten at the king buffet in Plano which is excellent, so we had some expectations to meet The service and atmosphere were pretty good. I enjoy the Christmas music that was playing. Cons All of the food did not hit for me. Some of the food that looked good did not pop in flavor for me. I felt like a lot of it needed extra seasoning, it was watered down, or it tasted like it was in the fridge for a day. I got a bunch of different sushi and they somehow tasted the same. The best thing was the hibachi which was made fresh and great. There was a crazy buzz in the room that we were in like a speaker wasn't plugged in all the way. It was loud and buzzing in your ear. That definitely ruined the Christmas vibe.

The waiter from the beginning was very welcoming and even explained to us the menu and how everything worked on the all you can eat side. He asked my husband what kind of stuff he liked too and he put in some recommendations he felt he might like. He enjoyed almost all of them too! I like that you have smaller portions so you don't get full so quickly and you are able to try new things. There were some that has less rice and more of the filling which we enjoyed as well. We tried different types of rolls as well as sashimi. We also ordered two drinks on their special menu (one strawberry margarita and one Long Island. Felt more sugar and very little alcohol. Didn't care much for them). Each plate can come with 2- 4 pieces of sushi which is good for shareable. Towards the end we loooved the rolls but by then we were super full. I also attached the receipt of the stuff we ordered. Overall experience was a 4/5. They also had a dessert table which has an assortment of good desserts. We would love to again to try to lunch buffet. (The only issue we had was that there was specs floating at the bottom of the water glass. I'll recommend rinsing before serving) Overall, we loved our experience with the waiter Martin. He made the experience more enjoyable.

That was 3 years ago though, and as of recent I came back to this place after a friend suggested we could give it another shot. I must say, while expectations are low, I was far more impressed than I thought. This place is a bit bigger than neighboring ramen spots, and our server was so interactive, funny and friendly. I like that she actually holds a conversation between me and my friend, in terms of sake recommendations, and being honest on what type of noodles she prefers (I asked her if their straight noodles are good or if I should go for the curly, and she gave me her honest opinion on both, so I went for curly.) She was able to also assist my friend in choosing a better appetizer. I love the bigger variety of drink options, from alcohol to boba milk teas. The curly noodles in the Tonkotsu Ramen was awesome, and the meat's so soft and delicious. My only qualm is that the broth to noodles ratio is a little off; too much broth and it's more watery than other broths I've tasted. Nonetheless, my experience back here went well, and I can definitely see myself coming back here with friends.

Our servers were both great and super helpful. We enjoyed our time greatly.

The fish was cold since they put it on ice, and we had no issues with freshness. I think this was a very good AYCE sushi spot for the price of dinner being $32.99. They had plenty of options on the menu as well.

Okay so I am going to start with the good...super fun setup with the revolving sushi conveyor belt…read morethat brings a variety of choices right by your table. They had a sign that had a name and brief description of each item. Then, behind it would be about three plates. If that description sounds like an item you would like, you just grab the plate off of the belt. The plates are color-coded by price so you know how much you're spending per plate. This concept would be great if you have not tried a lot of sushi and you want to try different things/ options/ combinations. More on the not so positive side... I would say the rolls are average size to smaller than most places I have been... and I do not think that they're as flavorful. On that note, we did not pick any roles that we did not like. We tried all different kinds of things and then ordered from the kiosk at the table and a cool delivery train brings it by the table on a different top track. So Fun!! Our favorite thing we got were the Sesame balls & the tiny crème brûlée at the end. I liked the tropical shrimp one (had mango) and would have gotten a second round but they never had anymore on the belt and I couldn't find it on the kiosk tablet on the table. I tried to get photos of signs and plates we grabbed. I have a few videos too.

They worked incredibly hard and weren't the problem. Management set them up to fail. The restaurant had a strong sewage smell, which made it hard to enjoy the meal. The sushi was very bland and honestly tasted like almost nothing. The plate intake machine wasn't working, only half the restaurant was open, and everything felt disorganized. They really need a digital waitlist system and, most importantly, more staff. I feel bad for the employees because they were doing their best. I hope management gives them the support they deserve.
