Great shopping while in Alaska!! Great gifts for those back home. Staff was amazing. Selling local artists pieces.

Juneau is not short of souvenir shops. There are so many gift shops that there is an anxiety of finding the best gift for the most inexpensive price. Kindred Post doubles as a post office which is convenient because they also sell contemporary, cute & clever postcards. Decor: The store's aesthetic reminded me of an Artists Co-op found in LA's Arts District with different sections of merchandise. The staff was kind enough to help me navigate and find gifts that were made in Juneau. I purchased a fragrant candle and a handful of postcards. I appreciate the organization and items being well kept. Location: I walked through the entire town was ease. There is plenty of eateries close by. Pros: - Super cool and Artisanal merchandise. - Friendly and helpful staff. Cons: - The store can get cramp when its crowded.

Kindred Post is a cute shop with cool finds with unique items in the way of stationary, gifts, shirts, jewelry, art, cards, and more. More like a store I'd find home in Seattle, tailored towards the 15-30 crowd. They also have a full-service post office in this store. Found some great blue geode earrings for $35. They boxed them for me without having to be asked. A lot of the items are handmade and/or locally crafted so the prices match and I think it's reasonable. Saw on their blackboard they have events and contests, too. If I'm back in town, I will revisit.

What a cool shop to find in Juneau! This looks like a shop you'd find in Seattle, Portland or Los Angeles...very hipster!! Many of the things they carry are unique and handmade from local designers, so the price tags match too. They did have some interesting things and I really enjoyed looking around. They also have a post office/mailing service there too, in case you need to mail or ship something out of Juneau.

Purchased hot out of the box!

Beautiful store. Lots of character without being outdated. It's a very fun experience to see people writing post cards back home.

I specifically asked for at least one or more white lilies, her favorite. These are shown on their website under the Memorie bouquet. Not only were there NO lilies of any color, the bouquet looked smaller than their $70 Sympathie bouquet. I told them over the phone in April that the lilies were to be picked up by me upon my arrival and taken to my wife's final resting place and that my wife is a US Navy veteran that died by a disease the VA considers 100% service related who died June 29,2019. I consider the bouquet received to be a disrespect to my wife's memory and her service to our country for which she gave her life. I also consider it despicable that the bouquet delivered had any semblance to the bouquet I ordered. I responded to their request for review they emailed upon delivery and still have not received ANY reply from them a week later. I will never order from them again nor would I recommend this establishment to anyone.

My husband told me he spent over $100 on these and unfortunately I don't think the flowers are worth that price.

Location, it's right in the middle of everything. There's shirts and merchandise hanging from the outside so it's super easy to find. There's another store right before it that looks similar but it's a different store. Erlinda's is the second entrance. There is so much to see. There 's a great variety of shirts for everyone in the family. There's magnets, bottle openers, jewelry, jackets, etc. I love purchasing enamel pins where ever I travel and she had plenty. They were inexpensive compared to all the other stores I visited. I visited about 3x in one day because I couldn't find anything better in variety and price. I purchased 3 shirts, a pin & postcard. My experience was great and I definitely recommend stopping by! My Mom loved her shirt and all thanks to Nonette!

How cute is that?! Originally $11.95, but with the 20% off, I paid $9.56. It is a small shop, but they have a variety and selection of shirts and other gifts. It's also nice that they take credit cards since it is such a small looking mom and pop shop. I think there was a CC min of around $5 though. The cashier that rung us up was super sweet. If not for their outside display, I would have never walked in. Thanks Erlinda for carrying such a cute onsie!

Russia has a significant history to Alaska and getting a bit of it's culture can sometimes come across as unexpected but as you read up on the history you acknowledge the historical influence here. For a town like Juneau learning this culture is educational and in the case of a gift shop... pleasant. I got two items here which I really enjoy. I got a Russian Pecking Paddle game which is a lot of fun to play and I got an ornament of a Russian doll which was awesome to put on the Christmas tree at home. Lots of other intriguing merchandise here reflecting Russian culture. Cool USSR t shirts and lots of wooden dolls to browse over all the way to fine jewelry makes this place (at least for us) to slow down and really appreciate and look at the unique merchandise!

Russian-American Company has five stores in Alaska and seem like the Wal-Mart of Russian tchotchke stores. Too bad they couldn't hire Yakov Smirnoff to be a greeter. Matrushkas (nesting dolls) are the thing to get at House of Russia. They also have Santas, snowmen figurines, and little wooden Christmas trees imported from Russia. They have really nice Russian ornaments. I ended up buying an ornament at Russian-American Company instead though because it was much cheaper than House of Russia's. Yes, I'm a horrible, horrible person.
