She also really cares about what you are saying about how you want your hair to look like, color and cut, and I truly have always been happy with my results- which maybe I'm a diva but that hasn't been the case at other salons. I would definitely recommend and I also think the prices are very fair!

I have been a natural blond, but my hair has darkened over time, so I always look for stylists that are know how to handle blond coloring and hair specifically, which is what Natalia specializes in. Not only that, but she also was educating me on the products she was using and also the process in which it takes to achieve the blond hair color I desired. Furthermore explaining how to properly care for hair that I had damaged and misinformation that I had received to maintain the color (that is, using purple shampoos way too often which are harsh and drying on hair). After an absolute disaster hair color mishap at another salon (left photo), I was reluctant to trust anyone with my hair. I researched every top colorist in denver and found Elly's name repeatedly with rave reviews. I also loved the fact that she's from the mountains and understands the challenge of maintaining hair color and integrity with well water. After an extensive consultation in which she listened patiently to my concerns and we aligned on a realistic path forward, I felt comfortable trusting her with my hair color repair. I could not be happier with the result (right photo) and was relieved to find that my hair actually looked and felt much healthier after my appointment with her. I noticed that some reviews point out the price point at this salon. Let me be a cautionary tale ladies: you get what you pay for. Personally, I appreciate the transparent payment structure (based on actual time in chair) and exceptional talent. But hey, if you want to save $$, you can alway visit the salon whose "balayage" is featured on the left

AVOID THIS PLACE I…read moream absolutely shocked by the pricing and business model here. They charge by the hour, which gives the stylists zero incentive to work efficiently. I have very short hair and only came in for a root touch-up, three highlights, and a quick bang trim. Somehow, the stylist managed to stretch this out into a four-hour process just to rack up a bill of over $500.00. The salon itself is funky, located in the middle of nowhere, and nowhere near worth the premium they are charging. To make matters worse, management is awful and incredibly nasty to deal with. It's pretty clear how they can afford to take their team on extravagant vacations--they are doing it by completely overcharging and taking advantage of their customers. Save your time and your money, and go somewhere else.
