He looked at it and said that he can get it done within 20-30 minutes and shared the cost upfront which surprisingly was very reasonable compared to what I thought it would cost. And long behold, he sure did fix it within 30 minutes. He shared pics of the work performed also, again skilled and honest! I will definitely be recommending people to him as he just does not do jewelry and watch repairs but also sells some pretty nice jewelry and watches. Looks like his shop can get real busy but it is definitely worth the wait.

I'd been going out of my way to WBL to a franchise I will not name, so finding a closer alternative to me and being able to support a small business owner is a huge win. This place is a kiosk right across from the food court. I came in for a new watch battery and was greeted right away by the friendliest guy working in the mall that day. It took only about 10 minutes. They've got some good stuff in the cases to check out, so it could be dangerous to linger, you might end up coming home with some new pieces. The service was super fast, ultra friendly, and the cost was reasonable, along with a one year warranty on the battery. Can't beat that.

Before…read moreI even walked in, I was met outside by one of the owners, a man, who told me he was looking at me from inside and wanted to see what was up. I was on a phone call. He then proceeded to grab my hand, and grab my hand again, this time holding it tightly. And before you say it, Yes. I know the difference between friendly, and not. As I'm inside, I share a similar experience to what I've read from other people -- these overly nice owners were trying to sell someone some 300 dollar Tibetan bowl. But the worst part. As I was checking out, the male owner came in. He walked up to me and put his hand on my lower back, & then proceeded to move it down, grazing my butt. As he did it, his wife stands there across the counter bombarding me with questions. I was shocked, and mortified, and got so anxious so quickly, that the female store owner even recognized it and said, "We're making her nervous with all of our compliments!" Yes. You were making me nervous. Your overcharge, combined with the fact that your husband just touched my ass. Literally --just sexually grazed me. A teenage girl. In front of you. I will never be back again. So wrong. Inappropriate. Fake. Overpriced. Claiming to be buddhists, and yet. This happened. Seriously, a horrible experience.

The repair was excellent and the service was top notch!!! It's hard to find quality service but they exceeded my expectations.

My fiance and I wanted to take the stones from his grandmother's ring and create something that was more my style. My goal was to have something beautiful without breaking the bank. That was my first experience trying to purchase jewelry more than a couple hundred dollars, and a memory that replays in my mind each time I walk into a jewelry store. Fast forward to 15-20 years later... I look forward to walking into the Woodbury Helzberg to get my ring cleaned every 6 months. I've never felt less than an average customer in their store. Even if I walk in looking like a huge mess and their having an event in their store, I'm still met with such warm welcomes and smiles and happiness to help me. I asked if they could just cancel the order. The staff person said that they would do a refund for the full amount. I did not get the shipping fees returned. There was nothing shipped to me: it was out of stock. After multiple calls to the location and to the main customer service phone number (who said they would send me an email with their contact info, which I never received), this is still not resolved. It's not about the money, it's the principle: nothing was mailed to me, so I should not be responsible for paying a shipping fee. I have gotten many things from Helzberg over the years totaling thousands of dollars, but with their lack of integrity for a repeat customer... It actually disappoints me that I have experienced this and will likely never shop there again nor recommend them to others.

I cannot recommend White Bear Lake Jewelers enough, especially their master jeweler, Ben. I wanted…read moreto upgrade my center stone, but because my ring has a unique two-sided tension mount, multiple other jewelers told me it was impossible without destroying the ring. Ben was the only one who found a way. He removed the original tension setting entirely to create a blank canvas, then molded and recreated a brand-new tension setting from scratch specifically designed for my new stone. He managed to do this while keeping the rest of my original ring exactly the same. The result is so seamless that it doesn't look like a modification; it looks like the ring was originally designed this way from day one. Because my ring is over 20 years old with numerous side diamonds, Ben performed a full inspection and caught several issues I hadn't noticed. He secured loose stones and corrected a faulty previous repair, fine-tuning the piece until it was objectively a brand-new ring. Ben was also a great partner in sourcing my diamond. I was very particular about the specific grading specs I wanted, which made it challenging to stay within my budget. He navigated the search and found the perfect stone. If you have a complex vision or a sentimental piece that needs expert care, go see Ben. He exceeded all my expectations.
