I never felt pressured and I was always given a fair strait-forward answer to any questions. The entire team excelled at setting proper expectations with next steps and went the extra mile to accommodate me at the pace I wanted (staying beyond closing just for me). I walked in expecting to briefly window browse and walked out a happy customer!

I have now been told delivery has been pushed back yet again, this time to the end of March. What is even more frustrating than the delay itself is the complete lack of communication and accountability. Phone calls are not returned. No proactive updates are provided. The only way I can get any information at all is by physically showing up at the store in person. That is unacceptable when you have already paid for a machine that was promised months ago. If delivery was going to take this long, that should have been communicated honestly from the beginning. Instead, I have dealt with repeated delays, shifting timelines, and no follow-through. I purchase several machines every year and expect a basic level of professionalism and transparency. Based on this experience, I will never purchase from Baker Motorsports again, and I strongly caution others to carefully consider their options before doing business here.

The repair guy was the ONLY one nice. We made sure we communicated our intent prior to headed to the shop. We let them know and got the "go ahead" prior to loading the 4 wheeler up. We arrived and it was as if we farted in church. Pickup, post repairs, was even worse. Durham traffic caused awful delays. We called ahead to let them know we would be there in 10 minutes and arrived with minutes to spare. Their response, "well...get here or the gates will be locked. Sorry. "Best be here by 5 or no one will be around." We get there at 4:58. Lights off. A guy on a forklift is blocking the back lot entrance to make sure I don't delay him closing the gates. He says nothing and offers me no information. I go in and have to ask multiple times "can I get my key and the Polaris." The nice repair guy gets the key. He tells me it's outside. Where outside? I was just outside. Someone parked it at the other gate around the other gate outside the blocked lot that was already closed up. I begin walking around the shop. Final thoughts: I'll go ANYWHERE else. I guess I'm not a regular, so I won't inconvenience y'all anymore. Forklift dude...I get it. You worked all day. But, come on man. You didn't even leave after getting in your personal truck.

They don't complete the transfer at that location. On top of that, you have to take the unlicenced, untitled scooter to a location in Burlington (which were excellent). This means the bike has to be transported at your own cost. The worse part is that I was lied to so many times, promises made that were not kept. Terrible company

He proceeds to give me the owners number. I'm not inclined to call owners up, but called Carson on the urging of my buddy. Carson ended up simply being one of the kindest gentleman I've met. I worked an incredible deal over the phone and went to the dealership to pick up the bike. Every employee talked about how they love Carson and wouldn't work for anyone else. To me..that's a very good sign. When I finally meet Carson he proceeds to give me his personal cell and says "if you need anything on this bike you call me". A week after getting the bike I call the dealership to ask about inaugural IMRG. Well the bike was "used" (under 100 miles) so the original owner got the inaugural membership. That was all I needed to know and was happy with that. A few days later I get a check in the mail for $45 from the dealership to pay for my first year IMRG. I was beyond impressed!!! Fast forward to a few weeks later and I find an issue with the factory paint. I call Carson to ask if I should work with Polaris and he has me come into dealership. They were unable to fix but he says "leave the bike and I will make it like new". I explain I live 90 miles away and he hands me the keys to a company car. I said that I couldn't do that to them as I am leaving for vacation and he said "no worries. We don't need the car". In speaking with others that have bought their bikes there I've learned my story is not uncommon. One that really impressed me was Carson driving 4 hours away to tow in a gentleman that had an issue. Carson did this after hours, himself, on his own time and nickel. I have purchased over 20 cars and 12 motorcycles and this is by far the best experience I've had!!

I tell them to shut it down if I can't get a written quote. I'm then asked for an email address to "show I'm serious" about buying. I say I'll just move on. If you're going to solicit business on Facebook marketplace, I would think you should be prepared to quote if someone responds to your own listing. I have no idea why providing a phone number or email proves some sort of seriousness. I'm a cash paying customer responding to an ad. Bizarre to me the tactics that salespeople use to avoid just giving a simple quote that would take about 60 seconds.
