I would have loved if they came with some kind of sauce or drizzle, because they were slightly dry and lacking in flavor. Still tasty, but average. It came with a choice of soup or salad, I opted to get both and the ginger dressing was amazing. The clear soup was good too but I also wish it had more flavor. I think we'd come back and definitely try ordering something different. Service was great and they were friendly.

It was very loud so we couldn't really ask the staff about the dishes. Not knowing what to order, we went with the combo plates. I got the Pork Sisig combo, and my husband ordered the Beef Tapa combo. The food was good overall. The flavors reminded us of a mix of Japanese, Chinese and Korean cuisine which was interesting. My sisig was a bit too salty, though. The only thing we weren't big fans of was the veggie rolls. We're still curious to try some of their other dishes so we'll probably give it another shot.

We love coming here for meals! I usually order hibachi steak with mushrooms. The kids' meals are very generous. Kimono in Clemmons has great food and the food is served quickly! The waitstaff is also very friendly and courteous! The price is also very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food! The atmosphere maybe a little bleak, especially compared with the Country Club location, as it is located in a strip mall and has only the front doors for natural lighting. Personally, though, the staff and food is consistently better at the Clemmons location. read more

We were originally planning to hit up our usual AYCE spot in Greensboro but didn't want to deal with the wait, so we decided to try Kimono since it's closer to home. Big mistake. Let's start with the rolls - they're basically rice bombs with a hint of fish somewhere in there. If you're into eating mostly rice with your sushi, then jackpot! But if you're looking for that perfect rice-to-fish ratio and fresh, vibrant flavors that good sushi should have, keep driving. The quality is barely a step above what you'd grab from Harris Teeter's sushi counter, and I'm being generous here. The only saving grace was our server, who was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. But friendly service can't make up for mediocre food, especially when the bill hits $120 for three people. At that price point, you expect way better quality. Bottom line: Save your money and make the drive to a better spot. There are too many good sushi places in the Triad to settle for this. Your wallet (and taste buds) will thank you later.
