So any time I come up to the area I try somewhere that makes goetta. This was a nice neighborhood meat market that makes their own so i had to try it. It was pretty good. They do make it WITHOUT MSG, so if that stuff gives you a headache or if you have to watch your salt intake, they have an option for you! I bought a goetta, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was tasty. If I was nearby, I'd try it again. I also took a few pounds home and cooked it over the next week. Now, back to my search for goetta and on to the next butcher shop! ;)

It's a cute, well-stocked grocery store, and you place your order at the check-in counter just inside the door. Just a few options - which makes it easy! The staff were very nice, the prices were very reasonable, and my tacos were delicious! Authentic, so flavorful, and packed with toppings (no tiny sprinkle of cheese on top like you get at many places). And I didn't end up with heartburn - which is my general barometer of how "real" food is. I will be back. And will order the quesadillas next time!

Essentially for me I had waited too long to eat and the idea of waiting longer was a non starter for me. Sandwiches are not my go to food outside the house, it seems silly on some level. However, the sandwich I had was fantastic and well balanced. There was a good amount of everything without it being too much. Sometimes it's too much. This was great. They also had good, homemade or freshly made sides like potato salad and other salads you could get. It was great.
