The reason for 5 stars is their wonderful customer service. My personal hell is over thinking after a nail appointment, trying to hype myself up to go back in and ask for a correction, and eventually just going to a different salon once I'm due for another pedicure. The automatic kindness when I came into the store will keep me a customer forever. I only had a smalll blank space on my pinky toe that needed to be filled in. Not only did they actively agree to redo any of the nails for free, with smiles and no hesitation (no asking to see the nails beforehand) BUT they also opened 30 minutes early just to make sure they could fix it ASAP and check for any other minor imperfections that could be corrected. And I promise, these were not fake smiles. They were genuinely understanding, not offended by me coming back and focused on my experience and accomodati my schedule. The owner very kindly coached the nail tech through the weirdness of my pinky toes, as it's hard to see where the nail stops. This was my first trip to this salon with new management, and instead of feeling like second priority to the many customers who were clearly regulars, I was welcomed and ENCOURAGED "to always come back any time I'm not 100% happy - they will fix it no problem".

I just returned for a Christmas gel manicure last week. Tressie did a great job. The manicures here are always well done & last 3+ weeks. My only negative is that they tack on a $3 sanitation fee to every bill, and that was added during the pandemic, which was understandable when they went above and beyond with what they had to buy for safety and cleanliness. But sanitation is the nature of a salon business so I wish that that extra $3 fee was not still on there because sometimes it's added into the final price I'm given and I've tipped on it, which in my opinion is not right. I was also surprised that it was an extra $7 for cat eye gel. I do totally understand the extra for nail art, but waving a magnet in front of your nail for a nano-second, $7 seems a little excessive. But I'm guessing it's because that polish costs more than regular gel. Anyway they do a great job here, but they are pricier than other salons in the area. I advise booking well in advance for holidays especially, as finding a walk in slot here is tough.

Some friends of mine go to a salon in Lawrenceville and rave about both the salon itself but also how much they prefer it to dip or acrylic. I wanted to find somewhere closer to my office but was having trouble finding a place that understood what I was asking for (ie, not a gel manicure, but this hard gel). I stumbled on Elle's Beauty Bar during my search and went to the website to see what I could find out. The website was extremely helpful; it explained the different services and what each consisted of. FINALLY!! I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. When I got there, everyone was super friendly, even the other patrons. Kristina did my manicure. I explained as best I could what I was interested in trying. She explained what it was and answered my questions. That done, I showed her a picture of what I wanted to try: a French manicure with each finger a different neon. She was all for it, and we picked out the colors. She asked to see the pic again, and I showed her. I didn't even notice at the time, but later I realized she looked at the photo for like 30 seconds and copied it EXACTLY. The order of the colors on my hand is the same as the photo! I just thought she did it randomly and it totally didn't matter to me either way. What attention to detail!! I love the way they turned out!! Fast forward - I was unable to get back to the salon for a whopping FIVE weeks. And while the mani wasn't looking 100% at that point, it had only completely chipped off of one nail. This was 100% my fault for waiting so long, but I was impressed with how good they still looked, all things considered. I've been back twice since my first visit, and I'm sold. The ladies here are lovely, easy to chat with, and the manicure does not disappoint. Highly recommend this gem tucked away in Cranberry!!

She took her time with me and explained why my nails were the way they were, which I really appreciated. She also helped me pick the perfect color for my skin tone. She was very knowledgeable about warm and cool tones. As someone who already pays attention to what colors complement my skin, I was impressed that she picked up on that so quickly and guided me toward shades that truly worked for me. The inside was super busy, which tells me this place gets a lot of attention, especially being so close to the school. Despite that, I never felt rushed. I definitely plan to keep coming back every few weeks to maintain my nails. It is exciting to finally feel excited again about getting my nails done by someone who clearly knows what they are doing.

When I called to ask about coming in, I was asked to wait a couple hours because they were full. I MUCH prefer honesty like that to salons who cram you in and leave you waiting with false hopes of getting work done. The salon is bright and clean, and as soon as I sat down the manicurist got right to work (sorry, now I'm not remembering her name! ‍). She even gave me tips on a color I was considering - and she was right! It's now been over 2 weeks and they're obviously grown out and needing another touch-up, but they still look great!

Her gel polish ended up coming off after two days, but she also likes to pick her nails. My first set lasted almost four weeks, believe it or not!
