Like I said, I'm not a fan of kimchi. Call it one of the foods I never really grew into eating. Thankfully, Kimchi offers the kimchi on the side rather than right in your face. I'm cool with that. Kimchi's one of those places that's been around forever and it's not hard to see why. My grandfather and mom used to eat at the branch they had at Robinson's Galleria and when we saw one had opened in the food court of SM North EDSA, naturally I had to see if it still held up to our memory of it.
And yes, it's still pretty good.
They have really good beef rib stew and I mean *really good*. The beef is soft and not at all chewy and the sauce is salty-sweet with a hint of spice. Perfect with a cup of rice. My only qualm is that there isn't much of it. I wish there was more, at least but what they give you is enough for the rice and the bean sprouts that go along with it. That and the food's fresh. That's something most people don't associate with food court stalls. read more
