Appointments are on time and I never feel rushed. She is engaged and looks at you as a whole person, not your test results.

Sally Ward is simply the BEST! She was my mother's physician at One Medical until she passed away,…read more2 months past 100 years old. So I accompanied my elderly mother to see Sally whenever she needed medical attention. Sally is good! She listens, has vast medical experience, thinks deeply as to what is best for THIS patient, is friendly, medically up to date, and gives her patient the full time they need in her office. I am so appreciative of the care Dr Ward had professionally and personally given to my mother, that I unreservedly give her a 10+ recommendation. On top of all that, I like her as a person, which I think is important too.

I kept saying there were signs of fatigue and weight. She kept saying I was fine. I went to my annual ob/gyn and told her the same thing. She checked my thyroid, found a lump referred me back to Dr. Ward for a follow up and low and behold, Dr. Ward called me on Christmas Eve to tell me I had thyroid cancer. She referred me to a surgeon who was on vacation and busy until after the holidays. After my surgery, one would think Dr. Ward would care enough to at least follow up. No such doctor here. She is probably a really nice person, but needs more medical experience and to be honest, I am not sure what she was thinking if she was at all returning my email with a call on Christmas Eve to tell me I had cancer.

She makes her patients feel at ease, is very knowledgeable, and gives balanced and measured advice. She also goes above and beyond for her patients...I was in a pickle at this year because I found out my ob/gyn practice didn't accept doulas (they hadn't informed me, and I was 3 weeks away from delivering). Unfortunately most of the other practices were already booked and not accepting new patients. Dr Dijkstra empathized with my predicament, made a few calls and found me a solution. I was relieved and grateful to both her and her staff.

She is seriously brilliant - very up to date with current…read moretrends in medicine and has a wonderful and kind demeanor about her that makes you feel comfortable, trusting of her expertise and in very capable hands. I saw her recently for cardiac symptoms that I was experiencing (as a young and athletic female, I'm not exactly your typical patient who has heart troubles). Dr. Tagliaferri listened to my concerns, asked key questions, and then thoughtfully explained potential diagnoses...it was easy to speak to her and I could clearly understand what she was thinking. I really appreciated that she did not dismiss my concerns because I am an atypical patient; she was very thorough. I am so, so glad I went to see her because I was referred (very quickly due to Dr. Tagliaferri's perseverance - she got my appointment moved up by a week and a half!) to a top-notch cardiologist who is very concerned about ruling out a serious issue. She even told me questions that I should ask the cardiologist! Dr. Tagliaferri really took the time to listen, investigate and understand what I was experiencing and I am truly grateful for her knowledge, compassion, and attentiveness. It makes me feel so much better to know I can put my health in such good hands.

I called several times, and my brother even walked into his office. The employees showed my brother the FMLA paperwork I had sent in, but it wasn't signed until weeks later--after my father had died. Dr. Landfield also would not approve a simple request for hospice care, so we had to go with a less desirable hospice that had a doctor on staff who would take responsibility. I would avoid this doctor at all costs.

We were intentionally double booked. The other woman got to go first because " she would be quick." 40 minutes later, I was still waiting. After I asked the women at the desk about it, they got Dr. Landfield to come talk to me. He asked if there was a problem, so I told him I didn't appreciate waiting 40 minutes because he intentionally double books his appointments. He literally told me to be quiet, and he cancelled our appointment. When I asked a second time about the appointment, he pointed at me and said, " I told you to be quiet." I have never experienced such poor, unprofessional behavior. By the way, the appointment was to discuss a $1000 administrative fee he wanted to charge. He also doesn't return calls. It took three calls just to make the appointment. He also completely ignored other calls. This man seriously needs to retire. I gave him a one star rating. That's only because the scale doesn't go into negative numbers.

Although one might have to wait longer than normal for him - I take a book or usually catch up on reading the news on my mobile whenever I have an appointment - I like to think that this is because he is taking his time with each and every one of his patients, and this is what gets him behind schedule on occasion. After each appointment, I feel comfortable leaving his office having discussed my condition in detail. I like the fact that he records his notes and provides me with a copy after each and every visit. He also makes sure each and every blood test report is sent to me in addition to his office, and he always calls after receipt of each test result. His vast experience has helped him identify the root cause of issues that I feel others would have missed. He also tries to treat the underlying cause of the problem in many different ways, and without immediately prescribing medication as many other newer/younger docs tend to do (in my experience).
