She is a brilliant diagnostician who identified issues before specialists did and even corrected misdiagnoses. Her clinical instincts are impeccable, and her ability to treat the whole person (not just a symptom) is rare in medicine today. Beyond her incredible mind, Dr. Yee truly cared. She listened - really listened - to every concern. I always felt heard, supported, and in incredibly capable hands. While I'm devastated she's moved into concierge medicine, I fully understand her decision. The system doesn't always make space for doctors like her - the ones who take the time, ask the right questions, and treat you like a person, not just a chart. Dr. Yee set the bar impossibly high, and I miss her deeply. If you have the opportunity to be under her care, consider yourself incredibly lucky.

Dr. Tagliaferri listened to my concerns, asked key questions, and then thoughtfully explained potential diagnoses...it was easy to speak to her and I could clearly understand what she was thinking. I really appreciated that she did not dismiss my concerns because I am an atypical patient; she was very thorough. I am so, so glad I went to see her because I was referred (very quickly due to Dr. Tagliaferri's perseverance - she got my appointment moved up by a week and a half!) to a top-notch cardiologist who is very concerned about ruling out a serious issue. She even told me questions that I should ask the cardiologist! Dr. Tagliaferri really took the time to listen, investigate and understand what I was experiencing and I am truly grateful for her knowledge, compassion, and attentiveness. It makes me feel so much better to know I can put my health in such good hands.

She referred me to a surgeon who was on vacation and busy until after the holidays. After my surgery, one would think Dr. Ward would care enough to at least follow up. No such doctor here. She is probably a really nice person, but needs more medical experience and to be honest, I am not sure what she was thinking if she was at all returning my email with a call on Christmas Eve to tell me I had cancer.

I saw Dr. Gonzalez before he left the practice, but my prescription was never sent to the pharmacy. When I called to have the issue resolved, I was told I would need to schedule--and pay for--another full office visit with a different physician just to receive the prescription. My previous appointment cost $429, with $224 out of pocket, so this would have meant spending over $400 for a tube of tretinoin because of an administrative mistake. What disappointed me most was the response from the front desk. When I explained my concerns, the lead staff member dismissively said, "This is healthcare," with no empathy and no attempt to help find a reasonable solution. Mistakes happen, but how a practice responds to them matters. Patients should not have to pay for a second visit to correct an error that wasn't their fault. The office charges a $1,000 annual administrative/concierge fee, yet I have not seen Dr. Landfield in roughly a year. During that time, the office didn't even manage to reschedule my annual physical after it needed to be moved. I eventually started obtaining my prescription elsewhere because dealing with refills through this office had become unnecessarily difficult and unreliable. At this point, all I really wanted from Dr. Landfield was a competent annual physical. I told the office very plainly that I could not justify paying $1,000 every year for what effectively amounts to one physical. I even offered a perfectly reasonable alternative: put me on the calendar for a physical this December, let me pay for the visit through the normal process, and we could go from there. Their response was remarkably straightforward: Dr. Landfield will not see me unless I pay the $1,000 fee. That tells me everything I need to know about the priorities of this practice. What makes the fee particularly difficult to swallow is that my experience with the office has hardly resembled a premium or concierge-level service. I've dealt with administrative mistakes, including something as basic as repeatedly getting my name wrong, problems and delays with prescriptions, and failure to follow through on scheduling. The one thing the office does seem remarkably consistent about is collecting the $1,000 fee. A concierge fee might be defensible if it bought exceptional accessibility, attentive follow-up, flawless administration, or some other meaningful level of service beyond ordinary primary care. That was not my experience. After years as a patient, I was essentially given a choice: pay $1,000 before the doctor will see me for my annual physical, or find another primary care physician. So I'll find another physician. If you are considering this practice, I would strongly recommend asking exactly what the $1,000 annual fee buys you and deciding whether the actual level of service justifies it. In my experience, it absolutely did not.
