I left a jacket to be dry cleaned and a button to be reattached. I prepaid for the service. Tony promised the pick up date would be in three days. I Returned in three days to pick up the jacket. Nothing had been done to the jacket and I was told to return in two days When I returned to pick up the jacket on the second trip I was told by Tony that they had been very busy and they did not have a chance to dry clean the jacket,however the button was reattached. My telephone number, course was on file in their computer system, however, no one took the time to alert me that the jacket would not be ready on time as promised. Yes, they may be nice people, however, they are not competent and they are not respectful toward their customers and their customers time. read more

I am VERY impressed with Kimball Cleaners! I had a cleaners near my home I had used for years but I was looking for something more convenient near the office. was gong to use the cleaners almost literally next door, but I arrived there on night just before close, and they motioned me to come inside rather than use the drop off window (I had a lot of stuff that night!). I said forget it - I will go to this other next door. I am so glad I did because I really like Kimball Cleaners! The fact that Kimball Cleaners is cheaper than old place is a plus as well. However, though cheaper, the quality of their work is great! Their customer service is top notch! On only my second or third visit they remembered my name and did not even need my claim ticket! These guys have been good so far. The only complaint that i have is the shirt collar button area. They cannot seem to get this straight. My last cleaner (in N GA) used to put a plastic holder on each shirt collar and they looked great. I have asked these guys to do this a few times but to no avail. One last chance this week and then we will see. Other than this issue (which, my wife thinks is a non-issue!!) they have been great. UPDATE: 11/09/07: I had complained about the collars and they are now taking care of each shirt collar. Great news for me and most of the guys out there..... read more

I love that they have a drive-through!!!! The prices are incredibly reasonable and the staff is very polite. All I had to do was roll down my back window and without being asked she made it a point to hang up my clothes for me. If you're looking for a new drycleaner in the area, this should be your choice. In addition to having the drive-through, they also have same-day service which is something you can't find in very many drycleaners these days. read more

They have been my dry cleaners for years. The price is reasonable and the clothes turn out great. I've also left money in pockets that have been returned to me, along with notes my husband has had in his pockets. The drive-thru is convenient, they have dog treats, and love my dog. I was amazed that the owner lady remembered me after over a year. I picked this place out of the multitude of nearby cleaners (Master Cleaners is in the shopping center next door) because they got such good reviews on Kudzu (this was before I discovered the wonder that is Yelp!) They have since raised the prices a little over a dollar in the past year, but I would much rather pay around $8.50 to dry clean a dress than $13 in Buckhead (the place my BF uses). Like all cleaners, the fancier the dress, the more it will cost to clean. During my last trip, I dropped off four dresses, one of which had to be handwashed. They charged $8.50 for two of them, $9.50 for the one to be handwashed (I was a bit confused about that... I thought it would be cheaper. I am not sure if they just went ahead and dry cleaned it by mistake) and $10.50 for the last one. The dresses were ready to be picked up after 5pm the next day, which is great. The BF inquired about how much it would be to dry clean button-down shirts -- they charge $1.35. He also asked how much it would be to slim the sides of his shirts. Kimball Cleaners charges $14/shirt. He was amazed at the price since other places he has asked charge around $40/shirt. I can't speak for their alterations work, though. Kimball Cleaners is conveniently close to my parents -- not so much to me -- but if they do a good job, I will keep coming back. read more

I spoke with a gentleman and told him I was on my way and he states they close at 7. I said I am 5 minutes away and I will be there by 6:59 and I just need to pick up my clothes. At exactly 6:59 I pulled in to see him drive away from the back driveway. So, although the drive-through and remembering names is nice, for me customer service is being there for the customer, especially if you close at 7 and a customer states he is coming and does come before the stated close time. There are a lot of cleaners and my search continues for a dry cleaner that is professional and won't shrink my clothes. As far as price goes, Kimball Cleaners is actually a bit more pricy then the competition in the area. read more

Great same day service. Did a great job getting a suit, shirts and several dresses back by 4 pm.

Kimball Cleaners destroyed my dress with chemical stains and then refused to do a thing about it. Domingo a staff member wasted my time when I brought the dress back blaming it on me. He said the stains were everything from sweat ( as if I work out in a silk dress and pumps), to make up, water etc. He actually had the nerve to tell me that if my dress had no stains on it when I turned it in to them that dry cleaning can " bring out hidden stains that I could not see until after". He also told me I should have brought it to a "speciality cleaners". The issue I had there was they are supposed to be that type of cleaners and one would think if the dress could not have been cleaned by them they would just let me know. For everyone out there I am 100% sure my dress was in perfect condition when I brought it to them. I joined yelp just to warn others to Run from this place!!! read more
