She doesn't just ask the standard questions, she digs for things and goes beyond the typical "standard of care" we have all come to expect. (checklists, "blood pressure, weight, ok see you in 6 months" kinda thing) over the last 15 months, i've gone through 5 or 6 GP doctors, but each time I call to set a new appointment, they are always "no longer working there" or else I dont feel like they actually care about my health. When I heard that Candice was opening her own practice, I got SO EXCITED! because now I have a GP that I already know, trust, and can depend upon. When you call her office, you speak to a real person - not a machine. At my visit, a young female Doctor sat with me, and was touching base on what they can provide.Her eye contact was barely there and she talked to me like she was reading off a script! Maybe it just wasn't her day! Well, it surely wasn't mine, that's why I was seeking help! None the less , I choose not to go back because the vibe was very off!! It did not feel personable at all!! Upon check out, I was charged $250 for a 10min chat!!! I was told the $250 would go towards treatment. I asked for a call from Cheryl Abraham within 48 hours, she called from a blocked line on a Saturday. She said in the voicemail that I need to email her so she could call me. ....? Who answers blocked calls on any day and what medical pro calls late afternoon on a weekend with obscure instructions on how to reach her. Ps. It's wasn't until a removed review that suddenly within 20 minutes she emailed me. She accused me of being a person that goes to medical offices simply to give bad reviews. ??? I went to her from a referral for issues relating to my heart. Literally. She prescribed a solution prior to viewing her requested blood work that counteracted with a disclosed heart condition. Like I said. When I had the reaction to her prescription I called her once a day. Never heard back until I put my review online. Still no solution since won't return my calls. I was always polite. Dr. Nikki did recommend medication but she did take the time to recommend holistic ways in which to solve my issue. I get migraines, really really bad migraines and unfortunately medication is often prescribed rather then alternate forms of medication. I've had migraines for two years and haven't seen a doctor until Dr. Nikki. I have a low dosage of migraine medication that I can take before an attack is going to occur. Service wise the doctors office was patient with me as I filled out the new forms for their office and I will be going back because I did feel comfortable with the mostly female staff. Lastly, the office is located in a convenient area from where I work and live.

My many encounters and misdiagnoses from her scared me away from seeing a nurse practitioner for my medical care. I realize that's probably unfair. I'm sure their are some who are qualified to be your main source of care, but for me, it was not her. Some scary things happened to me at this office, including a misdiagnosed case of PCOS, confirmed by a second opinion with an MD. He looked at my labs and said they were misinterpreted by her. I'm glad I had the sense to not believe what she had insisted was true. I would be taking a bunch of unnecessary hormones. If your intuition tells you she is incorrect even if she believes she is, trust yourself and seek out another opinion is my best advice.
