Such a cool place. Tried the Dubai Chocolate as it was recommended and it was delicious. Staff and product were both of high quality. Happy that it's located on St. John's Pass for chocolates, candied apples, candy coated pretzels and hard ice cream. Try it out! read more

The classic smell of fish on a doc is nostalgic but some people despise it. A wide fun store selling lots of flavors of ice cream. Our server was very nice and fast at work. It took a bit to make it but it was all worth it. Very good! read more

I ordered a single scoop of the Blueberry Waffle Cone with hot fudge. The blueberry ice cream was delicious. I didn't like that some of the cone pieces in the ice cream were soggy but it was still good. The hot fudge was also good and there was a lot of it. read more

This place is right on the board walk. Good selection of ice cream choices and surprisingly they have chocolates and caramel apples. The ice cream was great. Would definitely come again. The store is large enough to have indoor seating, yet there's no seating indoors which is why I took a star off. Quick service and an overall nice and well kept shop. read more

The ice cream was great and so was the costumer service. The server was very friendly and served us with a smile on her face. My only complaint is that the ice cream was a little bit pricey, $17 for two waffle cones. The ice cream was very delicious and Kilwins never fails to disappoint. read more

This will forever be my favorite ice cream place. The most creamy and fresh ice cream and waffle cones. The waffle cones are still warm when they hand you your ice cream. Lots of flavors to choose from as well. This place is usually packed but they get you in and out super fast. Not to mention the delicious fresh waffle cone smell that hits you in the face when you first walk in!! Very clean and welcoming establishment. They also have LOTS of different chocolate covered sweets to choose from...and the best caramel apples in town. Always will be a 5 star from me! read more

Still satisfied with Kilwins 3 years later. Felt safe coming into the establishment as everyone wore a mask and it wasn't very busy so it was easy to keep our distance from the other visitors. After sampling a few flavors, I opted for the Kilwins Mud... Very tasty! As mentioned in my first review, I am a huge fan of Ben and Jerry's Dublin Mudslide- this was a close second. Staff was very helpful and patient with us. Great staple to the Johns Pass Boardwalk. Be sure to stop in and try the Kilwin's mud- you'll thank me later ;) read more

Holy ice cream!!! I was in heaven for the short period of time I had the chance to indulge in my marshmellow fudge icecream, sprinkle dipped cone! This icecream was DELICIOUS!! Take my word for it, the marshmellow icecream will only having you wanting more! One of the staff members was pretty mundane in my opinion, especially to be working on the board walk. I said hi with a smile, and she just looked at me and kept cleaning, but... I didn't let it ruin my treat! read more

Great ice cream and friendly service. Chocolate Salted Caramel in a shop-made waffle cone +++++

best service in town from the handsome hunter. Zoey & Savannah were good too I guess...10/10 would definitely recommend.

" you are killing me Larry". The ice cream is amazing. The staff was amazing, minus Larry the owner. This guy is a piece of work I went to pay for my ice cream, I used the tap feature and proceeded to walk out. I was bringing my wife who was with our baby in the car with the AC running, her ice cream Apparently the transaction didn't go through, the sweet employee caught up to me and informed me.. As I was walking back to redo the transaction, Larry abrubtly ran up to me yealling at me and telling me he had it all on camera, and could call the cops. I tried to explain that I did pay, and I didn't realize, it didn't go through.. he stormed off like a teenage girl that didn't get her way. I went back in an completed the transaction. Great customer service Larry. You are a true leader read more

Delicious ice cream at John's Pass. So creamy and rich and soft (in a good way) with a multitude of flavors: pistachio (our choice), marshmallow fudge (our choice), toasted coconut, rum raisin, butter pecan, Mackinac Island fudge, banana, etc. large portion for a single and always get the waffle cone or cup! It is pretty pricey ($6.59 or so for a single in a cone or cup, in a bowl alone it's like $5.59) but consider where you're at... peak tourist attraction read more

Service was fast, ice creams cold, and had good selection of flavors. Is a chain of ice cream and chocolate shops.

I don't get a sweet tooth often, but when I do, I wish I had a Kilwin's nearby. Up until recently I didn't know that there was one closer to us than St. Augustine. When I stumbled on this Kilwin's in Madeira Beach my eyes lit up. I could've told you it was a Kilwin's before I ever saw it, though. The smell of rich fudge floats through the air around their shop, and the scent is nothing short of divine. When I walked in, the horizon was covered in chocolate. Displays filled with an array of confectionary goodies danced in my vision but I already knew what I wanted...chocolate covered marshmallows. If I'd wanted ice cream I could've gotten it from Kilwin's as well. They have two cases full of assorted flavors ripe for the scooping. This particular shop is located on the John's Pass boardwalk, so go grab a few chocolate dipped pretzels and enjoy the view. read more

Ice cream and caramel popcorn were both amazing. The ladies that helped us were very kind. Really great spot for a treat!

I hate buying ice cream out when I can buy a whole carton for the price on one cone. The kids and my sister, however, love this place, so while on vacay, we have to visit. The toasted cheese coconut is the only one my sister eats and the kids love to taste all the new flavors. This time we got a waffle cone of double peanut butter pie and chocolate peanut butter. Both are very tasty. You can't go wrong here, most of the flavors are very good. If you are in doubt, they will give you a taste. Just ask! read more

Yum! Homemade ice cream, chocolates & fudge! What a wonderful variety. We had the salted caramel ice cream that had chucks of chocolate swirled in it. The waffle cone is also handmade, crisp & delicious. My brother had pistachio ice cream with whole pieces of pistachio nuts & my husband had Mackinaw Island fudge ice cream swirled with layers of fudge. All of us enjoyed our ice cream cones. The display cases filled with chocolates & fudge were so tempting. With tummies filled with delicious ice cream, we decided to come back another day. I'm not sure if I'm going to have the chocolate covered Twinkie, chocolate covered Krispie or Mad Dog fudge. read more

I was hooked once I saw the Michigan themed ice creams. However, the taste was not as good as I had imaged. My wife had a candy apple. Candy apples to her is like ice cream to me...love at first sight. Regrettably, she stated her apple tasted old but the overall taste of the candy apple was okay. I tried the Lemon Custard. Why? Well, it was the flavor they were featuring. It was not flavorful. That was disappointing. Our granddaughter loved her vanilla ice cream and sprinkles. The person helping us was professional and friendly. The prices are reasonable for a tourist spot. Despite a couple of negative comments...I'll make like Arnold and "I'll be back." read more

I'm a two scoop kinda girl. Unless I'm at home. Then I'm a carton kind of girl, which is why I don't usually buy ice cream for the house. Today was date day, so we decided on some Bubba Gump, dolphin watching, and Kilwins. I love ice cream. And date day. I will 100% of the time every time get the cake batter mixed with another flavor. This time it was some maple concoction. The medley between the two was phenomenal. The cake batter was mixed with some chocolate cake swirls, and the maple flavor melted in nicely. Kilwins has all kinds of sweet treats inside. The staff is super nice and the service is always great here. I know it's a chain, but I've never been to another location, so I don't have much to compare it to. It's pricey, but it's not an every day destination and their flavors always rock, so I'm happy! read more
