We had an event there on a Monday night with over 100 people, vendors and raffles. Francesco and his staff were beyond professional, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful and spacious. In addition, the food is free of seed oils!! The guests were well taken care of all night and most said they would be back on their own to dine! Francesco was very easy to work with, responsive and helped to ensure the night was perfect. I would highly recommend anyone looking to have dinner, drinks or a private party, book at Killsboro. You will be more than happy with the decision to do so. Went for lunch and was slightly disappointed by the limited food menu. My companion wanted a side of soup and I wanted a side of fries but neither were available. We both ordered their version of grilled cheese as according to the menu, was not traditional grilled cheese...but was the only thing that appealed to us. It was served with chips. It was delicious. For the new Richmond Terrace venue: Went on a Saturday for lunch and to kick off my birthday. We tried to different pizzas, both were delicious but the Elote inspired square pizza was outstanding! We had the shadow boxing beer and the pink spaghett not spaghetti drink with beer and prosecco, very good. The service is outstanding. Was excited to come here since I am not in the area often. Unfortunately, their draft selection was pretty minimal, leading us to order cans when we really wanted to try flights. Neighborhoody brewery. Great tap list with at least a dozen beers. Excellent variety; I don't think any styles repeated. I had a Pilsner and a hazy ipa. Thought both were great. They have a back yard with benches and some outdoor furniture plus a large outdoor dining shed on the street. Plenty of indoor seating too. I only noticed one restroom which was gender neutral and handicap accessible. They have a full kitchen too with your typical brewpub fare. I had a cheeseburger. Solid burger and a good size. i wish this place understood their audience. been drinking kills boro for years and cant understand why they turned a brewery concept into an expensive mid at best italian place. staten island is full of good italian places and this food was lousy. finally tried this place with my wife and i was let down. tried several of the pizzas and all of them were bad. the sicilian pizza is just an overpriced focaccia bread. way too thick and doughy and not a pizza. and they either confused our meatball pie with sausage or never tasted a meatball before. tiny little pies were $30. the thin crust pizza was floppy. really disappointing. tried a pasta with truffle and mushrooms and it was bland. no flavor, couldn't taste any truffle. beer is always good and the cocktails were good ...but not $19 good. why is there a $45 bronzino on a brewery menu who is ordering that??? for the price and quality i wont ever come back to this place for food again which is sad since their beer is such a SI staple. i wish they went with pub food or something more in line with what a beer joint should be because this sucked. read more

This place has some amazing beers. I tried sweet nothing and Island vibes and they were both exceptional. I picked up from kills boro but I also saw they carry some beers at Trader Joe's! I honestly can not say enough good things about this place. There outdoor seating is ample. I wish they carried more merch! Highly recommend coming here. read more

Tasted some beers at Kills Boro Brewing on Saturday afternoon. A solid spot for IPAs, but was looking for a little more from my other selections. Quality: During our visit to Kills Boro Brewing we ordered two Flights. The first included Soppressata, Lapse of Judgement, Apropos, and Plain Jane Plum, and the second had Island Vibes, Kansas City Shuffle, Gimme Gimme MOAR, and Megalodon. It was an IPA heavy draft list, which were the better beers they had. I was confused about Plain Jane Plum, which seemed like it may have been mislabeled, and I was not crazy about Megalodon, the imperial stout. Still relatively young, they are only likely to get better. Quantity: Pour sizes are clearly denoted on the menu. Value: $6-$9 for Draft Beers. Ambiance: Kills Boro Brewing shares its Staten Island location with a restaurant called Craft House. They have an outdoor structure in front, a bar area, a seating area, and an additional back patio with picnic tables. The bar area had multiple televisions. In the background a mix of old-school hip-hop played. Crowd: Lingerers from a prior party kept the brewery busy. Service: A little overwhelmed from a large group, but very friendly. I recently came to this brewery, as a friend was playing a live show in their outdoor section. This place seemed nice. I came with my girlfriend and we met a bunch of friends inside. It was a typical setup containing a bar section, an inside table section, and an outdoor seating section. We started out hanging at the bar section and ordered a few of their beers. They had at least 12 different draft choices, which was cool. I really enjoyed their IPA offerings, especially the island vibes ones. Their stout was pretty decent too. (Yoy can also purchase 4 packs of beers to go). We came on a Friday evening and it was semi crowed, but the place was a nice size and we didn't feel cramped at all. The only food item I ordered was the brisket nachos, and they were excellent. I would definitely come back to try some other food items, as the food looked really good from what I saw, especially their BBQ menu items. Their outdoor section was a nice size, and their stage setup was away from the tables. The live music sounded great here too. Overall, a very nice brewery. read more

Delicious dinner and yummy brews at Kills Boro/Charter House! My husband and I stopped in here on the later side and tried a few brews and some dinner and dessert. We both got dark beers; Finest Hour was an earthy stout, and my favorite was the Packed Bowl breakfast stout, wonderful aroma and flavors that expanded as the beer warmed. The bbq was amazing! Hubby got the ribs and spicy collard greens, and I had the pulled chicken wontons (they were out of the brisket). The spices were perfect, and not oversalted like many restaurants tend to do. And then.... Dessert. We heard from the really friendly host that the owner had taken 9 months to perfect his waffle recipe. The chocolate fudge brownie waffle was incredible... Cocoa bitterness without being over sweet, and the ice cream and drizzle added to the deliciousness The host was so affable and helpful, he kept checking in on us and guiding us through the beer and food choices. This place was well off the beaten path but worth the trek through the sketchy neighborhood. Trish was an amazing bartender and immediately greeted us with a smile. We were only going to get one beer and hop back on the ferry, but we stayed quite a bit longer. The beer was fantastic on all fronts and after seeing Trish make a Bloody Mary by hand with the spicy beans and crunchy bacon, it was a non decision at that point. My fiancé also ended up getting a $$ pastry stout only available in a can because of how great the entire experience was. If you can find this hole in the wall gem I promise you will not be disappointed. Finally we traded our home brewery's sticker for some of theirs and some can labels that were all created and drawn by one of the brewers. As we head back south we are sad we couldn't spend more time at this amazing brewery. It will be an experience you share with friends and family for a long time...until next time. read more
