First things first, Alex is the best and really is great at making you feel welcome. We got here a little late in the day and I was exhausted but he got me in quick and efficiently. This hotel is just ok though. The rooms are a little dull but clean. I am very thankful for the upgrade but the room had a layout I had to get used to. We booked this hotel on AirBNB, so I didn't even realize we were staying at hotel until we drove up. I guess AirBNB does that now. It's decent room, clean but cold (overly air-conditioned). The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Not much else to say about this as a hotel room. Staff were super-friendly Cons 1. there is a $10 a night extra charge for the parking lot. Maybe in the winter that is an issue as I am sure this place gets packed. But we were there in August and the parking lot was half full. Seemed gratuitous and a money grab. 2. The coffee is not free. I understand that breakfast is not free, but I suspect that most Hiltons have complimentary coffee in the morning. 3. No pool. But the hot-tub was pretty huge. read more

What a horror show. We check in and try to take a shower -- ice cold water. I call the front desk and am told hot water is out but we are working on it. Why no tell me this when I checked in? This is fixed by 9pm at night, good. Told I would be given a room credit for the inconvenience, good. Bad that when I checked out because I booked thru expedia I had to call expedia then if they call the hotel maybe they agree to a credit. What nonsense. Also, two bath towels to a room, so one a piece? For a Hilton? Next the room thermostat is locked down. You cannot change the temperature? Better accommodations at Motel 6 than this place. Hmm, maybe we are insufficiently discriminating, but we quite enjoyed our stay at KML, unlike many other reviewers, it seems: What we loved: - The pup-friendly policies and staff; - Proximity to Killington for skiing; - Chic decor and fireplaces; - The 20-person large, outdoor hot tub; - Pleasant common areas and bar where children, dogs and adults could gather comfortably; - Comfortable beds; - Either excellent sound proofing or great neighbors during our visit as we heard nary a peep at night; and - Proximity to fairly good restaurants and bakeries, and even a small grocery / "beer cave" down the road. If you're willing to drive, there's far more variety to be had in nearby Rutland. We were sad that the indoor pool was closed and that a fairly basic breakfast was $25 extra per adult (something less than that for children). There is a small Starbucks stand and tiny market downstairs in the lobby, though, and a great bakery just a quarter of a mile away. There were effective blackout curtains in our windows / door to the balcony, which could theoretically allow you to sleep in. But given that we were traveling with our pup, the moment the kitchen began frying up bacon in the morning, the doggie alarm clock had us up. (Bacon = puppy drool / face licking / tail thumping = early mornings at the ski mountain.) The exercise room is small with just two treadmills and some other miscellaneous equipment (bikes?). This gave us an excellent excuse not to exercise. Note: They may be understaffed right now. We had cleaning service on one day of our stay, but not on the others, though we were out of the room from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. or so each day. This wasn't a huge deal for us, but I suspect it may be an issue for some others. read more

I read the reviews for this property as we were en route to stay there, because my Husband booked it and not me, so I was dreading the stay. I was actually pleasantly surprised. Yes, there is wear and tear in the rooms and they could use some updating for stains that won't clean anymore, but they were also spacious and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and fresh looking. They did forget to put towels in one of the rooms, but promptly provided some on request. The staff we encountered were all kind and the property had a nice ski-lodge feel. Other guests seemed to be really enjoying the community game room and very large hot tub. They now charge $14 to park in a half filled lot. The sidewalks are very slippery. I arrived for breakfast at 6:57 on Tuesday, the woman working was completely overwhelmed by 7:04, the breakfast is no longer free and there's many better options for the money close by. I asked for hot sauce and was told "we have to wait for housekeeping to clean the rooms because people take the hot sauce so we are out now but housekeeping collects them from the rooms and we have them again". My breakfast burrito took 30 min and was no better than a microwaved burrito at a convenience store. The rooms are cold and the hot water goes out quite often. The housekeeping crew were outside my hallway for hours and they are very loud. I turned my tv to full volume but could still hear the staff in the hall yelling at each other in Spanish and Jamaican creole. The desk called my room a let it ring for a real long time. I went to the desk to inquire re the call and was told "we wanted to make sure that you aren't smoking pot in your room, there's been complaints. I don't smoke pot I told her but the guys across the hall do, they are doing it now, the entire hall reeks of weed, she replied "We know" and smiled read more

I enrolled in the Hilton Honors reward program about 10 years ago, and since then I usually choose a Hilton hotel when convenient. I have never been disappointed until I arrived at the Killington Mountain Lodge. The hotel is dated. Everything about it seems to scream "bare minimum". Our room had a private balcony, but there were no chairs out there. In fact, there was only one chair in the room for two people. There was no alarm clock, no lamp bright enough to read by, no guest services directory, nor any sign of a QR code where I could obtain that information. The bathroom sink took over an hour to drain. What I found most annoying was the $10 per night parking charge - this to use a lot that is high up in the mountains in the middle of nowhere. On the plus side, I have to say that every employee we met was friendly, polite, and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and we spent an enjoyable evening in the lounge. Sadly, those plusses were not enough to offset all of the minuses. In all honesty, I could not recommend this hotel. read more

Decent sized hotel right next to Killington ski area. There's nothing special about the rooms or amenities, the proximity to the mountain is the draw. We went in February of 2022, so I'm going to give them a pass of being lightly staffed. Half the time I went by the front desk I had to wait for someone to notice me. The restaurant and bar were closed and there was no maid service in the rooms. All of this was during peak season. They have a large outdoor hot tub that was open and I was glad for the relief of sorely worked legs after a day of skiing. The indoor pool was closed and drained as many other hotels during the pandemic. I'd guess about 2/3rds of rooms have balconies but calling them balconies is a bit grandiose. They're more like walkways about 4 feet wide that just about fit a chair. It's not a bad place, but next time I'll look around to see if there are better alternatives. read more

Killington Mountain Lodge, Time there was 6 days in April. We checked in late Saturday afternoon after a 10 hour drive from Baltimore. And keep in mind too that we had a little dog in tow too. Now please keep in mind that before we headed to KML, I looked at the reviews for this 3-star lodge and there were many mixed reviews. Enough mixed reviews/opinions that I planned accordingly to bring our own water, our own sheets/pillow, I mean we were prepped for any of the conditions the reviewers cited. We parked the car in the parking lot, although it had snowed LOTS recently, the lot was cleared! We parked easily enough and checked in at the front desk where we were greeted nicely by an individual who checked us in smoothly enough. So far, so good. We made it to our room and quickly unloaded and inspected the place. Sheets clean and crisp, the pillows fluffy and clean, the bathroom sparkling! Even had the little complimentary soaps and lotions. Big televisions in each room, with select networks available too. Netflix, ESPN, you get the idea. Free Wi-Fi, easy to connect and actually stays connected for the duration you're in the building (unlike other places) and the balcony (we were on the top, third floor) was nice too although we were on the corner facing the road so the view was so-so. Oh I gotta mention, the heat and air unit worked amazing for our whole stay! Unlike other places that take forever to cool the place down or heat it up. And the time we were there the temps got as cold as 20 something at night, to 60 something in the days, so we needed both heat and AC! lol. We unloaded and started to consider dinner. They have a bar and a grill/restaurant there, so of course we opted to get some food. And the food was good. The Chef was rather personable as were the bartenders too. The food was good... and the drinks were on-point too (White Russian, Whiskey sour for me, a Shirley Temple for the wife). I think the first night we had pasta & marinara. And the view from the bar to the steam from the hot tub, and beyond that a nice view of a golf course that is behind the Lodge. So far, I have found that the negative reviews were way off, but in their defense, Between Aug '23 and maybe Feb '24 this place was in transition (Hilton, I think, took 'em over and started fixing the place up). Throughout the next 5 days we fould consistency at this place. The people were friendly (Eddie, the dog, pretty much adopted most of the crew there lol) and we chatted it up here and there. The Chef went out of his way to help with a special request too, without a single grumble or complaint. The housecleaning crew, you always saw them busy from one point to another, but not quite busy enough to say Hello. They have a breakfast buffet that cost I think $25... sign posted at the front door so you're not caught off guard. I did not care for the buffet though as it was too limited for the price. That is negative 1 or like 4 negatives... 1: buffet, meh. 2: only one elevator (they have a second but I think it's more for cleaning crew) 3: really need to re-stripe the parking lot to see parking lanes 4: No closets in the room (no seriously, lol). So as not to ramble much more, food was really good (definitely a meat place (Steak, prime rib) but also veggie availability too), availability and consistency spot on with the whole crew, cleanliness aces, Starbucks in the lobby (limited hours) and some great restaurants and such in the area from steak, to Tapas, to chicken, and even a nice store at the bottom of the hill that has a deli, bakery and is an actual small grocery store and the prices decent. Beds were sssooo comfy as was the blankets & pillows, the walls are thick (didn't hear the neighbors or the street noise). It's a nice place to stay, don't let the negative reviews scare you away. read more

We ended up here when there was an emergency at our Hampton Inn in Rutland forcing everyone to evacuate overnight. (Aside from this emergency - which was NOT created by the hotel - everything about the HI was superior to this Tapestry). So we checked in late (close to 11pm) with nothing but the clothes on our backs. I will say the hotel was able to provide us with toothbrushes/toothpaste which is probably the last positive thing I will be able to say. We ended up in a 2 bedroom room. When you first enter the room there is a rather large but doorless closet.....guess it would have sufficed had we had anything to hang but it was oddly painted an obnoxious hot pink color that you couldn't get away from. In the main bedroom area there was the standard bed, desk, desk chair etc. The main issue was the curtains which where the type the pull side to side. Except they didn't close fully because the curtain rod was much shorter than the window. Not just a hair.....I mean several inches. There was a balcony that faced the main street & part of the parking lot and was really too narrow to be useful. The second bedroom had no door. Just a very thin (you could easily see thru it esp with lights on in the evening) curtain covering the door. It was inside mounted in the door frame so there was a tiny gap on either side of the curtain which let light in. But mostly was the length of the curtain. It came only to about my knees at most leaving a huge gap at the bottom of the curtain. There would be zero privacy in this room so be forewarned. The bathroom seemed clean enough and was pretty standard. There was also a mini fridge and microwave but we didn't use them. If the room weren't bad enough, breakfast was just an insult. It is $25 per person for a buffet (no option for a cooked breakfast). We had the exact same breakfast at the Hampton Inn for free!! And, there was NO service. You seat yourself and there is a little table where you "pay" by signing a little sip of paper they leave there for your "convenience". There was at some point a "hostess" who did absolutely nothing except chat with some guy who apparently worked at the hotel someplace as he had the same style name badge. Not when someone came out from the kitchen to check on the food nor when some admin type came thru (more on that in a moment) nor when some guests came in to eat did they even for one second pause their conversation. As for the admin guy (I'm guessing by his clothing and demeanor on that).......he came thru with a huge (I mean 60+ oz) coffee mug and filled it from the guest coffee urn, fully depleting it (and not bothering to tell anyone he ran it dry). When I went to refill our coffee cups there was not one drop. I had the nerve to ask the "hostess" if we might get some more coffee and her response was that I should go downstairs to the Starbucks and get more there!!!!! And by the way there was only regular coffee (no decaf and no hot water that I could find). All in all one of the worst Hilton experiences we have ever had. And this location has such potential to be something special. read more

We were in Vermont with a group of family members for a wedding. We reserved 6 rooms total. None were acceptable, and some had not been cleaned before or during our stay. There were over flowing trash cans in the front vestibule. Rooms weren't ready @ 5pm, got 1/3 of our rooms just so we could quickly change before the welcome party Fri night with limited/ no towels Housekeeping had walked out that day (who would blame them?) Floors filthy/rugs filthy All surfaces very dusty when we had requested 3 "pet free" rooms due to our allergies, which were confirmed the week previous. Bathroom: Dirty toilet Filthy floor Bathroom door does not close/ latch so remained open 6" when in use - not acceptable! 1/8 of a roll of Toilet paper - went to desk next day to get more. No toiletries at all except 1bar of soap Tub doesn't drain - this was DISGUSTING as we were standing in filthy, ankle deep water trying to shower as quickly as possible for a the wedding. Reception said that was being addressed right away- no one ever came, same issue day 2 Requested they vacuum the room only on day 2- didn't seem to be done Got our own towels - stained/dirty bath mat Non potable water in the hotel! Bottled provided The staff at reception had a very difficult job and were trying their best with many irate guests. We really felt badly for them, but the problems were beyond their capabilities. The Hilton corporation should be ashamed of themselves, and this property, to let it remain open and frankly UNSAFE for guests to inhabit. With the recent surge in Covid cases, this lack of cleanliness is appalling and if we had other options, we wouldn't have stayed. One positive - the sheets seemed clean and the bed was comfortable. For the $380 spent on a single night is this place you could have had a far superior experience for two night in any Holiday Inn or Best Western in the world. The shower head in our room is so full of crud that it barely works. There is a window screen in the corner of our room for no apparent reason. The continental breakfast is oatmeal, oranges and yogurt. That's it. The Hot water carafe was full, but did not work. So much for oatmeal. The coffee tasted like it was made with water from our shower head and a week old mop bucket. We called the front desk (cause it was unattended) and they said "we know" when we told them about the hot water and coffee, and "it's a continental breakfast..." when we told them that they only had oranges oatmeal and yogurt. Holiday Inn in Killington has eggs, waffles, pastries, bagels, toast, coffee, juice, tea and hot water as well as snack bars to take with you. The Mountain Lodge staff should spend a night there. Oh and this was Saturday morning at 7:30 am. I could see if it was monday, but Saturday morning in Killington during ski season! Are you kidding me? an unattended desk and a breakfast spread that a death row inmate would turn his nose up at is your idea of service? For $380 a night? My girlfriend and I booked a reservation to stay here and were told at the front desk upon arrival after a weather delay that they had cancelled our booking. We called many times the night before to inquire about the reservation, but the phones were left unanswered, they did not even have an option to leave a message. We were told that day we would be able to get a refund but this has been anything but true. The hotel seldom answered calls and would be completely unclear with my girlfriend about whom she needed to contact, since this was a Booking reservation. The booking was made in February, and we are still dealing with this in May. After much frustration, I finally called the hotel and was treated horribly by their staff member Kyle. We were told we would get a refund, but he claimed that because we did not buy travel insurance--from whom the insurance was from I was not informed--so we would be unable to receive the refund. The hotel could also not locate our reservation, so I have no idea how they found such a small and erroneous clause when Booking called with the intention of refunding our money. Kyle then claimed he was transferring me to a corporate line and proceeded to transfer me to the messaging machine of an individual which was clearly not an upper-level manager at Hilton. My phone calls were then not answered. I am absolutely appalled at this treatment. To sum up, the hotel would not answer our calls the night of the cancellation, cancelled our reservation without calling, only informed us of this the day which we arrived, told us that we would receive a refund, and then refused to do so. This was all after three months of my girlfriend being drawn down a convoluted path of a phone calls and confusion because of the staff at the hotel. I highly discourage anyone from staying at this establishment. It is shame to have the Hilton name on a property where such an incompetent staff is employed. read more

3 stars is pretty accurate! Hotel itself looks decent, Hallways look recently redone and rooms were ok as well. Front desk staff were fine. Big hot tub is always great after a day of skiing. Place lost points for a few annoying things. There was a huge sky light in our bedroom with no curtain. Literally right over our beds so blaring light at the crack of dawn...brutal! They offered breakfast in our package. Too bad it's a crappy continental breakfast with few choices and mostly sugary garbage. Of course they have a bigger full breakfast...Literally 4 hot items for 22$! If you can stay here in the cheap, I guess go for it, if you can find something closer with better amenities then venture on. read more

Where do I start? Hmm let's start with the big one...you can't drink the water. Don't brush your teeth with it, drink it, take a pill, cook, etc. They don't even mention don't use the ice machine or how about the food that's cooked there? Nope. There's a warning from the state DEP as you check in saying that the well water they use is unfit for human consumption. The hotel gives you bottled water, but they don't address the ice machines, the starbucks in the lobby or the almost completely closed restaurant that serves breakfast. Now that the big one is over let's talk about the fact that I searched Hilton.com for a hotel with an outdoor pool (July=Hot, outdoor pool=fun). This hotel showed as having one. Imagine my surprise when we got there and they said, nope only indoor. We found the outdoor pool, closed up behind a fence with a moldy canvas cover over it, as if it hadn't been used since pre-covid. Don't use the emergency stairs, they're lit with an old table lamp and the bottom floor is pitch black at night (like you'd imagine in the horror movie!) Add to that the pee stains on the underside of the toilet seat when I got into the room (long drive...you know!) showing that the cleaning was NOT up to par even a little. The water leak between the bar on the 1st floor and the lobby on the ground floor (they use european floor numbering) went from drops to a stream depending on some factor I can't fathom, but the bucket and the bulging paint filled with water above you as you go down the steps isn't exactly 'quality' is it? Do yourself a favor, don't go near this place, it's not a hotel, it's like something from a bad movie..I swear. read more

I don't know who would rate this place anything higher than 1 star. I'll start with the pros: Our check-in experience was easy and those at the front desk were very nice/pleasant. The lobby is very nice with a beautiful big fireplace. Our room was a good size. You're in a great location. Now onto the cons: Our room resembled a frat house. The carpet was stained. Our closet door had holes and dents in it. All of our furniture was chipped/broken/mismatched. All of the lamps in the room either leaned to the side, didn't work or didn't have lightbulbs. It looked like there was old vomit splattered on the wall. Our bathroom was outdated and dirty with hair everywhere and our bathtub should honestly have been condemned - we showered in flip flops. Additionally our room smelled HORRENDOUS; like musty, moldy, stale air. Finally, our room was freezing and had a tiny modular heater in it that didn't work. The hot tub was also not a hot tub - it was an over chlorinated bath tub with no jets, apparently those couldn't be used due to Covid? Which was SO IRONIC because does Covid exist here? You wouldn't be able to tell based off of the lack of enforcement of Covid guidelines. I would NEVER stay here again and would actively warn folks to avoid this hotel at all costs. read more

Pros- Rooms we're clean- Staff was nice. Location was convenient. Cons- 1. Our room had no place to hang clothes so we had to keep everything on the floor in our suitcases. 2. The door to the adjoining room next to us would not close or lock. They had a little 2x4 nailed in at the floor to prevent it from being open but it wouldn't have taken much for it to be pushed through. 3. We had one chair that was very old and no tables in the room- and no where to sit besides on the beds. 4. The are undergoing renovations so the bar, restaurant, and indoor pool were not available- nothing is posted on the website about this. 5. Breakfast consisted of OJ, yogurt, granola bars and hard boiled eggs and coffee. On weekends they do a little more for breakfast. read more

Stayed here in October 2019 Not sure why Yelp reports this place close. Check-In/Check-Out Checking in and out was easy and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The Room The room was in a good size. There was a window overlooking the hot tub and swimming pools. There was a TV, a small fridge, and a microwave. The bed was in good size and clean. The Bathroom The bathroom looks old but still in good condition. Lighting could be improved I think is too dimmed. Restaurant/Entertainment Not sure if there's a restaurant on site but there's a bar but it was closed when we were there. Hotel Service/Amenities They provided free wifi and free parking. They also have a swimming pool on-site with indoor and outdoor but since we stayed here in October and is cold they only have the indoor and a hot tub which was soooo nice!!! They also offer free breakfast, but it could be improved. The food looked not fresh but it was not too bad. Overall I would definitely stay here again if I were to ski near Killington, it's a nice place and I can see it being really full and expensive during ski season. read more

BEWARE!!! DO NOT STAY HERE! This was by far the worst experience at a chain property EVER coming from a frequent traveler and Hilton Diamond member. Upon check in, the entire lobby was under construction due to "pipes bursting." According to locals, this hotel is notorious for having maintenance issues and they've been having problems with their pipes all season. The common area on the first floor also had a pipe issue and there were garbage bins collecting dripping water from the ceilings. Good look for a Tapestry property. The pipes issue meant the Starbucks cafe in the lobby was closed. The entire time of our 3-day stay neither fireplace in the lobby or the 1st floor common area was lit. There was plenty of firewood next to both fireplaces but no one ever took the time to light them. Also, upon check in, they told us the pool and hot tub was being renovated. None of this was communicated to us upon booking. They informed us we could not drink the tap water; that it was unhealthy to drink, so we had to use bottled water to drink and brush our teeth. However, they said the water was safe to bathe in. ???? No issue with the largest organ in our body (our skin) absorbing the water, I guess. The bar in the common area never opened. For our first room, the floor smelt like damp water and mold. It was unbearable so they moved us to another room. On our second night of the second room, the hot water stopped working. They were unable to fix it so they moved us to a third room. We had to completely re-pack and move rooms twice during our 3-day stay. All three rooms were filthy. The bathrooms were disgusting (see pics) and dirt and filth was everywhere. Multiple times during our stay there was no front desk attendant and we had to wait for someone to show up to address our needs. We asked for more towels since there were only two in our room and we were told "towels are hard to come by," so we grabbed some from the common area which I guess were for the pool. No care has been taken with this property. It is embarrassing for the Hilton brand for this to be under their Tapestry umbrella. When speaking with management, you can see why the property is the way it is. Big attitude and no sense of hospitality or customer service. A few of the front desk attendants were helpful, but even they mentioned how frustrated they were with issues occurring at their property. STAY AWAY. read more

For starters, I was very hesitant to book this place feeling it would be severely outdated, but that is certainly not the case. The location is perfect and the building really stands out as you approach. The only thing outdated is the pot hole ridden parking lot and that is no big deal. It certainly has that ski lodge feel and if you roll in around check-in time, you will be greeted by a warm fire in the main lobby. The pics make the lobby space seem much larger than it is, but there is some areas to relax, along with a small computer station and free (albeit weak) coffee if you need it. We were greeted right away with friendly enough staff and were even able to check in an hour earlier (3pm), which was a plus. The room itself was nice enough and quite spacious inside with a small balcony too, which allowed us to keep some things cold without cramming everything into the very tiny dorm fridge provided in the room. Conveniently located not only to the Beast himself, but one could even walk to a nearby restaurant if so inclined. We preferred to drive the short distance to the half dozen or more places to eat/drink, as the road can be very busy. Breakfast was very adequate and better than most hotel chains from my experience. Scrambled eggs 2 ways (cheese or no cheese), sausage links, ham, and breakfast potatoes too. A few cereals, yogurt and granola (not offered day 2 - sad face), plus cantaloupe, melon, and some assorted pastries. Again, coffee was very weak, so we grabbed a strong cup off premises (see my other review to see where). The 20 person hot tub was a nice touch, with an amazing view of the ski mountain. It certainly was crowded, but not overcrowded. The temp. was hot, but almost too hot on the 2nd day. Only bad thing would be the small area for the pool table, large sized Jenga and Connect Four, as there was a huge party of kids staying from England. They were nice kids, but we only could get one game of pool in before it was overrun with packs of them for hours. Some more games and/or an arcade in a separate space would help. The fireplace on the main floor was huge and raging with a few decent sized couches to relax. They were playing 2 different movies (7pm and 9pm) each night, but I didn't take part, so nothing to review there. Same 2 movies each night was odd, unless it just wasn't operating or in high demand. On top of that, there was also a full bar on the same floor, but we did not take advantage. For the price, this place is definitely 4 stars. Not anything fancy, but a solid place to relax for a few days and have plenty to do in and around the hotel. read more

This is by far the WORST HOTEL IN THE WORLD. Upon arrival, we were send to our dirty room, with used towels and pubic hair in the shower. Finally, after much discussion with the front desk, they moved us. Thought things were getting better, until the algae filled green hot tub and NO HOT WATER IN THE ROOMS. COLD SHOWERS. I went to the front desk to complain that we don't have hot water and the outdoor jacuzzi is green. The front desk agent told me "I don't really want to hear your issues, so give me your phone number and I'll have the manager call you" I asked, "when should I expect a call" And he said "don't hold your breath, she's not good at getting back to people" ITS NOW BEEN 36 hours and no manager call. I'm disputing my credit card charge to stay in this hell-hole. Also, I'm being 100000% serious. If you are thinking about booking this hotel, DONT. Get a sleeping bag and saddle up next to a dumpster. It'll smell better and I'm confident that the rats will be more hospitable than the management team here. read more

I know it's summertime at Killington mountain but this place is a ghost town! Our Check-in went smoothly. I booked the room through Priceline. 1 king room. Came to $106 with tax. The pictures online look very nice. Not the case! The hotel is in need of some serious renovations! The furniture in our room was very worn and stained. The bed was clean but very firm. The bathrooms was standard and was clean. The outdoor pool was closed. This was very disappointing. They have a very large outdoor hot tube. This was open. The breakfast is included and served buffet style. Eggs, bacon waffles all room temperature or cold. If your looking for somewhere to just lay your head for the night after skiing I'd say this is fine but by no means is this a 4 star hotel. read more

Pretty terrible, the only thing that was great was the location. I am shocked this hotel is under the Hilton name. Our room was not very clean: garbage can not emptied, food left in fridge, stains on the carpet, shampoo container empty, no extra linens or towels, only two towels. My bed did not have a flat sheet, and a scratchy blanket. Pillow had yellow stains. The pool is peeling on the bottom, the hot tub water was green, and did not seem to have any chemicals. Fire pit was not lit, fire in the lodge also was not going. I am happy we were only staying one night. Gross, we will not be back. Hilton should be ashamed this hotel is open under their name. read more

If you are looking for a middle of the road kinda "eh" place to stay this is it. It is inexpensive, gives you the beds promised and has a beautiful locale around it. The staff seem friendly, the breakfast (cereal cereal and more cereal was awesome). Yes, I know right, who would have thunk that the most exciting memorable thing of my stay here would be the cereal breakfast in the morning, but hey, nice job. Check in process was painless, room is decent sized, HILTON clean stay was in effect. On reservation was had 2 adults and 2 kids, so you should know you would need a minimum of 4 bath towels and 4 wash cloths. When your customer has to ask you for them because you didn't provide enough, it shows you didn't look up the reservation and treated your guest like a credit card number. The view outside (eyes up) was good, but don't look down at construction and pallets stacked just under our window. Ok, so there are 50 million excuses for you to not be 100%, but a customer needs just one reason not to spend their money with you. That big reason came as a surprise in the room. Your cracked bathroom floor, your sink that would not drain for 15 to 20 minutes and your bath tub that didn't drain well either. Again, if HILTON considers this to be normal, maybe they need to reconsider! As a HILTON HONORS member, I was disappointed. read more

Stayed for 4 nights . Room smelled like mold. Sheets were dusty. One bath towel and one hand towel allowed per room. Heard the excuse 'shorthanded" so often! Tap water not drinkable but was refused water that was clearly on the cart in front of my room. Electric opening doors were not functional and was difficult to bring luggage in while using a cane. The only time I was offered assistance was at check in on 9.20. Does not deserve the Hilton name. read more

Room is nice looking but it's just a front for how disgusting the place actually is. Our bathtub doesn't drain and after efforts of trying to get maintenance to help fix it, I was told there's actually no maintenance here. It's 6pm on a Tuesday, there's no excuse. Instead, I was handed a bottle of drain-o and a plunger by the man at the front desk (who is very nice and feels bad that his company is awful). This property has been around for decades, which you will know the moment you walk in. It's recently become part of the Best Western family, and they have renovated parts of it. The indoor pool may be new, or recently renovated, not sure. It was under construction when I was here. Outdoor pool not yet open. The outdoor hot tub is huge and much used. People love it. There is a fire pit there too. Very nice. The rooms are fine. Large and spacious. The windows need a serious renovation, some open, some don't etc. The AC comes from standalone units which are old and odd. Some seem to work better than others. None are easy to use. Pillows not great but mattresses are fine. There is a nice bar area and pool tables that are uses. Plenty of games around too. It's a ski lodge and I bet hoping in the winter. In the summer it's quieter. Plenty of parking. Some easy, some farther away. read more
