She uses natural ingredients, is super comforting, and explains what she's doing throughout. I have a high stress job, like many of us out there, her aura is soothing, she's super nice, and her hands are like little rays of sunshine as she works her magic! I was so relaxed I didn't want to get up! She really seems to know her stuff, cause upon closer inspection, she knew exactly what areas to focus on during the facial. I also really appreciated that after the fact when I asked her to suggest products for me, she didn't push all kinds of products that I don't need. She suggested ones specific to my needs, and answered my questions very thoughtfully. Overall, an amazingly relaxing experience! Loved her and the facial! Would be so happy to visit Ashlee again!!!

You'd think because I arrived late to my appointment - and her last appointment of the day - that mine would be cut early, maybe. But no, far from it, Kim stayed to address ALL of the areas of concern I have about my skin for 2 hours- from areas of my face, areas with scars, other areas with acne... she knew how to care for every place I needed some cleaning and guidance. I even got my eyebrows done while we were at it. She is careful and detail oriented in absolutely everything she does. She does not rush, but wants to give you the best care and products your skin could use. My facial with Kim was far different from any other personal care or healthcare appointment I've ever had - she made me so comfortable while I was getting some work done, especially such a personal type as skin care. My imperfect skin makes me feel vulnerable, but Kim made me feel not only accepted, and not at all judged but truly pampered and cared for. It felt like I was just being cared for by a 2nd mom. I have recommended all my my family and friends see her, I would love to see a day where Kim could do this full-time, not just part-time. The appointment was canceled by the provider; the gratuity was refunded, but the service fee was retained despite the service not being completed. Given the high costs associated with wedding services, I recommend reviewing the contract carefully, reading reviews (both positive and negative), and clarifying how cancellations and refunds are handled in situations where the service is canceled by the business so expectations are clear and stress can be avoided on important occasions.

I hired Kelli for my July 2022 wedding. Ultimately, I found her to be incredibly rigid, hard to…read morework with and unreasonable. I think she probably sees herself as a stealthy business woman, making sure to look out for her own best interests (which would be something I can appreciate). However, her inability to compromise or even communicate clearly when a resolution is needed are not the qualities of a good small business owner. What's really frustrating though, is that after all her shortcomings on the business side of things, she absolutely does not make up for it in the realm of talent. When I initially experienced how cold Kelli can be in her emails, I thought "well, if she communicates this poorly but still has good reviews, she must be REALLY good at what she does." No. I will leave it at that--the answer is no. I thought about writing out all the details of my experience with Kelli, but then this review would be way too long. I will just say that by the end of my interactions with her I had given up. Every email she sent left me feeling more upset than the last, and I didn't want that kind of energy leading up to my wedding. Rather than seeking a fair resolution or any of my money back I chose to just pay her the remaining balance owed, take the services she was willing to give me, and then never talk to her again. To you, Kelli: I get that you deal with a lot of weddings and contracts all the time. But for me, this was my wedding. It was a very special day for me. And I wanted to be able to talk to you, as a real person and as the artist that you claim to be. Instead, I got a cold robot who quoted the contract at me every time I tried to have an open conversation about what I needed. It made me feel like we were at odds instead of being on the same team. There is a difference between being direct and being abrasive. You can be direct and still be friendly. In the end, when I told you I was upset and why, the attempt you made at having a warm, positive tone came across as insincere and condescending. Also, the fact that you didn't even check your own contract before mis-quoting it at me repeatedly added a whole new layer of confusion to our already frustrating communications. UPDATE: A day or two after I posted this review Kelli emailed me reminding me of a clause in my contract regarding reviews and asking me to take this review down. (Everything else that was said in her long email just solidly reinforced my previous experience of her.) I was aware of the clause and am not in breach of it, so will not be removing my review. It makes you wonder though, if there have been other poor reviews that went unposted due to that clause.
