The counter is inside The Grog Shop. Great choices! The Cuban was fantastic. Large piece of bread, great tasting meat. Lots of cheese and pickles. I got the potato balls too. The bread was sweet and the filling was just right. Order at the KiKi's counter and pay over at the Grog Shop counter. There are tables to sit at and eat inside.

Ordered: - Cuban Sandwich: 3/5 - lacking on flavor other than salty cured meat, bread was a little chewy - Yucca Fries: 1/5 - I thought I was eating fry shaped batter at first.... I've had yucca fries at other places, and they were nothing alike. Not convinced these are made with yucca.. as they don't taste or have the texture of yucca - Potato Balls: 2.5/5 - over fried; if you were expecting a Porto's potato ball, you'd be very disappointed. Very little meat to potato ratio & the meat was not well seasoned at all. Service: cashier was nice and friendly

This review is for their location inside the Grog Shop liquor store in Whittier. Young lady employee was very friendly and explained it's a family owned business. Ordered their Cubano sandwich to go which cost $15. It was very delicious but kind of on the small side considering the price. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items.

Just finished eating my Media Noche Sandwich and let me tell you! It is soo delicious and I want another one! Brian the owner is super chill and friendly. He's a Whittier local! All the food is authentic and made from scratch. They even make their own bread! Can't wait to come back and try the Ropa Vieja. Come show this place some love! We came to the Kiki's counter inside the Grog Liquor Store.

We noticed that not only do they have a food truck that comes regularly to the Saturday farmers market in La Mirada, but that they opened a location on Lambert and Colima, inside a liquor store. We enjoyed the food: the plantains and beef items, but we wished that they had chicken options, as we're not huge fans of pork. With that said, the service was very nice and is a friendly family business. They say that their menu items are all made fresh too, using family recipes. I hope to try their Media Noche sandwich and garlic aioli next time!

Got to try this food truck today at a little craft market. We ordered the Cuban sandwich and a side of plantains. I enjoyed both very much. The guy was very friendly and told us that they make the bread fresh daily and smoke their own meat. It was very tasty. I would definitely eat their stuff again should I cross their path.

2 small potato balls and a flat sandwich for 29$??? Way over priced would not recommend this food truck. :(( The food was good but i mean for that price ill just go to a sit down restaurant.

I had the best cuban food in San Gabriel Valley the food was not only delicious but fresh and the owner took the time to make us feel welcomed. I recommend this place to all of my friends.

I initially got it because curry chicken sandwiches always have a sweet element and most places do raisins or apples. Here, they did peach, and I was like, 'damn. I want to try this.' But when I bit into it, the star of the freaking show was the peppercini!! What!??! That vinegary balance with a tiny kick. Mmmm, yeah. Super good that I ate way too much in one sitting.

I would definitely order from them again! The pick-up/take out service was excellent as my daughter ordered and paid for the food before getting there. She said it's more of a take out spot as there wasn't much room to sit down.

My mom usually made the classic ham and cheese or turkey and cheese, so sandwiches never felt like something I got overly excited about. Then I tried the Turkado, and honestly... I get it now. That sandwich was packed with flavor and had the perfect balance of turkey, lettuce, and that signature sauce. I don't know what exactly is in that sauce, but do they share the recipe? Because there's something about it that makes the sandwich special. It ties everything together perfectly. I also tried the Baja Chicken, and this one honestly proved me wrong. I've never been the biggest fan of chicken sandwiches on that type of bread, but Board & Brew made me question that entire opinion because this sandwich was magnificent. Flavorful, satisfying, and way better than I expected. Now I'm sitting here realizing I probably need to work my way through the rest of the menu because there are still several sandwiches I haven't tried. Board & Brew might have officially turned me into a sandwich guy, and I honestly didn't see that coming.

First off, I came in for two pastrami sandwiches which they promptly came out to me and said they didn't have any more pastrami. The lady was nice and said she would upgrade me to a different type of pastrami that actually cost more. Well whatever this crap was it didn't taste like pastrami at all. I got one soft bread and one crispy bread and the crispy bread could've chipped a tooth on a normal mouth so thank God I've got implants. Both sandwiches were painfully boring and I wish I had something good to say. I'm not sure what was put in my wife's sandwich either when she got explosive diarrhea less than 10 minutes after eating her sandwich? The cold cuts tasted off and I wanna say that they were rotten because I've been burping it all day. Something positive? I guess the store looked nice on the inside? Anyhow, without a doubt I will not be back because if Subway can make a better sandwich than you guys you're in trouble. And subway sucks by the way. As we waited, I started noticing something interesting: two parties who came in after us were seated immediately. Then almost 30 minutes went by. At that point, I poked my head back in and said, "Hey, we put our name down about 30 minutes ago, and I've noticed people coming in and getting seats." Immediately, the hostess who originally helped us said, "Yes, yes... sorry about that. You can choose a table right now." So apparently our table had been available in the Witness Protection Program. To make matters worse, we were seated next to one of the parties that arrived after us, and we got to enjoy the thrilling experience of watching them receive their food before we even ordered. The food itself was good overall. The only miss for me was the mac and cheese, which tasted like KFC mac and cheese that had a passionate encounter with a jar of jalapeño juice. Would I come back? Maybe. The food was decent, but for a first visit, the service definitely left a stronger impression than the meal did.
