The lemon pepper was especially disappointing. Instead of the traditional lemon pepper flavor, it had a strong cumin and lemon taste that reminded me more of Indian style seasoning. It just wasn't enjoyable. For the price, the quality simply wasn't there. Based on the wings alone, I wouldn't recommend this place or go out of my way to try it. What really stood out were the flavors. Even the hotter sauces had amazing taste. Too many wing spots seem to think "hot" means sacrificing flavor, but Fried Hard nailed both heat and taste. Our favorite flavors were the Hot Lemon Pepper and Memphis Bold. Both were packed with flavor and easily some of the best wings we've had in a long time. It's also cutting it close for the hourly workers who have to clock in-clock out for their lunch hour. -there is no "lunch menu", everything is à la carte which can make it a bit pricey. How to solve issues: -downsize menu options. Less items to cook means shorter wait times. -create a lunch menu. This would also speed up the process as well as create a fixed cost. Easily you can spend $20-$25 on lunch when you add fries and a drink. I love wings; this is the best wing spot in town hands down. There are things they can do to improve, we are all pulling for their success!

Chatman's Chicken was off their game during my visit yesterday afternoon. They gave me red beans and rice in place of the sweet potatoes and forgot the riblet. I had to return to the counter to inform they forgot the riblet. I said nothing of the red beans and rice, deciding to try them since I have gotten the sweet potatoes as a side in my two prior visits. The chicken has been better. It wasn't as juicy as before but wasn't as dry as the wood-like riblet. Also, the restaurant charges 75 cents for tea refills. Worse, the order ticket showed $20 for my order, which I paid for by debit card. I paid cash for the one tea refill. However, my bank notification showed they submitted a $20.50 debit. Maybe this was for a surcharge they didn't tell me about beforehand. Based on this experience it appears Chatman's has lost its way.
