Highly recommend Kiki Pools!! We got a 15x24 semi above ground pool. Very responsive and did great work! We love our pool!!!!! From the very beginning, I felt very comfortable with Dimi. He was thorough, the estimate had everything included and there was no add on costs during or after the install. They started the install a day early and were completely done in 2 days. I love that they took care of everything from the electrical and installation of the pool. We didn't need to get separate estimates for the electrical and plumbing. Even after our pool was installed, we had an issue with our timer and Dimi was responsive and came right out to fix the timer. Worst pool installer, doesn't listen, ignores, lies. We needed a new above ground pool and made a purchase from a local pool place. Kiki pool installations were the installers the pool place uses as a 3rd party install. On the initial come out 1st look, we told the guy we bought a deeper above ground pool. That our old pool was shorter so the new pool will not be flush with our deck that was right against the old pool. We said the rail and wall height will be a few inches higher than our deck so don't worry about it and we're ok with it. So install day comes and I get home and see the pool up and completed. I then notice that the height of our new pool was flush with the deck floor. I'm thinking wtf!? Then I see they trenched the outer perimeter of the pool to get the height level to the deck. Which I never told them to do. I wouldn't mind but this is where we get screwed! There was no excavation done in the center. So the pool wall trenched below ground level, now the height in the middle is higher and we lost pool depth after paying more money for a deeper pool!! As far as level, one side of the pool at 2 post spots, was bowing outward and the other inward. You could literally see how unsightly it was just from looking at it and putting a level on it, it was completely out of plumb. Made phone calls and voicemails to this company and they would not answer. Had to go to the pool place we bought from to show pictures and explained what happened. What we told them not to do but did anyway causing us to lose pool depth. The owner contacted them while I was there and what do you know, they answered her! She told them she sees the pics of the pool wall I'm showing and it's not right and they need to fix it. They come back out while I was at work to fix it.....but nothing was done and same way it was before. I called them and they answered this time. The woman told me they came and fixed it today which I had to explain they did not do anything and it's exactly the same. They came out again, again did not fix it. Now I'm beyond furious at this point. Not to mention that the whole depth of the pool I lost because of what they did. It cannot be fixed without dissembling the entire pool and starting from scratch, needing a new liner and ground work redone plus emptying a full pool now as it was left getting filled after install. So now on the 3rd attempt back out to fix the pool wall. I take the day off from work to be there this time. The guy says to me they fixed it the last 2 times out. I said no you didn't!! Look at these pics and look at that pool and tell me it's not exactly the same!! Then I put the level up on the areas of the pool and I said tell me that this is not out of plumb and bowing out still! He then agreed to me that it was and I said you know why that is? Because I do. I work construction for a living. You disturbed the ground digging a trench for this pool wall, which you were never told to do to begin with. So now the pavers that the posts are sitting on sank some out of level and making the pool out of plumb. Am I right? He then agreed. Then I said now back to that part. Being you now trenched the pool wall below the original ground height we now lost the pool depth on our pool. Which we paid more money for a deeper pool. He wanted to keep telling me that wasn't true and I didn't lose pool depth. I told him I do excavating for a living, I'm not stupid. Let me first point out that they are a .com store. No brick and mortar store to buy little items to maintain your pool. But yes you can buy a complete pool package and they will install it. Start to finish excluding landscaping. KiKi Pools beat everyone's price and better yet, the work is perfect! The pool base starts with paver sand and is compacted level with machine. Then the softer sand is added and also compacted with machine while being dampened with water hose. My pool is level as can be. Liner is installed with use of vacuum to ensure no folds or wrinkles what so ever. Then there is a gentleman named Dimi who did all the electrical work and he is a perfectionist!!!! I thought I was picky, but he and his team are highly organized and efficient. You will be happy with their work. See photos below. Landscaping was extra and done by different company. read more

Kiki Pools did a fantastic job for us. We had our above ground pool delivered and installed late in the season. Kiki Pools worked with us on delays due to the pool delivery (delay was not their fault) and rescheduled us. They were very responsive throughout the process easily accessible by phone and text message. On the day of install they showed up on time and did a fantastic job. Couldn't be happier. We hired this pool company to install a 12x17 oval pool. Once we filled the pool we noticed that the pool was unlevel (you could tell because you could see the diamonds on the left of the liner and not the right) After many phone calls someone came to look at it and we were told that "it isn't our fault, our level must have been broke" we were then told that the manager would reach back out to us because obviously that was not an acceptable response and very unprofessional. Well almost a month later they are refusing to take our calls. We paid in cash for a level pool and that is not what we received. DO NOT use Kiki Pools!!! read more

Kiki pools started out ok. I should have recognized some red flags. I was told they had experience putting the type of pool in that we purchased elsewhere. Then told by the owner when he was here installing that this was the first time doing this type of pool. I was told they do not handle obtaining the permit and I ran around literally driving 5 hours to obtain a sealed copy of the plans as they did not own a seal for their company. I also handled all communication with the building department myself. The owner told me he would use the dirt dug up to grade my yard which I was so happy about. What he ended up doing was spreading dirt over the area closest to the pool that did not need grading so now I have a dirt yard and the area needing leveling still not level. They never connected the solar panels that were an easy basic connection before connecting the lines to the filter and want $450 to return to do this, the filter is leaking when turning to waste and for all this we paid over 6000 cash for installation. They also have not schedule the inspection to close out the permit. The daughter who runs the office, asked me to send pictures and that was the last i heard from anyone. I have texted and called numerous times with no answer. It is sad and frustrating to be taken advantage of. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY is my only advise. read more

BUYER BEWARE It is with great disappointment that I write about the scam this company turned out to be. Pool installations are at a premium this season with the COVID Pandemic. After I purchased my pool from Central Jersey Pools, they referred Kiki Pool Installations. I am in the midst of deck work so timing and coordination was critical. The pool guy knew this and after originally being quoted a $2100 teaser estimate by Central Jersey Pools, Kiki upped to $3050 after reviewing the job to which I agreed. When he arrived May 19th to install the pool, the deck structure was still there and he said it is a harder job and told me it is another $2000 to do the job. I felt like a hostage, I had no alternative but to pay it as I had a deck guy that was dependent on the work and the next date to get an installer was July. After completing the job, the deck guy noticed the deck boards coming apart and realized the Installer removed the support beams around pool to make it easier to get the liner in. The cost to secure the deck and rework involved is going to result in the installation costing more than the pool itself. Kiki denied there was an issue even after seeing the posts laying on the floor and me showing pictures of the damage he caused. It is a place with lack of integrity who took advantage of a situation and his lack of acknowledgment was troubling to say the least. This review was long over do. I had them put my pool in, in the summer of 2017. They were really great. I was hesitant, at first, with going with them because the reviews were so inconsistent but I did go with them and it was a great experience. They gave me the best price for my pool hands down. The other prices I got for the same pool weren't even close. It's a family run business. When you call the owners sister answers the phone. Sometimes you have to leave a message and she will call you back. After that I spoke directly with the owner. The fact that they don't have a store front and his sister answers the phone I ch I was very particular in what I wanted, even a little if a pain in the ass but he accommodated my every request. He delivered the pool to my house when he said he would. Everything that showed up was exactly what I asked for. The pool I bought from him was called a Aquasport 52. It's a all aluminum pool that can be buried in the ground. The owners father handles the installs. At the time it was raining a lot so my install kept getting postponed. We were anxious to get our pool in so they were very good with rescheduling. They did a great job. The pool went in, in one day. We sunk it in the ground two feet with just over two feet above the ground. It's now been three seasons with the pool and we have not had a single issue with it. With it only two feet above ground it's a breeze to vacuum, get in and out and cover. Very satisfied! read more

This family business is the most attentive, transparent, fair and honest company, hands-down. After trying to have a pool installed with a different company, and being treated so poorly, I was very worried about how working with anyone else would be. I was met with happy greetings, photos and disclosures about everything to expect and if there were any questions or concerns in between, they always got right back to me. My whole family loved them. We have been with Kiki Pools for three years, they actually installed it and we were quite satisfied. We have had them close and open our pool since. This year was a very different encounter. When I called to schedule I was given no updates regarding their opening policy, when I spoke to their office, I was told "I thought I told you that" . So the opening day came and it started well as they were very prompt, but it went downhill from there. I was informed that they no longer provide the opening chemicals but yet the price remained the same. After opening the pool the worker informed me that the filter lever was stuck. I inquired what they were going to do , he quickly informed me that it was my problem not his. I was able to speak to his supervisor who reiterated what the worker had said. Now this company closed my pool and opened it no one touched it in between yet somehow its my fault. So he removed the lever was able to make it work but replaced it backwards so now my backwash is filter and filter is backwash. You would think the story ends there but No it gets better. Its been one week of adding chemicals but can't get rid of the cloudiness, so my brother in law stopped by to take a look and low and behold they installed the tubes wrong so my pool filter has been on for a week doing absolutely nothing but wasting my electricity. When you call and make an appointment they're pretty quick to get back to you. After all they want to make money. But do they care about customer satisfaction? No they don't. That's because they didn't install the ladder after they opened the pool. Without the ladder how in the world are we supposed to get IN the pool we paid them to open? We've went through this with Kiki Pool Installations year after year and eventually they made it right. But not in 2015. Every call made about getting them back here to install the ladder was ignored. All I can do is stop payment on the check they asked me to make out to "Cash" and report their tax evasion activities to the State of New Jersey, Gosh if only they returned any of my phone calls and actually finish the job they were paid to do..... read more

WARNING, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The company where we bought an above ground pool from told us they use this company to install pools. We were given a quote for the pool installation from the company and Kiki did not honor it and charged more for installation and charged extra for digging down deeper which they did not say they had to and they did not ask permission to dig deeper. So they dug deeper with out consent. They also did not follow zoning code where the pool should go and cut the cable wire. They are a very dishonest company. Although I did give them 1 star because they did a good job installing the pool but they do not take responsibility for their mistakes. read more

NEVER NEVER use KIKI pools!!! This is the worst company i have ever used. They are rude and do lousy work! I got their name from At Home Recreation after purchasing a pool from them. We were replacing a pool next to our deck. We sent them pictures of the existing pool as they requested since we were replacing it with the same pool. When the were finished there were many 2 to 3 inch gaps between the deck and pool and the heavy equipment ruined my pavers. I had to call a million times to get them to come back and try to fix the mess and they only did so after At Home Recreation Home called them. Instead of properly installing my pool they altered my deck. It still is not right but they are so incompetent there is nothing else i can do but get an attorney to get some of my money back! What a great experience! It was in & up within hours! Gentlemen worked into the rain that began mid-installation, (it was really bad at a few points, too! They just took times standing under the shed for about 15 minutes each. They ALWAYS HAD 5 guys working on installation no matter what.) They had everything they would need, sand included, when they arrived; ON-TIME & just 'dove right in!' I DID NOT HAVE the skimmer, they told me to just call them when it came in; when I did they were here within an hour or so. Maybe the other reviewers had situations, who knows, maybe time has been in their favor, I don't know, but the gentleman that services my filter referred them, had GOOD THINGS TO SAY about them & in the long run I found that to be the case. My only negative is that there was a miscommunication regarding the manufacturer of my pool & it did need additional installation work so the price had to change. (My filter guy said that it's normal). Keep doing what you're doing! read more

Worst installers ever! First they come 5 hours late for my installation appointment which I made 3 months in advance . Then the installers scratched up my pool in several places the posts the actual pool walls .. when a confronted them about the damage asking if they have any touch up paint for the scratches the guy pulls out a black sharpie marker and starts coloring it in!! Made it worse!! It's a dark brown pool so the scratches were very noticeable and right in the front too. They could of at least put the scratches up posts in the back side of the pool where the deck covers it a little . And they were very sloppy water bottles all over my yard they didn't clean up the boxes or garbage . When I called the Co the next day the woman said she'll talk to the owner and get back to me .. weeks go by I leave messages and no one calls. Now I have a scratched up brand new pool .. I even called the pool co where I bought the pool to see if they sell touch up paint they don't .. so I'm very upset .. do not use this co to install your pool! The worse! read more

They came to my house on a saturday morning and worked for 1 hour lets say, when started to rain a little for about 20 minutes... The installers told my wife thry would come back if rain stops or would be coming back next day or monday.... After several phone calls to office, text msgs to a phone number that we schedule the appt to install they finally called me on subday saying that they can come back on thursday afternoon only... Now put yoursef in my pants, having your pool all open in your backyard, not even knowibg if all the parts in there and on top of your landscape ruining what you paid for to get done... Also, because my wife told them we would find someone else to do the install if they dont come back asap, the lady on the phone which I dont even know why she calls people if herself claims the installers not to be her guys but just people that work at same company she does!!!!!! This company was contacted for pool installation and offered us a good rate, higher than a previous referral but we decided to go with them because they had the availability to install our pool within a week. Once they got here, the father of the owner advised me that I would have to pay $100 extra to remove 2 feet of pavers. I advised the father that my husband had contracted with his son and the pavers were included. The father called the son and yelled in a language I didnt understand and then stated if I do not pay the additional $100 he would take my pavers that cost me over 400 for the 2 feet. I was about to consider the additional $100 when he advised me of the actual bill and it was $400 more than the set price his son had given my husband. At that point my husband called the owner to complain and the owner apologized and confirmed the rate of $850 to us and will contact his father. The father received the call and again yelled in his language. He stated that the bill was $1200 or no work would be performed. I told them to leave. Now I have a backyard with 2 feet of pavers removed and no pool installation. This company leads consumers to believe they have the best rate in NNJ and then hits you with a higher bill when onsite.
