We collaborated so well, and his various suggestions were spot on. They were so neat and cleaned up every day. Domenic was on site each day, too, along with his crew. He walked me thru each day and what they planned to accomplish. They were on schedule with everything. Most importantly, the end result was magnificent!! Over the top beautiful! This was a tiny old powder room that was totally transferred into beautiful and modern/ deco. He went above and beyond!! I intend to use him for other projects in the near future!!

I also wanted to do some of the work, since I had the time and enjoyed performing home improvement. It also helped reduce the overall cost. Skydell was very flexible with this approach and we decided for the full remodel. Henry, the project manager, was good in communicating the work and the schedule. He worked through some unexpected obstacles (relocating a vent, additional support for shower) to ensure the job was completed in a very professional manner. I am very pleased with the final outcome and it has increased the value of the home.

The prices were similar and I got the sense that Skydell would be easiest to work with. I made the right choice! My kitchen was renovated within a week of the anticipated time frame and they did a beautiful job, but what impressed me most was the way they handled the complications that inevitably arise when doing a big project. They are very professional and respectful and put the costumer first. My contractor was a pleasure to work with and showed up to complete the job after I had made my final payment. and to do a free repair several months later. I will be using Skydell again when I'm ready to renovate my bathrooms.

He also tried hugging me at the end which I refused. People working for him called several times, acting all "familiar" with me, telling me I would get them to work on it, from the first call. I decide who I hire, it was very assumptive. The owner has behavior patterns that is disturbing. Other things were said/done that made me very uncomfortable.
