However, I did have an issue with today's visit, as it went differently than I expected. This was my second visit with Dr. Daniel D., and up until today, I had been nothing but satisfied with his service. During our appointment, he explained the treatment options available at his location. Two of those options were structured treatment plans, while the third option was outside of those plans and consisted of individual $60 manual adjustment visits. After I explained that the two treatment plans were not obtainable for me at this time, the conversation continued toward ways he could adjust the visits so I could still participate in one of those plans. I explained multiple times why the plans were not something I could commit to right now and that I preferred to continue with the third option, the $60 manual adjustment visits. My understanding was that he would do his part through the adjustments, and I would do my part outside of the office by keeping up with the appropriate stretches, exercises, and other recommendations. I also asked whether choosing the 15-minute manual adjustment visits would affect the quality of his work or prevent me from asking questions related to my treatment. I understand his point that following one of his complete treatment plans could provide better or faster results. However, I also explained that if I am consistent with doing the appropriate stretches and exercises outside of his office, while continuing to receive adjustments from him, I should still be able to see and feel improvement compared to my current condition. My issue was not that he recommended his treatment plans. I understand that as a doctor, he is going to recommend what he believes is best for his patients. - My issue was how strongly and repeatedly the plans continued to be pushed after I had already made it clear that I could not commit to either of them at this time. - At that point, it no longer felt like he was simply giving me his professional recommendation. It started to feel more like I was being persuaded to purchase one of the plans rather than having my decision as a patient respected. He continued emphasizing that without following one of his plans, I would not see the results I was looking for. While I understand the reasoning behind his recommendation, I did not appreciate feeling as though the only way he could help me was if I committed to one of his programs. I had already explained what I could reasonably afford and commit to, and I felt that should have been respected. That part of the interaction felt pushy and, in my opinion, unprofessional. I should be able to hear a doctor's recommendations, ask questions, and ultimately decide which treatment option works for me without continuing to feel pressured after I have already declined something. Because the conversation continued in that direction, I told him directly that I was not satisfied with how persuasive he was being about purchasing one of the plans and that I preferred to end our doctor-patient relationship. I then chose to leave the appointment and pay my due, he said it was on him. I respected that decision I had been satisfied with his work before this interaction, which is why today's experience was disappointing. My concern is not that the treatment plans were offered or recommended; it was the continued pressure after I had already clearly communicated my decision

I have been to chiropractors in the past, and I know some are just moneymaking operations, but this was really extreme. Dr. Larry spent the first appointment taking a ridiculous number of x-rays. He said he usually doesn't do adjustments during the first appointment, but I was in pain, so he agreed. The adjustments were ok, maybe a 5/10 as far as chiropractors I've visited before. He scheduled my follow-up appointment immediately and said I could pay at the next appointment. I assumed they would charge me my $50 copay, but I'm not confident based on more recent reviews. On my second appointment, we went over the x-rays, and Dr. Larry presented me with a "treatment plan". He said I'd need to go to him three times a week for at least three months, and then "we'll see" if we could reduce the frequency. He tried to insist I pre-pay THOUSANDS of dollars for 24 appointments (I think he called it the "Silver Plan", but I resisted on that. As I went to the front desk to pay, he told me he was training the new front desk person, and that it would be easier for me to pay at the next appointment. I decided not to return, but it's a month later, and I still don't have details on how much I'm being charged. Beware of this place. Note that all the 5-star reviews are several years old. I will update if there are any surprise charges.

Like when a chiropractor focuses more on selling you a package of visits than actually treating your ailments. Often times I felt like cattle when I saw previous chiropractors. I would get an exaggerated diagnosis of my physical condition, then was told I need to buy 36 visits to make ensure I got better--because somehow they knew exactly how many visits it would take me to fix my issues. Then I'd go to my appointments and get the three common adjustments and be sent on my way after two or three minutes. Neck adjustment, hip adjustment, back adjustment--visit over. Dr. Asaturov is everything I was looking for in a chiropractor. His adjustments are the best I've ever had. All because he actually pays attention to my body, instead of just going through the motions. Every time I get an adjustment I get up off the table and can stand up straighter, and walk with less pain. The tension in my upper back gets an immediate release. If I have a migraine and get an adjustment, its severity will be cut in half. It's amazing. Amazing. I trust Dr. Asaturov with my body, he's the only chiropractor that's improved my mobility and pain-- and the only on that actually cared about my progress. He's not a salesman--he's an effective, empathetic doctor. I'm happy to have found him, and I refer him to all my family and friends. I highly recommend him.

It hurts so good. May or may not leave with bruises but I will take it if I means better range of motion and I am not constantly bothered! She genuinely cares about her patients and has pretty good hours. I work a regular 9-6pm job so I appreciate that her earliest appointments start at 8am. I will say she has a ton of clients so sometimes the appointments don't start on time, but at least she has roller machines that feel super good and help to pass the time. She sells a few products like the Denne roll and Pillowwise that are supposed to be good for spine alignment, and I think as a dedicated patient who wants to feel better, it's hard to refuse buying these items. I do wish those could be covered by insurance but not sure she has control over that. The cash plan is not bad, I believe it is about $250 for 6 visits. Since my deductible is so high I choose to go this route.

I have an open personal injury case so I've been in several times over the last couple of months and was told it would be a smooth transition. Not the case at all. I had to fill out a new patient intake form upon arrival which I was shocked I had to complete given they already have all of my information. Once that was completed, I was handed a scan card like they give you at the gym except Chiropractor care is nothing like checking into a LA Fitness. Once I was in, I was surprised to see they tore down the rooms where you would get adjusted privately. The Dr. was then really pushing me to sign up for a program that would require me to come in more than I'd like to do exercises that I wasn't interested in. I finally had to stop "the pitch" and had to ask if I was even going to get adjusted. He said yes and did so but then followed me to the front desk to try and get me scheduled for the sessions he was pushing me on. I opted out and won't ever be back. What was once an amazing, family owned practice is now totally corporate. They even all wear the same matching polos. Dr. Devine was so good that I drove from Edmonds to downtown just to see him. Chiro One made it clear that it was time to switch to someone local who carries the same values as Dr. Devine. If you want a unique Chiropractic experience, go somewhere else. If you want to be treated like a $, this is your place.

After moving, I was in need of a DC close to my new home and unfortunately I found this place. Had my initial evaluation yesterday and the amount of paperwork was insane, like 3x more than what I'd fill out just to see a new PCP. That's fine, I can respect wanting a thorough med hx so I filled it out. While I was doing that, three people (not sure if they were a mix of employees and patients? started dancing around in the open "clinic/exercise" space. So unprofessional. I was then brought into the exam room where a non clinician conducted most of my "exam." Literally, I think he was the medical receptionist, who was nice, but it was just a bit odd. I knew they didn't adjust on the first visit, so I asked to be scheduled to the next morning. The "dr" said "our billing office likes us to give them 24 hours notice." Fine....even though I knew I only had a $15 copay. So I arrive at my scheduled appointment time today and waited 30 minutes past my appointment time for the "dr" to go over some nonsense cookie cutter crap about how she is recommending a program with 36 visits, one hour boot camp exercises, more xrays and evaluations every 9-10 visits. I told her that I was really just interested in a few at home exercises and an adjustment today and she said, "that's really not our corporate policy." So basically, as a patient, you have NO SAY in your care; you have to commit to their "program" or you don't get anything. She wasn't even going to think about adjusting me until I told her how I was going to make a payment for the $2500 package... REDICULOUS. Even if I wanted to do the program, three 60 minute visits a week would be extremely difficult for me in terms of time. I work in the medical field and nurses and physicians are always trained to treat the patient and not the disease. Can you imagine if every provider's care policy was "my way or the highway?"
