I did not know the owners prior to shopping for a used car there and received no prior recommendations from anyone to consider doing business with them. I bought a used vehicle there last year. The warranty they offered was so unique and strong it really cinched the deal. We paid a fair price for the car. Information and forthrightness were remarkable during the shopping experience. I had two repairs that were needed and covered by their warranty. They performed both quickly and without hesitation. I plan to return there in the future as long as the ownership and policies remain the same. You won't see balloons on cars, inflatables out front and fancy tent sales. You will see average folks who are straight shooters that won't make you feel like your time was wasted and your wallet was picked clean. Go here to get the best used vehicle at a very fair price with fantastic follow up service!

Family had been going here for years so I chose to get my next vehicle from Sell's. It turned into…read morea huge mistake. The vehicle I was set on was essentially being pushed heavily on me. It wasn't long after a list of issues, Corey was great at first, helpful, once it came to my request of a write up of what's wrong and a qoute he became short with me, a lot of excuses "I'm new here it's onlymy 3rd month", "I'm not a mechanic, I don't know anything about this". Brought the vehicle back look at something covered by the pathetic extended warranty that I had added into my bill. At the time expressed my concerns and to have a few things looked at, again asked for an inspection and qoute. Pick the vehicle up and it wasn't done. Again got the "I'm not a mechanic, I don't know anything about that". At this point I hadthe vehicle for months. Now I have more issues I'm facing. They tried to cover a preexisting issue by putting new tires on the vehicle and not addressing the cause of the tire wear. Notonly that nothing was mentioned. When I take to the sales Manager Corey he was extremely rude and unprofessional - sternly yelling atme on the phone for 10 minutes, wouldn't listen, cutting me off etc. Then tried to diagnose the car himself and told me what was needed - someone who responded with "I am not a mechanic, Iknow nothing about that". Then fed me BS excuses which was proven wrong information. Now completely ignored by sales and the shop at Sell's.

Everything went smoothly…read more I do recommend being ready for some hiccups or expecting to meet twice. I met with the buyer and tried to do it in one shot. As the seller, I had to upload photos of my odometer, registration, title, VIN sticker. The buyer wanted to see the car before starting the process. Once he agreed to buy, KeySavvy was not in business hours so we needed to wait until the next morning. Then it took almost another business day for the payment to be verified. Once keys were passed, I fedexed the title to Keysavvy and I had my money in 48 hours! Wish the fees were a little lower, but all worked out smoothly. Nice UI on their page. Thank you.

I fully understand the shortcomings of dealing in used and junker cars. I have driven them and…read morefixed them for my entire driving career (56 years). I just bought two cars from Sands Auto. They appear to be great deals for the money so far. We looked at about 6 vehicles closely and test drove at least 4. One which was purported to need a power steering box stopped shifting 5 miles down the road and just after we put $80 worth of gas into it. We had already purchased this vehicle. Bad tranny. When I called Sands fearing the worst Dave (Zimmerman) said "bring it back and we'll work things out." We discerned that the power steering box was actually in pretty good working condition. Dave took care of us, deducted the price of the gas, and set things right. We ended up buying a significantly better vehicle for a very reasonable price. If you buy a car from Sands Auto deal with Dave. He will get the job done to everyone's satisfaction. He had me by the balls but did the right thing. So I say don't be afraid to buy a car from Sands Auto. Just make sure you deal with Dave. He even returned my message while on his way to work early on Black Friday. We had no idea if the truck was still available or if we could even look at it. They highly recommend and suggest that you have to set up an appointment first. And we were already on our way by Uber. The $110 gamble turned out to be worth every cent. We all left with smiles on our face. Dave included. Happy Holidays to you and your family Dave!!! And thanks again for being responsible and displaying such integrity!!! Dave Hafner Maplewood, Mn
