I called and told them that I wanted a radio that had a volume button on the left and a tuner button on the right. The thing they put in is complicated, and low quality. Why did I have to wait 2 weeks for a special part for this generic stereo? The worse part is when you drop the top on the car, you can't even tell the radio is on at full volume. He came over to see the space for himself, and gave some recommendations as to brands, where the subwoofer sits, where the speakers should be positioned etc. Their crew was highly knowledgable and were extremely neat as they climbed around the ceiling, cutting holes in the ceiling for the speakers, and teaching me how to use the system. In the end I was thrilled with the final product. It packs plenty of punch, yet the speakers also bring out the delicate high notes of the music, and I'm able to hear with with a delicate clarity I never have before. they installed an upgraded flatscreen in my car-and the front camera stopped working, which was…read morejust installed 10 days prior and worked flawlessly- they blamed it on the new flatscreen and refused to fix it- the screen they installed was put in by them as an authorized installer, soo, if you mess up someone's front camera- that worked before you touched it- as an authorized installer of the equipment you should be able to find out from the manufacturer what to do to fix it. instead they just sent me an email blaming the flatscreen and not doing anything else about it- then again they are an authorized installer and could have had the screen replaced under warranty (it was brand new in the box...)

I called the guy (ended up being the owner's son) to tell him and he tried to tell me how to operate the climate control! I brought it back the next day and the owner and a technician looked at it for 5 minutes and then decided my vehicle was defective prior to me bringing it in to them. Other than no control over the climate control, I couldn't open the back hatch, an interior light would stay on, a tire pressure sensor came on, traction control warning light came on. The son was a complete jerk being condenscending and insulting to me and being sarcastic when I would ask him to explain to me in detail what needed to get done to resolve this problem. Same with the owner saying I was lying to them when I said nothing was wrong with my vehicle until they touched it. I lived with this for a week!! My windows would fog up!! I was either freezing or sweating from the system turning on an off whenever it did whatever it wanted. I could hear a clicking sound. I took it to my mechanic and he disconnected it and guess what? EVERYTHING was back to normal. My issue with Four Star is that they refused to think they messed it up. They said it was my fault. SEVERLY poor customer service. No one would listen to me. They took it out and I got all my money back. That was the absolute least thing they could do for me after this horrible experience with them.
