We visited Kid Can Do expecting a fun, engaging indoor play space for young children, but it felt more like a restrictive, adult-supervised activity zone than a true play area. The biggest issue was the inconsistency and lack of freedom for the kids. Plenty of cupboards, covers, and storage areas were unlocked and easily accessible, so naturally the children explored them. As soon as they pulled out toys or art supplies, staff quickly took them away because they "weren't part of this week's theme." If you're going to leave things unlocked and within reach, kids are going to play with them, that's completely normal and developmentally appropriate. Instead, we spent most of our time picking up after our child and saying "no" or redirecting them. If that's the kind of experience you're looking for, this is the spot for you. If you want a place where children can actually play freely without constant intervention, look elsewhere. It also didn't feel developmentally suitable for the younger ages they advertise for. The setup created more frustration than fun, with limited open-ended play opportunities. On top of that, the cost felt excessive for what's offered. For the price, I expected more space, better variety, and far less policing of normal kid behavior. You could re-create what they offer for a fraction of what you are paying to go here for 90 minutes and have better peace of mind doing it in your own home. Save your time and money. Head to Play Pie or the New Children's Museum down in San Diego instead--both are much better options for actual play and exploration. Unfortunately, this was a waste of an afternoon for us.

Still -1 star because it is the same management and owner who let the place get run down to the ground in the first place... and they still have a bunch of teenage boys hired to run the place. I just worry how long they can keep this place looking good. If something breaks will they just use tape to cover it up again? Good news is that I did see one of them cleaning the a spot in the mat at one point, so there is hope. However the eating area was pretty messy and dirty and I never saw anyone cleaning up. Also, there are too many people there on the weekends so you have to really follow your kid around not to lose them. Staff supervision seems loose. Overall, I'm willing to now bring my 3 year old here but am hoping the staff step it up.

And one of the card just paid for today's 2 hour pass! He said they couldn't do anything. No cash, I should call my bank. ?? I was so unsatisfied with that manager's attitude, he was not trying to solve the problem but concluded it was my problem.

Paige is one of those teachers who brings passion, innovation, and learning into the baby play…read moregroup. I was really impressed by the overall ambience of her teaching space. You will not find any cheap plastic or overly stimulating toys here. Paige carefully selected all furniture, play structures, and toys, to eliminate contact with hazardous materials or chemicals, and to give the babies a natural, open exploration experience. When you walk in, you feel a sense of serenity and calm as a parent, that your child will be able to play and explore freely without constraints. Paige's philosophy in our play group is to maximize the baby's sense of freedom and give them a completely open "yes" space to explore. As a parent, we are of course encouraged to intervene to make sure our baby is safe and that other babies are safe as well. Most of the time, we get to discuss the experience of parenting with other moms and dads, and watch our daughter explore this nicely designed learning space. In the "seeds" class (4-10 months), we begin by discussing what new behavior or movement we observed in our baby. Then we allow all the children to play. I cannot express enough what a joy it is to see my daughter interact with others in harmony, and explore her own interests and abilities. During the play time, Paige will also discuss parenting tips and strategies, often based upon a theme in articles/write ups that she sends to us the week before. Paige then wraps up the class with super fun songs, such as Clean Up, Mr. Sunshine, and many others that both parents and babies enjoy. I have heard stories from other parents about play groups that were unsafe and not entirely conducive towards free play. At My Village, you will be amazed at just how wonderful your baby can play with others if given the right space and teacher. Paige is such a great teacher and host (thanks for the coffee and tea), and always there for support and discussion. Try checking out from her little library too, which offers baby story books and wonderful books on how to parent with respect.

Parties are only for about 2 hours, but they do such a great job by filling the time with plenty of events and things to do. Pizza is really good here, and they have such a variety of party foods and drinks to make it the perfect event. The best part? Chucky! He comes out quite a bit and is super engaging and friendly to everyone. Definitely the star of the show. This place is big, plenty of games for ages 3 to whatever and the game selection is huge. Have your next party at Chuck E. Cheese if you have small kids, it's a memory that will last a lifetime.

I had such a wonderful time watching him play games, the obstacle course and jump jump. I had no idea how fun this place was for kids ages 2+. They had rides for all kids and parents who can hold their newborns on some rides that are safe and cute. My kid didn't want to leave so I ordered food from here. We ordered pepperoni pizza (personal), boneless lemon pepper wings (small). I was surprised how tasty all the food was and it was just enough for my little guy and myself to share. It was pricey but I think if you get their fun pass membership then saving 30% off food, drinks and games is worth it. I got the summer fun pass silver, which gives you 100 game plays daily, 30% off food/drinks/fun-zone/merch. I bought the souvenir kids reusable cup that gives free unlimited refills for life which like less than $5. My son loved meeting Chuck E where he comes out like every 30 mins on certain days times and for special occasions. Staff is awesome here! They're all helpful and kind. One that was recently so helpful was Julianna on my visit 6/11/26. For fun pass members, you will always get weekly specials like free cotton candy, bring a friend day to play for free, or extra discounts. There is so many affordable ways to let your kids enjoy too when you go on the CEC website for discounts. This is a great place for kids to unwind and for some whos kinds love bonding with their parents by playing and riding games together.

Upon entry we were greeted by a friendly game master, I forgot to get her name but she was really sweet and enthusiastic, you can tell this business cares about their players with the small puzzles and arcade game you can play while you wait as well as a mini fridge with some water and kool aid that was fantastic on this hot summer day. I heard both rooms were very colorful and whimsical and reviews were definitely not wrong. I think there was a great combination of difficulties for the puzzles and found some very easy to overlook if you ironically didn't get to dog-eye level hehe. We love animals so this was a really great and creative room. Thank you to Ms. Jade for helping us throughout the game and providing us with hints when we were really struggling and just so close. She was really sweet and enthusiastic too! I know she was working two games at the time we finished so we appreciated that she took the time to debrief us despite trying to juggle both games as best she could. We never felt rushed. She didn't rush us out at all (as some escape room places do), she was extremely patient and kind, and she went over all of the clues that we didn't get to solve when our timer ended. My boyfriend and I spontaneously booked "The Doghouse" and I believe I spoke with her on the phone as well before booking and she was just as sweet as she was in person. I absolutely loved the creativity and complexity of the puzzles and the room/props were of high quality (and not old or overused like some places, lol). Her customer service was definitely top notch - my boyfriend definitely made sure to tip her, lol. Will definitely be back again to solve another room soon!!!
