We celebrated our son's 3rd birthday at Kidspace today. I have to say, it was the easiest, funnest, and most hassle-free birthday we've ever thrown. We decided to give Kidspace a try after being recommended by a few moms in a FB mom group. My husband and I walked in on a Friday and were greeted right away by a young man. We told him we were interested in possibly having our son's party there and he was super accommodating and explained the entire venue to us. We decided to book it that day. $50 deposit down and we were set. Included in their price was a party captain, pizza for the kiddos, unlimited soda and popcorn, a set up party room (table cloths, plates, cups, napkins), balloons for the birthday boy, and tokens/wristbands for the guests. We also added pizza for the adults (you can't bring in outside pizza but you can bring in ANY outside food and they have outlets for warmers). Today was AMAZING! Our captain was Alyssa and she was super awesome! She helped me set up the room with our own decorations (you don't need much because the rooms are already decorated in a space theme) and she went over the timeline with us. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with Kidspace and EVERYONE who was working there, especially Alyssa. Our guests had a BLAST playing on the playstructure and playing all the free arcade games! We had guests from 1 years old on up to 11 and everyone had the best time ever. I haven't heard that much laughter in a long time! Our time slot was from 10-12 and it was perfect. I highly recommend Kidspace for any party and I'm sure I'll be back during the week with our son ... he's already asking when he can go back to "the rocket". read more

What a hidden gem this place is. Not only do they do a fantastic job for birthday parties, but it's a great place to take the kids for a couple hours. $3 gives you unlimited time in the bounce house/play area. The arcades are a little expensive , and they have a lot of ticket games. Normal stuff, you need a billion tickets to get anything worth while. They have a nice coffee /snack bar as well... A good place for kids age 1 and up to play. It does cost $3/child but that's a whole days visit. 5 story play place. Arcade and Rockwall. Cafe for parents to have coffee while watching their children play. Also snacks and a gym overlooks the play area so if you have a membership you can work out while your kids play. I just don't like that the arcade games seem out of date. Parents aren't allowed to go in playplace with small kids either. read more

We booked a party here for today, Our son's 6th birthday. The price was reasonable, we had about 24 guests and our party room could have fit 24 more. They provided all the supplies and we're very accommodating. Kids had the best time taking the elevator to the party room. My kids loved the hight of the rock wall. So, I really love the concept of this place (which actually closes at 6PM on Thursdays)... We went there yesterday ~ the kids absolutely LOVED the indoor playground. The restaurant needs more variety. We thought it was an actual place where we can order food, but when we went there, the lady said all we have is what's in the display (a few muffins and chips) my husband ended up leaving to grab some fast food for the family and brought it there to eat. We'll likely come back, but have duly noted the lack of food choice they have at their "restaurant" the arcade looked cool, 2 stories... We didn't go explore that area... But did see that there's a huge rock climbing wall. Overall the place looked awesome. Super awe factor for the kids. It looked like they had really cool party rooms, and even a theater room when I peaked into one (had a stage and drop down projector screens) we'll be back :) read more

Kidspace is great indoor fun for kids ages up to 11 or 12. There is a 5 story play structure that is CLEAN & well maintained. You pay only $3 per kid to play, and tokens for the arcade games are 4/$1. Meanwhile, Mom can buy lattes or smoothies or mochas (snacks too!) in the attached cafe w/ tables plus free wifi. Teresa was super helpful in booking and keeping in touch. Anytime I had questions she was very prompt in responding. Definitely recommend for hassle free event. Time goes by really fast so make sure you have someone monitoring time to get things rolling since kids will want to play the whole time and not come back. read more

We were visiting family in Modesto and found this place to burn off some energy for my 4 year old. I was surprised at how helpful the staff was and what they had to offer, especially the all you play video games. We planned to stay for an hour, but ended up staying for three. Yesterday we had our 3rd time Birthday party at kidspace and we love it! So much room and space to host a party. Thank you Kidspace for letting us have the room rental for our sons 1st Birthday party! It was so nice the way the tables were set up, the counter space for our food, and best of all, All the kids had a Blast in the play structure and arcade. We called and left messages because we wanted to have our boys birthday at kidspace again. Our previous experience was wonderful. No one returned our calls. We left multiple messages. ZERO call backs. We then decided to go to mountain mikes pizza (yeah better pizza) and then we'd head over with our party of children , buy wrist bands, tokens, and rock wall climbs. We were having a great time we had three boys in line for the rock wall. They were up next... And then a boy from a party walked up and the employee literally grabbed my sons hand and said "you're not party of a party, so you have to wait." Really? My son was confused. And the party boy got to cut in front of five kids total. I'm sorry our cash wasn't green enough for you. We've had a total of four birthday parties at kids space in the last year and I can't even begin to count the times we've come without a party. I'm honestly not sure we will be back. read more

I think that all together having a birthday party here was a great experience. We got 3 full hours of play, the party room which they decorated beautifully for us, pizza and soda for 30 people for about $500. That was pretty fair if you ask me. DO NOT COME HERE FOR PARTIES OR TO PLAY GAMES AT ALL! We had a party with 10 kids and bought a bunch of tokens for all of them only to find out 80% of the machines were out of service. They never once mentioned that when we asked about token pricing. They refused to refund anything. read more

Had a horrible experience with a birthday party. They decorated with the wrong color. Switched party coordinators mid-party. Spend most of the time in search of the party coordinator since he was no where to be found. He forgot to bring the popcorn that was included in the package. The pizza was 20 minutes late. He did not give out the coins to the kids until I found him and even then it took another 10 minutes before he got the coins together. There are plenty of other places in town to have a much better birthday party. read more

This is a really a safe and fun place to take your kids. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the coffee is incredible.

My son had attended a birthday party at Kidspace for one of his friends. We were looking at options for my daughter's upcoming birthday and thought we would give it a try. It is very difficult to contact anyone to book a party. You leave numerous messages and they may or may not call you back. It took my husband actually going there in order to book our party. (The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars). Once our party day arrived, it went of without a hitch!! Huge, colorful party rooms!! They provide everything except the cake or cupcakes. Our party captain was very attentive and helpful. We were able to use the party room for 90 minutes, which was plenty of time for pizza, cupcakes and presents. Then the kids were able to play in the arcade and play structure. We were there for 3 hours and never felt rushed to leave. The kids had a blast and slept very well that night!! That is worth it!! I'm sure we will be back not only for future birthday parties, but for rainy day play. read more
