The sales associate Khloe was fantastic she found me a few pair of shorts that fit in a 12 and cheered me up. We ended up becoming friends as we found out we go to the same college. Everyone is so nice. I left feeling so much better about my body. I have really struggled lately as my formula has caused me to gain weight so it's doing it's job and that meant none of my shorts from last summer were going to fit this year. I also got to say that American Eagle or at least this location carries inclusive sizing and has the most understanding staff when it comes to chronic illness.

They took the…read moreold store changed the entrance so that there is only 1- before there was 2, and crammed an American Eagle plus Aerie together. I don't believe they took over another neighboring store - maybe they did - but regardless it feels cramped. It's open between the stores so you can walk in between them but I don't know if you're supposed to as there are two registers. It's very confusing. The aerie has significantly less merchandise and I didn't even see a sale section- their old location in the mall had a great sale section. We were greeted upon entering the store and everything was in top shape - everything folded neatly and presentation was spectacular - but that's because no one was in the store so it was easy to keep it clean. I came around Christmas when it was busy and it was so crowded which made it even more cramped. Their check out is in the back of the store and there is hardly any room so you had to weave in and out of displays to stay in line. The selection online is larger and cheaper - I hate to continue buying online but this store just doesn't do it for me. I honestly had such a better experience shopping in their temporary store on the bottom floor then any other previous American Eagle experience. It was clean, large, fully stocked. This floor plan is probably more practical in the long run for American Eagle but it's way too cramped. Economically I get it, but as I consumer - I don't like it!

I think that the salespeople at the store need to be informed of the policy when a defective item is sold from their store and the return requires shipping, which should be free. When I called the 800 line, the response was swift and the store followed through on issuing a refund immediately. It was clearly a misunderstanding on the part of people who were trying to do their best. I love all of the clothes I bought at the store and would shop there again.

I went with her because I wanted to go to the Farmer's Market in Suburban Square. From the moment we walked in, the two white women working stared at us and began to whisper. My Mom didn't see anything she wanted to exchange her items for, so she asked for a return. The old white woman (Nicole) asked my Mom for her zip code despite the fact that she had a receipt. Nicole could barely complete the transaction due to her poor computer skills. My sister and I called them out on their racism and micro aggressions. Nicole actually tired to walk behind us as we were leaving in a threatening manner. She also referred to my sister as "sir" and misgendered her twice. Luckily, she stopped herself. These store employees at these faux fancy spots need to get it together. You're a clerk at a damn store trying to be racist. Please.

I should have brought supplies and a compass. 1) The store has a lot of stock. too much stock. there are piles and racks and mounds and seriously I was in there for nearly 10 minutes before encountering a clerk and was seriously tempted to ask "Dr Livingston I presume?" All this made it hard to find things and remember where you'd seen something. 2) This is just my taste. While there were some nice pieces and I was upset a pair of spectator shoes weren't in my size, a great many of the pieces by cut, color and material look like they will be sold to people going to a high school prom in northern New Jersey circa 1974. The sort of thing you'll wear once so mom or grand ma can coo over it and will promptly spend the rest of it's existence on the floor of your closet. So there are some nice pieces in here but they seem to be hidden behind a crowd of clutter and poor quality items making the search only slightly less harrowing than a search for the cracks of Doom.

Latrice even followed up on the phone to tell me about their latest promotions which is so awesome! I love saving money!
