Dislike this place. Specifically one doctor in particular. He was condescending and rude. Wont return.

I don't know how- but dr Karsten was able to remove the tooth and my son had no idea that it had been pulled.

The doctor makes sure you are comfortable and pain free if more extensive work needs to be done. I also like if your next appointment is down the road the staff sends you reminders followed by a phone call. Last is there is a schedule change due to a cancellation you might be one of the clients who maybe be able to fill in the early slot. This happened to me several times in the past few years. As to urgent needs the office is very accommodating like a crack tooth or sudden pain. I highly recommend this dental office.

Since they know how to treat young children, my son has never known fear whenever going to the dentist. Even at his age now, he still misses rummaging through their toy box at the end of his visits, to leave with some little bauble as his prize. All of us have experienced nothing but the utmost knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and friendly care. Although there have been many opportunities to do procedures that would have greatly enhanced their profit margin, they have always spared us unnecessary dental work, and have gone out of their way to preserve and improve our teeth and gums. One of the dentists on staff even worked on an unusual dental problem I had on her own time and free of charge. The dental hygienists here, most notably, Jill, are absolutely top-notch. They are thorough, knowledgeable, very friendly, and put you at ease, while finding the best ways to minimize pain and discomfort. The reception and office staff are also the best, always remembering us with a smile. It almost feels like visiting with family when we go there!

I naively didn't realize it wasn't always standard to have one. The polishing she did was no more than 30 seconds, only to the exterior of my teeth. I was informed I had a few cavities and Dr. Walia scheduled me for an appointment to get them filled. At this appointment, she only filled one of these cavities (it was not intensive, maybe 15 minutes in-and-out) and informed me she'd be scheduling me for another appointment for the rest, explaining that she didn't want to numb both sides of my mouth and risk me biting my tongue. That's reasonable. I arrived for the next appointment. Dr. Walia's assistant (who she actively degraded throughout my first two appointments) was absent and her receptionist filled in. It's unclear if the receptionist had any training... Again, this was a quick appointment: in and out. The cavity was so minor that we agreed not to use novocain. Yet, I was told I'd have to make yet another appointment for the next cavity. This was scheduled this upcoming Monday, despite my frustration with the process. Just wanted to get it over with. Today, I received a call from Dr. Walia herself, asking to reschedule due to staffing. We agreed on a new date and I did express my frustrations regarding the process. We disconnected and I soon received a text and a call back from Dr. Walia, stating she could keep my original appointment. I expressed concern due to her staffing issues on that date and requested to keep the rescheduled time. Dr. Walia continued to push that she could do the filling on the original appointment date, despite previously indicating she didn't have proper help. At that point, I requested she cancel my appointment and forward me my X-rays from the initial appointment via email so I can continue with a more appropriate dentist. I guess we'll see if I even get those... In providing my email to Dr. Walia, she realized she was not speaking with the patient she had thought she was talking to, noting in surprise that I was not a woman named "Julia." I only hope that her attention to detail holds up better in her dental work.

Not My Cup of Tee(th)…read more I went to this office because of the numerous good reviews and because they were in my insurance network - always a plus to use as much of your benefits as possible. Unfortunately, after two visits, I returned to my out-of-network dentist for two reasons: #1 I felt "pressured" at this office to do more (aka spend more) than I desired and #2 The approach used here did not fit with my desire for efficiency. On my first visit, I was told that I needed to consider a panoramic X-ray, but that, because insurance limited this to once every five years and I was within that timeframe, that I would be on the hook for a chunk of the cost. I asked if I could "think about it" and the response was "of course ... totally up to you." But less than 10 minutes later I was asked "OK ... what's your decision on the panoramic X-ray. I can't treat you without it." So, while I was told it was "up to me," I wasn't going to receive treatment if I didn't do it. Thus, the feeling of being pressured. In addition, he proceeded to photograph each tooth and then go through them one, by one, by one, by one, by one - you get the picture. While some might like this approach, I don't really want to spend 120 minutes (yes - they told me to schedule a two-hour appointment for the initial visit) to be told about each tooth. For me, I would prefer a more efficient process of depending on the dentist's expertise to point out where there are issues, taking far less time from my day. To be fair, I did not feel Dr. Patel was not capable (from what I could tell) - but I did feel pressured and did not care for their approach ... enough to go back to an out-of-network provider.

I was terrified of dental care until I came here. They sat and listened to all my fears and…read moreconcerns and did everything possible to address each one and make sure I was comfortable. I've now been a patient for a year and I still love this office so much.

There aren't that many reviews on Yelp for this dentist but it seems that from when these bad…read morereviews have started which is FAR back, you can see NOTHING has changed regarding the staff, the experience and the lack of cleanliness. First of all, this was our first visit since my son chipped his tooth. I try to make make to much judgement over a phone call if I don't get a pleasant person since hey, we all have bad days. I set up the appt and when we got there, it was in a older building and the front door to the place made me even question if I was the right door. Sorry, but in a day like today where I know I pay top dollar in my insurance I expect a unquestionable appearance. Old and dirty inside, glad this wasn't for my 5 year old because I wouldn't be able to keep him from touching everything that im going to make a safe bet, doesn't get wiped down. Receptionist was on the phone for 5 minutes before acknowledging me. After check in, I was trying to get work done in my email and there was zero service. So I asked the receptionist if there was wifi and she whispered to me that they wont give her the wifi password and ask her why does she need it. SMH if this is my first impression, maybe second, let me go on. I believe we sat there for 20 minutes before getting seated and another 10 in back before the dentist came to visit. First of all, im not a fan of going to a dentist that have chairs lined up where work is done in the open in front of other patients. Thankfully, my son was the only one scheduled at the time. As I sat there observing, it felts dirty& cluttered. I was truly nervous about the work that needed to be done on my son. I had to leave the office and call my husband who found this place and share how disgusted I was of it. If there is one thing I EXPECT when it comes to any kind of DR office is CLEANILESS!!!! This office was old and grungy and looking at the equipment it did not look clean either. I question how office they keep anything clean there. Sure, they have sterile machines that I saw the girls doing their thing banging things around and putting stuff away because everything is in the open. DR finally came to examine my son, she was nice but said she needed to take X-Rays, I said we sent you copies of them from his first dental visit and she said they were blurry. Now looking at the old reviews I bet she was just looking to make a charge. But thankfully that's all the work she could do since it was out of her wheel to be able to take on the next steps. I was so grateful and ran out of that place feeling disgusting. Called a friend to share the experience and funny enough, as she heard my story she shared the same experience from this same place a few years back. Next major complaint, I set up a appt with the dentist they suggested (did my homework and they seemed right up my alley). They were clean and professional! Unfortunately, All Family dental did not respond to my email and forward the xray to the new dental office and at this point I had to many xrays taken and cant afford them without insurance covering so I told the new office I will call All Family Dental again. First call, the lady asked if I filled out a waiver while in the office to share the xray. Excuse me? What? No! No one suggested I should fill one out and let me remind you we live in a day that even old school fax is used in every office OR if you caught up on the modern world, which every business should be you can send it by email. But no, she said I had to come in and that was unacceptable to me so I asked to speak with someone else who then picked up the phone, wrestled with it and hung up. Called back, I said I did not appreciate getting hung up on and they said it was the answering service and she would transfer me to the front desk, same thing happened...hung up. Im livid at this point, extreamly unprofessional. I call back, calmly but sternly tell them im in no mood at this point to play games, im not driving there to sign a paper that they could have told me to sign since they recommended me to this dentist and they could have called me back when I left the message to handle it prior. The lady on the phone sent me the xray to the dentist email and I thought it was over from that point but they sent me a xray that didnt belong to my son. So all this commotion because of privacy they send me someone elses xray!!! My experience with the recommended dentist was amazing but this place is a joke and I will copy and paste my experience to share in any place a review can be posted.
